A Diver's WishA Diver's Wish
Ah, the sea. Calm, serene, and blue, its surface was sparkling and undisturbed. The moonlight reflected off of it, giving the water's surface an almost eerie glow Suddenly, a strange black shape appeared. It grew larger and larger until *SPLOOSH!* James, happy about his dive, swam over to the boat and handed his fins to the assistant at the ladder before climbing up onto the deck. He removed his mask and regulator, walking over to his seat. "Man, what a dive!"
"I know, wasn't it?" James turned to face the voice, which was coming from his dive buddy, Rob.
"Yeah. Man, I never get tired of seeing the ocean floor."
"Same here. Shame that we have to head back home to North Dakota tomorrow."
"Yeah " James' gleeful mood dampened a bit upon being reminded of that fact, as there were few places to dive within a medium distance of his house. In fact, none of the diving locales in North Dakota were oceanic dives, which were James' favorite. He could only do those whi
Anthro Shark TFWill walked along the little glass corridor in the aquarium. He was surrounded by a glass tube that people could walk through, immersed underwater, displaying the many hundreds of species of marine ecology, both animal and plant. He was working for the zoo, and right now he was simply traversing the walkway to get to his next workstation. He was the janitor/clean-up guy, It was Sunday, and now he was on his way to his last stop, to clean up the penguins' little part of the aquarium, and he had a student to help him, a high schooler who needed volunteer hours. As he walked along the corridor, he looked around him. There was fish, swimming contentedly, bright coral shining in the noon sun, and big reeds of seagrass dangling from the aquarium floor like the hands of the accursed, waving in the air from below the depths. Will sighed. But, then he noticed something- A tiger shark was following him. It was up next to the glass, swimming for the human. Dr.Dirk Adams stood at the edge of the dolphin tank at SeaWorld looking down at Jenny, the 7 year old female bottlenose dolphin. She had been there since they had found her struggling to break free of a net 6 months ago. They saved her and took her back to help her recover. Dirk became her care taker. For the first couple months she seemed happy. Every day when dirk would show up for work she would greet him at the surface. They would spend their days swimming together in her tank, chasing down live fish that dirk was able to procure on his own. But recently she started acting strangely, she seemed depressed. She would still come up to the surface to meet him, but not with the same enthusiasm. She wouldn't swim with him or chase fish.
"Maybe it's time for you to return the wild. I'll talk with the director. Look in to getting you back out to sea," he said.
Two weeks later, they were on a boat heading for the middle of the Gulf of Mex

Come on kid, hurry up and jump already. We dont got all day to stand in line. An obviously upset voice from behind yelled.
The kid that was being yelled at had been holding up the line at the high dive at his local pool. Scared of heights, he had spent the last five minutes arguing and debating with himself about whether or not to jump off. Sadly, this had lead to there being a large line of angry people behind him yelling at him to get on with it.
Alright, alright, just hold your horses. Im going to jump. Just give me a minute.
He could already here the collective sighs of frustration as he walked towards the end of the board. As he did so, though, he slipped and fell onto the board, much to the enjoyment of the people behind him.
Now just do that again and fall into the water. The crowd roared

Without even asking, I grabbed the clipboard from his hands and signed in the appropriate places, before grabbing the parcel from him and slamming the door in his face.
I eyed him through the peephole as he checked the details of his clipboard carefully, before turning away to his truck to deliver his next set of items.
I quite literally whooped in joy as I turned to open the parcel, for I had been anticipating the arrival of this costume for a week.
A week back, I had been searching the Internet for a place to get a costume for the upcoming Halloween party that my friend, Gerald, was planning to host.

Jason was uneasy.
This was somewhat of an understatement. Having been left on his own by his allies on an alien planet, and with no idea how to operate the ship to get home again, in a mission that seemed increasingly suspicious the more he thought about it, it seems increasingly likely that uneasy was the baby cousin of the word needed to describe how he felt.
Nah, terrified wasn't really accurate, it wasn't like he was sobbing in fear. Jason had never really been terrified of anything. Perhaps... lost. Lost and alone, with all that that entailed.
Six months ago, Jason had been chosen to go on an expedition to Avia-5, the first planet outside the solar system to have been discovered that could house life. It was an exhilarating prospect, and one that he could never have turned down - as rather a small time researcher, Jason had only sent in an application letter out of vague optimism that they might want a large scientific team there and he could work as

Tiamat and Prof. Kurataro, who had taken the dragon name "Hizano", would be following him, as they were the most skilled adult mages in the group besides Bahamut (Hizano was surprisingly adept at using magic, which Bahamut speculated was due to being an Oriental dragon).
