My personal settings as of 1/7/2014. All of these values can be edited in your Render Settings panel.
My PC is an Intel i7 with 12 gig of RAM, most final renders take anywhere from 7 to 20 minutes.
Bucket Order: Horizontal (this is up to you though)
Bucket Size: 16
Max Ray Trace Depth: 1 (I don't need extremely accurate reflections)
Pixel Samples X: 12
Pixel Samples Y: 12
Shadow Samples: 24
Gamma Correction: Off
Shading Rate: 0.10 (this is important. My value is low on purpose, it's slower but better).
Pixel Filter: Sinc
Pixel Filter Width (X): 6.00
Pixel Filter Width (Y): 6.00
Motion Blur is off

Snow's Tips #4 - Basic Camera Tips for DAZ StudioThe Perspective View is not saved with a scene or between sessions. If you like the angle you've created using the Perspective View, create a new camera and when the Create New Camera box appears, check the "Apply Active Viewport Transforms : button (click the "Show Options" button on the bottom if you cannot see this option). Focal Length is probably the most important parameter for a camera. The default is 65. Setting this to a low value (like 25) will create a fish-eye distorted view, with some objects appearing to zoom disproportionately. Raising it to high values (like 100) will 'flatten' the zoom and lessen the effects of objects being at different distances. It's important to experiment to see how this actually looks, but I recommend using a value between 65 and 85 for most scenes.

But First: EVERYTHING NEEDS TO GO UNDER ACTOR.
This is all that's required for them to appear in the Shaping tab. I don't care about this, because I think the Shaping tab is completely unnecessary, but it may save you a few complaints if you release products or freebies. Also, if you want to offer a product to DAZ, they prefer morphs to appear under Actor as well.
I'll also take the opportunity to apologize for the products for Genesis I sell at Rendo that are poorly categorized. I didn't sell at DAZ yet, and I didn't know. I can't really update them now, either, because without uninstalling manually people would just have morphs appearing in two places. I promise to do it from now on.
