K-Wood 3It was a sad day in the Serietei. Once again the brutal emperor's taxes were claimed leaving the people penniless.
As citizens went about their daily business, no one seemed to notice the group of bushes that would periodically and strategically move throughout the town stopping at every door step to leave small bags of gold to be found later, nor did they notice as the bushes slowly made their way towards the center of the town; more specifically, the bakery.
Dozens of citizens watched starving as fresh bread was loaded into a horse drawn cart headed for the palace. As the last of the bread was loaded, and a protective tarp was put over the carriage for travel, the palace servant prepared to set off.
The sounds of bushes rustling alerted the public to a third party present completely revealed as Kyohei and his men abandoned their camouflage and took aim with their bows.
After careful aim, Kyohei fired the first shot ripping the tarp clean in half and causing it to fall to the ground.
Unexpected 20The sound of techno music blared from the outside of the building. Drazon sighed. Music, loud obnoxious music. Of course.Unexpected 202 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Next." The Bouncer called Drazon walked forward. "Can I help you?" He asked with a skeptical look.
Drazon sighed, he didn't run halfway around the city, squeeze himself into the ridiculously dressed gigai and walk around wearing these clothes for nothing.
"I'm looking for a girl." He started
"Heh, aren't we all."
"Let me be more specific, I'm looking for a Nanami Shihoin. She's in there."
"Maybe she is, describe her." The bouncer said checking to see if this wasn't just another useless case of name dropping.
"About 5'4, tan, brown hair, purple highlights, purple eyes, really hyper, has a thing for chocolate." It bothered Drazon that no matter how much Nanami annoyed him, he'd learned a lot about her.
The bouncer smirked. "Alright alright kid, go on in. But hey, next time just say you're in the Shihoin party alright?" He unhooked the velvet rope and let him through.
Unexpected 18 "Come along Nanami." Natsume said standing at the top of the stairway.Unexpected 182 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Do I absolutely have to?" Nanami asked peering around the corner.
"Yes, yes you do." Natsume called back up the stairs as she headed towards her husband who was busy greeting guests at the door.
With one more deep breath Nanami rounded the corner and began walking down the stairs.
'No one's staring at you . No one's staring at you . Oh who the heck am I kidding?' She thought looking around. She stumbled a bit and had to catch the railing for support. Though she liked the dress, a violet strapless ball gown that fell to the floor, despite the glitter design that wove around the skirt, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Her hair had been curled and piled into a bun with her bangs swept to the side. Unfortunately, the dresses length added to the high heels she was wearing made it a difficult to walk.
Roku was waiting for her at the b
Dawning Days 14 "What a weird freaking day." Ichigo muttered to himself as he walked down the street towards Uraharas shady shop. He blinked back the sun shining in his eyes and walked around to the side. "First that whole kiss thing and then Nanami disappears. She better not have forgotten our training session today." He grumbled stopping outside of two wooden cellar doors. Bending down, he tried to jam open one of them before heaving an annoyed sigh. "So she was serious . I really have to say that." The doors showed no sign of budging and he sighed again setting his bag on the ground. "Open to me your doors of wisdom so I may learn for I am a talentless nobody. " He said holding his hands in front of him.Dawning Days 143 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
A loud laughter sounded behind the doors and Ririn poked her blond head out. "No way!" she said breathing heavily. "You actually said it! Urahara was right you are gullible and now Nanami owes him 3000 yen! Sucker!" Ichigo
FacadeDoes my mask have you all that fooled?Facade4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Do you think I can't feel pain?
That my body is made of an impenetrable shield of happiness?
I put on the mask and tie it tight.
Letting only a select few see behind it.
The smile is fake.
Obviously enough for you all.
It does its job. You never ask.
Day by day I wear it.
By night I take it off
And slowly fall apart.
