From time to time, I think I am very lucky in that my existence is caught up in what I do. I write, because I can't not write. And I draw for the same reason. Other people, apparently, are not this lucky. So I guess this journal is for them. Anyone who has ever doubted, anyone who believes they are a hack, anyone who believes that creativity done right flows all the time and never, ever stops (that's crap, by the way.) And, perhaps most importantly, that the Internet is the end, all be all of Art.

Author's Note: I think I should make clear that the following post describes my own personal issues/experience with palaeo rather than palaeo art as a whole.
Due to a typing area, I have noticed an entire section of this post has a completely different meaning to that intended. When I initially wrote "should be viewed from the same critical viewpoint", I really meant to write "should NOT be viewed in the same critical viewpoint". Apologies.
Its time for a controversial article lying in one of those grey areas.
Before you read on, I would like to point out that I am a proud palaeo artist who gets a lot of satisfaction from restoring accurate, life like dinosaurs. However, I do have some concerns.
Palaeo art is an industry where change is integral, and new finds and discoveries are giving artists new opportunities to reconstruct new and amazing looking creatures.
