So you're like:
So you go home and try to study like:
You look over notes hoping that helps, but that made it worse so you're like:

Some sad news about wolves (?) and PHOTOS of themHi!Some sad news about wolves (?) and PHOTOS of them4 years ago in Personal More Like This
I must say I am a bit nervous I visited ZOO Brno few times in last few weeks and I see that one of three oldest pack members is not fluffy yet ZOO Brno's oldest wolves are Atila (male) and Alex and Clair (females, sisters). Arctic wolves live only some 7 years in the wild, but can have much longer life in ZOOs. But while Atila still looks nice and fluffy, both females look somehow... "used" this year maybe it is because they gave birth to so many pups and they also used to have some fight (at least one serious two years ago). When you look at their faces, they start to remind of those photos of very very old wolves you can see here on dA and one of the females (I do not which one of them is Alex or Clair) starts to lose fur, her back and hips are moulted
Last time I was watching wolves, ZOO guide came, saying "Do you see that moulted wolf there? It is one of our breeding females. Poor one "u to má asi za sebou"." Saying "u to mít za se
Winnie The Pooh 2011 Movie ReviewTo be honest I was rather underwelmed by this movie, which is disappointing because I had such high hopes for it. To be fair it's a perfectly good movie, above average in a lot of ways... but since it was framed as a sequel to the original 1970's Pooh, I felt that overall it was lacking something.Winnie The Pooh 2011 Movie Review4 years ago in Personal More Like This
This is the hardest part to explain. I don't know what exactly didn't catch me the same way other Pooh related stuff has in the past. Even the 1980's TV show "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" felt more connected to the original movie than this one did.
Part of it is probably the animation. While Disney animation is always phenomenal, as they are one of THE best animation studio in the whole world... something about this movie felt very... cheap to me. Some of the animation felt very floaty to me, an issue I have only previously encountered with Dreamworks.
There were a lot of sight gags that flash by pretty quickly too. I remember reading that they wanted to "modernize" Pooh for
HOLY FUCKITY FUCK FUCK.You know how this morning I made a journal about how Dala posted my music video on their Facebook page and their Manager emailed me and said I did a great job?HOLY FUCKITY FUCK FUCK.4 years ago in Personal More Like This
GUESS WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED.
The manager is my mom's friend's brother (as I explained) and they were emailing back and fourth about it and she just called to tell me that he decided he WANTS ME TO DIRECT DALA'S ACTUAL NEXT MUSIC VIDEO NEXT JUNE.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?
OH MY FUCKING GOD.
I LOVE THE WORLD.
WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON.
He's talking to Dala about it right now.
We'll see how things pan out, but even just the POSSIBILITY of it happening is enough to make my freaking life.
And also, ALSO - I have learned now that he's a music professor at a Humber college, and if I apply there for their film program (which I hear is petty good), he can get me in really easily. (It's not where I want to go, but if I don't get into the program I want at York

A quick guide in how to make a nice galleryI've seen many people, mostly young teenagers between 13-16, who rants in their journals about lack of feedback on their drawings.A quick guide in how to make a nice gallery4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Many, if not all, of these people think it's because they aren't good enough in drawing to be the reason.
But you don't actually need to be a "god" at drawing to achieve feedback on your gallery.
A lot lies in how you display your deviations in your featured gallery-folder.
The first thing you have to ask yourself is:
"Am I here for the community, or to show my art?"
Because if you prefer being here just as an art-appreciator and get online-friends. Then you maybe don't care about your gallery so much.
But if you wanna get feedback on your art, improve, and get some watchers, you really need to show the internet that you are serious. And that is hard to achieve with a mediocre gallery.
So here comes a list of obvious "DO" and "DO NOT".
Expect that people will give you feedback in the first place.
Because they won't unless the
I'm an Atheist. Deal with it.You wouldn't think being Atheist would influence your day to day life as much as being Christian (or Muslim, or Jew, or Hindu, ad infinitum) influences a Christian's day to day life. There are no rituals to perform, aside from those you appoint yourself. No prayers to be said, no verses to be read, or rules to be followed. I wake up, kiss my boyfriend, take a shower, eat something, go to work, talk and laugh and chat with customers, hug people, and then come home, kiss my boyfriend some more, and unwind in various ways.I'm an Atheist. Deal with it.4 years ago in Art Features More Like This
It sounds rather simplistic, and in practice it is. What complicates my life as an Atheist are the things I'm not supposed to say. The most important thing I'm not supposed to say is that I am an Atheist. One of two things happens when I tell people I'm an Atheist: 1) They smile and shake my hand, happy to meet someone with a similar world view or 2) They argue with me. The latter usually happens, as I live in an area that's rather dominated by religious communiti
Internet censorshipEDIT: Ok... that would be funny if it wasn't just plain creepy. Where did the first 38 comments go to? http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/5572/lolwutik.jpg I know it's probably a glitch, but isn't it just creepy that people complain about the government and a few hours later their comments disappear without a trace? Bad, BAD timing. Did the censorship reach my profile too?Internet censorship4 years ago in Personal More Like This
PROTECT-IP is a bill that has been introduced in the US Senate and the House and is moving quickly through Congress. It gives the government and corporations the ability to censor the net, in the name of protecting "creativity". The law would let the government or corporations censor entire sites-- they just have to convince a judge that the site is "dedicated to copyright infringement."
The US government has already wrongly shut down sites without any recourse to the site owner. Under this bill, sharing a video with anything copyrighted in it, or what sites like Youtube and Twitter do, would be conside

Men"Men don't write things!Men4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Men kill wild boar and the blood splatter spells out what they want to say!
Men don't even own computers!
They live in lavishly decorated caves and eat raw meat while smoking cigars and playing guitars and are constantly walking away from explosions without looking back.
Real men work out by strangling nazis and saving orphans, kittens and women from various threats.
They also all fly jets in their spare time and go skydiving without a parachute, surviving the fall every time by punching death in the face, thus coming away unharmed.
Men never speak.
They communicate purely through fist fights."

Sometimes I laugh at my own jokes.
This was one of those times.

The brilliance of Derpy HoovesAs many of you know in the first season of "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" there was an animation mistake resulting in a background character having googly eyes. Internet fans of the show (bronies) latched on to the character and nick-named her Derpy Hooves. The brilliance of Derpy Hooves4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Since the show has become such a huge internet phenomenon, Hasbro has responded to the appreciation by acknowledging the strange character and inserting her into strange places throughout the second season.
In "Feeling Pinky" she appears as the reason for a number of huge objects dropped from the sky.
In "Luna Eclipse" she appears dressed in a Halloween costume of made of paper bags.
In the Rainbowdash and Fluttershy duet song in "May the Best Pet Win" she creepily peeks her head out of the chicken coop.
In "Sweet and Elite" she appears inconspicuously dressed in her paper bag outfit hidden among fancy ponies during Rarity's musical number.
Hasbro's decision to accept the show's unique internet fame and fanbase is a really am
