I'd fall into a calming sleep where there was no yelling at all.
And even in the present day, the darkness calls my name.
Every second ticks the clock but doesn't heal the pain.
If only I could find the time to be my only valentine.
To rip this paper heart today and live in only yesterday.
And as I speak, the walls will creak, and say I'm fine.
Glory has an edge thats made of tightly bounded twine.
On this path, there is no light that guides a broken way.
On this road, there is no light that sings of glory's day.
If I could only find the rhyme that tells where to go.
I'm shadowed down a nowhere land of suffocating snow.
Until one day, I thought I was just laying in a dream.
I realized it was much to real to be a simple thing.
A shine that gave a reason for glory to sing.
I saw a little glimmer of an unfamiliar thing.
What is this beaming through my shattered window?
