In the Antarctic, many things can be seen and heard. Sights like the sun, shining off the snow giving the icicles and large bodies of snow and ocean a sight of wonder, and beauty. And sounds like music, dancing, and the call of an emperor penguin.
Today was a special day, a day where all the male penguins get to see their first born chick for the first time. A few months ago, these very same penguins were singing to the one that they would love forever and later used their love to produce their very own love, in the form of an egg. Once the females left to fish for their almost born chicks, the dad's had to stay and keep the egg warm through some of the deadliest storms these young guins' would ever have to face. Agony and longing for their mates to come back were among the crowd of males, many stayed strong and sang until the very end louder than they have ever sung just to see the sun rise once again.
