"Of course, Doctor." Twilight rolled her eyes. "So, Pinky, lead the way."
The pink pony took up the lead. "Okey-dokie! Follow me!" she set off bouncing down the alley.
"After you, Daylight." The Doctor ushered her forwards.
"It's Twilig-, oh you know what, just forget it." she marched after Pinkie, head in the air.
The Doctor looked down at Spike. "What did I do?"
"Fillies, can't live with um." Spike shrugged and followed.
The Doctor looked confused for a moment. Then he looked around, and realised everyone had left "Uhg, it seems some things are the same in every world." He raced to catch up.

Twilight looked around as she walked down the old roads of Ponyville. On occasion she missed the large cityscape of Canterlot . Though Ponyville was indeed nice, with it's own charm, she could not escape that feeling of homesickness, the hustle and bustle of the city, the millions of ponies of all shapes and sizes, the buildings stretching into the clouds. She missed it. And yet, she had never been out of the city before her trip here. Canterlot and Ponyville were the only homes she knew."Perhaps all I need is a change of scenery." She mumbled to herself. "Ponyville is beginning to feel a little small."
The purple unicorn was shaken from her thoughts by a large boom. Something blue hurtled from the sky, leaving a trail of smoke in it's wake. It collided with something in the distan

Fluttershy sat in her house looking out into the garden. Small woodland creatures frolicked about as usual around a myriad of colorful flowers. It was the end of spring, and all the blooms were having their final hurrah. She sighed, she enjoyed these quiet moments in her house more than almost anything else. A cool breeze wafted in, it smelled pleasantly of spring. She inhaled deeply.
A large boom shattered the calm. Animals scattered in all directions to get away from it's source. Fluttershy looked around wildly in the confusion. Out of the sky a large blue something hurtled downwards.
She stared up in bewilderment before she realised where it was plummeting.
"Eeep!" she skidded backwards seconds before the thing crashed into the window, splintering the wood and sending various objects flying inwards. It was a blue box, above it the words "Police Public Call Box" sat in glowing letters. The double doors swung open. A brown stallion poked his head out.

"Barcelona?" Doctor smiled widely.
TARDIS was purring quietly while her owner was impressing himself. Yeah, exactly - himself. If she only could tell him how bad he looked these days.
Unfortunately TARDIS couldn't speak. Disappointing was the fact that Doctor never thought about giving his spaceship a voice. It's very own voice. TARDIS could feel but she couldn't speak her thoughts... More or less. After some years she figured out other ways to communicate. Very effectively.
Doctor stopped for a moment, looking at the door. He wished Rose was there entering the ship. He could clearly imagine her walking towards him with a bright smile. Time Lord snapped his fingers giggling quietly. Closing the door just in front of Jackie's face was just too funny to resist. But there was no Jackie. No Mickey. He missed them. He could remember all of them: Rose, Martha and even Donna, whose yelling didn't seem so irksome right no

The TARDIS doors swung open with a slow creak. The Doctor and Twilight peeked out, it was pitch black, there was a smell of damp age that lingered, and made the air thick and heavy.
"Where are we?" asked Twilight.
The Doctor ducked back into the TARDIS, grabbing his coat. "We're still in the library basement, we've moved in time, but not space." He reached his head into his pocket, popping out with the sonic screwdriver.
"But it seems like no one's been here in years." Twilight looked around into the darkness.
"A very likely possibility." The doctor said around the small tool. "A lot can change in fifty years, Twilight." he pressed the button on it's handle, with a ringing sound it sent a small beam of light into the dark.
Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust, worktables sat in various stages of decay, half opened books lay open atop them and in piles at various intervals along the floor. Cobwebs hung from everything making patterns against the wall as the lig

The sun filtered down through the leaves of the Everfree forest, Casting specks of light upon a sleeping brown earth pony and the small unicorn filly using him as a pillow. The Doctor stirred slightly as the forest awoke. Opening his eyes, he looked around until his sights fell upon a blue box, now standing upright next to a large gouge in a nearby tree.
"Terrific!" he yelled. "I knew the old girl could do it-" he cut himself short when he noticed Trixie's head lying against his stomach.
With great care he maneuvered himself out from under her, placing her head on the charred remains of his jacket. He walked over to the box, opened the doors wide and stepped inside. The TARDIS had repaired the damage sustained in the fall and was back in working order. He put his forelegs on the console, pulling various levers and knobs.

Pinkie Pie sat in front of the toy shop, examining a firefly closely, it had been a little while since Twilight and the Doctor had run off.
"What's taking them so long?" she wondered to herself over the loud crashes, bangs and occasional unearthly wail from inside the shop. But she was quickly distracted as a second firefly joined the first.
"Ooooh." she whispered.
A small blue unicorn sat on a tree stump on the outskirts of the Everfree Forrest. A small wooden wagon sat nearby filled with a small amount of food, some flowers and a starry blue blanket. She noticed it was getting dark and, sobbing softly, she took the wagon handle in her mouth and ventured into the forest. The trees were thick, and even though it was only sunset it was almost pitch dark only a little ways into the forest. Strange sounds emanated from the thick grass as the cold wind blew the leaves along the ground. She'd been on the run for a while, but she'd never gone this far.

"This is an awesome party, Carrot!!" Called a mauve earth pony around her braces, over the loud music of the dance hall. Lights flashed on and off around them as lasers arched through the air. She wore a checkered handkerchief, and several glow rings around her neck and hooves, they jangled and shook as she danced.
"Yeah! I know, it's totally tubular!" replied Carrot, a yellow pony with a orange mane. "These are some pretty fly beats!"
The pair bopped and jammed along to the music, dancing and bumping into other ponies on the crowded dance floor as they went.
The music cut out abruptly.

There was a strange sound humming over the complaints and whinnies of the dancers. A sound somewhat like a key being dragged across some piano wire.

"Doctor, why did you stop?" asked Trixie, still sitting in front of the brown stallion waiting for the end of the story. "What were the things on the train, tell me!"
The Doctor was silent.
"Ssshhh!" He put a hoof to her lips. "Do you hear that?" The Doctor looked around the TARDIS. All Trixie could hear were the sounds of the console whirling and dinging as they normally did.
"Doctor, I don't hear anything..." Trixie whispered, pushing his hoof away. "What is it-"
"EXTERMINATE!" A cold robotic sound rang out from behind her.
The Doctor tossed her to the side and dived away as a beam of dark light arched across the air with a fizzing sound. "She got one inside!" he yelled. The Doctor bent his head down and hefted Trixie onto his back, turning at a full gallop into the TARDIS interior. She was jostled and bumped as she hung on for dear life.

Scumbag: the most prolific term in my vocabulary is the word scumbag, and for good reason; almost everyone I meet in the streets nowadays is a scumbag.
What constitutes a scumbag? The signs are too long to list, but I don't need to; I know a scumbag when I see one, and the unicorn running away from me at this very moment constituted a grade-A example of what a real scumbag is.
The filthy piece of scum ran - flying almost - as I pursued him, pistol levitating near my head in a soft, dark colored glow. He sure ran fast for someone who had just had a bullet pierce his hind leg; but I had grown accustomed to this sight, as it had played out in the same form for more times that I dared count.
His ragged red robes concealed just how dangerous this piece of equine filth was, and this one was as vile as you could get: a foal-raping, mass-murdering cannibal cultist who was mere seconds away from having his brains become part of the pavement.
The cultist nearly collap

Fluttershy panted heavily as she lay on the cloud. Her wings were sore and her energy was low. She wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this up, it was exhausting her.
"Are you finished already? We've barely gotten any flying in today!" Rainbow sighed, hovering over the tired Fluttershy.
"I'm sorry " Fluttershy squeaked as she shakily got up onto all four hooves again.
"You're never going to keep your grades up if you don't get into better shape." Rainbow said flying down and forcing her on to her feet, spreading her wings and getting her into a flight stance, much to Fluttershy's dismay. "Okay, give me another speed lap around the loops. And GO." Rainbow yelled out before blowing on a whistle.
Fluttershy let out a soft cry before flying forward as quickly as he wings could carry her. Her wings had developed early and grown larger, but they weren't very strong despite that. Rainbow could only groan at Fluttershy's top speed, not even being a third of what she could

"No, really I can't dance. I can't even see straight enough to walk properly!" Ditzy argued, awkwardly fixing the crystal baubles that the doctor gave her for hair decoration.
"Oh, bah! Dancing's easy, I can teach you quickly," he laughed, peering into the back room he set up for her changing room. He blinked and then smiled lightly before he brushed back the curtain and stepped towards her. "Here, hold still, you silly filly."

As soon as the Doctor slammed his hoof on the TARDIS console, the machine came to life. The ship made sounds that were new to his pegasus companion as it began to soar through the stars.
"Now, Derpy," the Doctor began, "this TARDIS here can travel anywhere in the universe as well as any time! With a bit of technological know how, I can take you anywhere you wish!"
The grey mare's eyes lit up, fixed on the stallion, "Anywhere? Someplace cold! Where it's winter! I really like the snow!" Derpy was as giddy as a little schoolfilly.
"I know just the place, my dear!" The Doctor boldly proclaimed while his hoof violently pulled a leaver downwards. Almost immediately, however, the entire console room of the TARDIS shook fiercely. The Doctor kept his stance at the console, while Derpy grabbed onto the railings.

"WHY IS THIS SO COMPLICATED!?" Twilight groaned as she put the latest book she had been browsing through down. It too had yielded her no answers; she was squarely back where she had begun once again.
"You seem stressed Twilight, is this really that important?" Spike asked as he approached her quickly, placing a cup of her favorite tea down next to her.
"Thank you Spike." Twilight sighed softly levitating the cup up to her lips and taking a sip, starting to settle down again, "And it is. This spell is baffling me now. There's no indication in the book it comes from that suggests the spell is bad. Yet I have three separate testimonies that the spell shouldn't EVER be used again." It was decided that the wedding would be held the day after first snow fall, meaning the wedding would be held in two weeks' time. It didn't take long for the news of the wedding to be spread throughout Ponyville. The blasted landscape of Equestria had seen a late afternoon that had lasted for 15 years. The few scattered pockets remaining of normal ponies had only the faintest memories of the concepts of night - of what a sunrise or a sunset looked like. The vicious mutants didn't even have a memory of "The Before Time." For them, late afternoon was simply what was - ever-present waning, reddish light, diffusely spreading across the brown, dead landscape. Stories told them by the monstrous Sweet Apple Acres ponies of 'night' and 'day' were dismissed as obvious lies - attempts to control them, or legends of their monstrous dead goddesses, Celestia and Luna.
In one part of Equestria, that late afternoon sun shone down upon a small town where all records of it ever being called Ponyville were destroyed. It was now simply "The Compound," surrounded by a makeshift wall covered in spikes, to protect it from the unnaturally magical ponies from the

I'm sorry Doctor, but there's not much you can do
This you cannot run from
Certainly to that box of blue
So I have to run to my mum
Instead of you
I hope you had heard his story
The one that is over thousands of years
I hope you heard all about his glory
and how his mind worked with all those gears
I hope you heard of how he stole a box and ran away
Not daring to look back and say goodbye
Not with a reason of why
But he's called the Doctor for he's just the guy
I hope you have heard of planets he has saved
and all the lives he'd destroyed saved
and of all the hope he had gave
Not once he thought about his grave
All of his enemies feared him
They even feared his name
He never gave in
For it's his game
Do you know of his story?
Of how he was cunning?
Of all of his glory?
And all of the running?
Oh he's called-
