The story of Lora Jett AKA LovergumLora Jett, Age 31, was initially a blond-haired cashier at a local candy store, selling pounds of candy to every group of children that arrived. She felt happy pleasing kids, as well as of course earning profits. Her income was quite well, at $750 a month, surprisingly. And yet, Lora did feel a bit jealous during her sales: Candy was one of her best after-school snacks, especially bubble gum, but she was never allowed at least one sample for so much as tasting.
One day, she was more baffled than ever: A large package had arrived at Lora's apartment porch, addressed to her, from a place called "Draemona" that she had never heard of. Forgetting that anomaly, Lora brought the oddly light box into her living room, sliced the tape open, and was surprised as to what was inside. Two things were there: A letter with odd English handwriting on it, and a bright red rubber cat-suit that reached from neck to toe.
Spreading the latter out on the coffee table, Lora studied the costume,
History of SpireFrom what we know in Myst IV: Revelation, Atrus had believed his Prison Age of Spire to be completely uninhabited from the beginning. I, for one, disagree with that belief. The broken stone palaces look much too intricate to have been there without people to have constructed them in the past. Sirrus believed that there was a violent, xenophoboic civilization as well. Perhaps they were, but also highly intelligent. Whatever the case may be, these points were supported by my constant interest in what those rock palaces would have looked like intact, and possibly inhabited. So, I have written a short story detailing the Age of Spire before Atrus linked to it.History of Spire1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
Too long ago to recount, a group of humanoid beings appeared on the world of Spire by unknown means. By then, Spire was no more than floating gargantuan masses of rock and crystal sitting in two thick layers of thunderclouds. Thankfully, these humanoids were endowed with enough intellect to construct a series of palaces from th

Author's note: For the confused, this story takes place before Finn discovers Flame Princess, and after Princess Bubblegum returns to 18 years old.
The sun was rising over the ever-sweet country of Candy Land, and the residents were preparing themselves for another great day. Plumpy set about tending his gingerbread plum trees, picking off which plums were ripe and pruning unnecessary branches; Jolly and his miners chiseled away in the Gumdrop Mountains, searching for gumdrops of the highest quality, and Grandma Nutt worked her best to maintain her peanut brittle cottage.
But, a few of the royal members of this country somehow felt that this day in particular would be different, in a way they could not describe. In fact, some of the usually cheery inhabitants felt saddened. One such, Queen Frostine, could not help but stare beyond her usually magnificent Ice Cream Sea,
First mission of LovergumTwo weeks ago, Loraine Jett had unexpectedly discovered a strange costume that bestowed elastic abilities to its wearer. The suit was packed with a letter saying that the sender needed help.First mission of Lovergum2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Understanding the message, Lora traveled immediately to the costume's source: a planet called Draemona, and defeated a strange half-snake, half-humanoid being there. A woman named Iris II turned out to be the one who gave her those powers, and Lora had saved her from the creature in return, though Iris did not know how to change her savior's form back.
As a bonus, however, Lora scored a sidekick, now knowing that she was a full-on super-heroine. Iris came up with Ms. Jett's heroic title: Lovergum her costume made Lora able to seduce any man (evil or good), and that her body did happen to share the properties of bubble gum. The sidekick, a small female dragon literally made out of bubble gum, also fitting with the duo, gained the nickname "Meredith".
All this didn't mean Lora had no soc
