Ah, the sea. Calm, serene, and blue, its surface was sparkling and undisturbed. The moonlight reflected off of it, giving the water's surface an almost eerie glow Suddenly, a strange black shape appeared. It grew larger and larger until *SPLOOSH!* James, happy about his dive, swam over to the boat and handed his fins to the assistant at the ladder before climbing up onto the deck. He removed his mask and regulator, walking over to his seat. "Man, what a dive!"
"I know, wasn't it?" James turned to face the voice, which was coming from his dive buddy, Rob.
"Yeah. Man, I never get tired of seeing the ocean floor."
"Same here. Shame that we have to head back home to North Dakota tomorrow."
"Yeah " James' gleeful mood dampened a bit upon being reminded of that fact, as there were few places to dive within a medium distance of his house. In fact, none of the diving locales in North Dakota were oceanic dives, which were James' favorite. He could only do those whi

Dr.Dirk Adams stood at the edge of the dolphin tank at SeaWorld looking down at Jenny, the 7 year old female bottlenose dolphin. She had been there since they had found her struggling to break free of a net 6 months ago. They saved her and took her back to help her recover. Dirk became her care taker. For the first couple months she seemed happy. Every day when dirk would show up for work she would greet him at the surface. They would spend their days swimming together in her tank, chasing down live fish that dirk was able to procure on his own. But recently she started acting strangely, she seemed depressed. She would still come up to the surface to meet him, but not with the same enthusiasm. She wouldn't swim with him or chase fish.
"Maybe it's time for you to return the wild. I'll talk with the director. Look in to getting you back out to sea," he said.

He was the janitor/clean-up guy, It was Sunday, and now he was on his way to his last stop, to clean up the penguins' little part of the aquarium, and he had a student to help him, a high schooler who needed volunteer hours. As he walked along the corridor, he looked around him. There was fish, swimming contentedly, bright coral shining in the noon sun, and big reeds of seagrass dangling from the aquarium floor like the hands of the accursed, waving in the air from below the depths. Will sighed. But, then he noticed something- A tiger shark was following him. It was up next to the glass, swimming for the human. I lay back on the cool sand and shivered as water washed over my legs. The ocean felt warm compared to the sand as it had been a cold summer so far. But that didn't matter. It felt like nothing mattered anymore.
See, a few days ago, my parents had broken to me that we were moving. Like many families with a moderately low income, they could no longer afford to live in the nice part of the suburbs and opportunity for work had struck up elsewhere. So naturally, like any good parents wanting to provide for their kids, they leaped on the positions which paid better but required moving farther inland. They would be starting work in two days.
Tonight was my last day here and it really made me sad. Being summer, most of my friends were out of town so I would not even get to say goodbye before leaving forever; or, as my parents put it, "leaving temporarily". Both my sister

He took a deep breath in and then let it out slowly.
He'd had a good day today, spending his entire time out on the beach, enjoying the sun, listen to the waves. He was pretty sure he'd even dozed off a few times.
Work had been pressing him harder and harder lately, and he was glad for some time to himself. The day had passed too quickly as far as he was concerned and the sun was already below the horizon.
He took another deep breath, letting it out quickly this time, and then stretching his arms out.
He didn't want to leave and he certainly didn't want to have to go back to work tomorrow.
Leaning back on his arms, he stared out into the water, enjoying his last few minutes of freedom, before he had to go back home.
A small breeze blew in his face, and although it felt nice, he could feel a chill on the edges of it, and seeing as he was only wearing a T-shirt and shorts, he knew it was going to get cold pretty fast now the sun was gone.

A brilliant sunset glazed the thin low-lying clouds with fluffy pink icing. Like usual, I was walking along the beach collecting shells. I had found an extraordinary one tonight. And like usual, I had put it in a safe place in my pocket. Finally, after walking a few miles, the moon rose over the clouds and I decided that it was time to get home.
Later that night I sat on my bed, examining my find. It was almost perfectly round, with frilled edges and a pearly white interior. I grinned.
As I lay on my bed in the darkness holding the shell, I slowly drifted to sleep.

The unanimous decision among the dragons was for Bahamut to head to Dragon Dreams first, and obtain the Draconis Soran before anything else. That way, they ensured that they had it before anything else happened, and that they wouldn't lose it to the repo men. Of course, he wouldn't be going as a dragon, because Bahamut wanted the existence of dragons to remain secret until the Ushering In. Instead, he would be going in his human form as Henry, which was a simple feat for a practiced magic-user like Bahamut. Tiamat and Prof. Kurataro, who had taken the dragon name "Hizano", would be following him, as they were the most skilled adult mages in the group besides Bahamut (Hizano was surprisingly adept at using magic, which Bahamut speculated was due to being an Oriental dragon).
