I've finally made a rainbow dragon! This little guy was commissioned along with a rainbow gryphon. I've been wanting to make a rainbow dragon for a while but haven't had time, so this worked out perfectly! The white clay I used for his body actually has iridescent glitter in it, so when you move the glitter changes colors! Such a fun dragon to make. I love his rainbow belly
OMG gryphons!!! Ok so. These things. Gave me no end of trouble. I was commissioned to make a a little gryphon in my pony style, and holy crap making cute bird lion monsters was hard It occurs to me I've never sculpted a bird, let alone a cute one, so I made about 8 prototypes before I was finally happy! The top two are my favorite. The two left ones are spoken for, and the standing one just sold. The little brown one is still available in my Etsy shop for anyone interested: [link]
Made from Premo Sculpey, about 1.25 inches tall
EDIT: These four are all sold now, but I've added a permanent made-to-order listing in my shop. You can customize the colors and pose of your own baby gryphon! Check it out! ---> [link]
Another commission. I was pretty much given free reign with this one, as I was simply asked to make an owl pony. I thought about just painting an owl as the cutie mark, but it just wasn't owly enough! So she is actually an owl pony
Another finished commission. I really had fun with this guy. He is a bit bigger than my normal gryphons, so he has more wing detail. Basically they just asked me to come up with a frost gryphon, and here is the result! He has some fine shimmer powder applied to give him a frosty look, though the photo isn't showing it very well.
He has a fire brother here:
Handmade from colored Premo Sculpey clay, 2 inches tall NOT FOR SALE. Commissions are closed until July.
QUESTIONS??? Please visit my FAQ page [link] before asking questions about techniques and materials. Just about every question I get is covered there. Iím not trying to be rude, I just get tired of answering the same questions over and over
Awwwwwwww... I just love these two. They are actually really big compared to my usual dragons. Wedding cake toppers are my one exception to sculpture size limit, since most cakes are huge, and they would look silly at just two inches. I just love the pose they chose for the dragons, and absolutely adore the sapphire blue against the pearl white!
I made these cuties for my two sisters. Their birthdays happen to be a day apart from eachother so I always have to make two gifts instead of just one! These are their favorite animals. My little sister is rather girly so she got the pink giraffe with hearts worked into the pattern. My older sister loves purple and adores elephants. She also has a rather hippie-ish spirit, so she got daisies.
It was fun making some different critters in my pony style. I think they came out really well!
