A cold morning of november, in the mountains of Pyrénées. I wake up and go out from the refuge to photograph the sunrise. It's cold and the wind blows. To the east, the first glow of dawn illuminate the clouds, and gives them an inflamed color. On the summits, other clouds undulate as the flags of old ships ...

Pyrénées, France.

ITM

i went all barefoot hippy while i was out here and dug my feet in the sand, walked on these weird grass structures and felt the water wash over my feet. the grass felt amazing and the water was warm. a wonderful experience.

The 2012 landscape calendar is now available! Go check it out ;)

It was sunny all the way, but just above the lakes there was a big cloud which wouldn't move. It made it freezing cold, but there was no wind.

:facebook: [link] your support is appreciated and means and the world

Sunrise over Lake Tekapo, South Island New Zealand.

30sec exposure...which was essential. Too in love with the silky effect the long exposure gives a body of water to do anything but one! and by doing so, the eye is naturally drawn to the focus point of the image (the mountain range) and not distracted by choppy, harsh, ugly moving water ..well that's what I think anyways haha!

Really glad I stayed at Lake Tekapo long enough to see a sunrise over the mountains. The first few days produced nothing because of the clear skies. This is day three's sunrise. Third time's the charm! :D

EDIT: Wow! Daily Deviation! thanks guys for all your comments and favs! much appreciated :tighthug:

comments and :+fav: welcomed and appreciated
