Haku Returns chapter 1Haku Returns chapter 14 years ago in Romance More Like This
It's been six years since my adventure in the Spirit World, six years since I've seen him. When I was able to return to my world with my parents and before I ran to the tunnel where they were waiting for me, Haku did promise me that we will see each other again some day soon.
Having strong faith in him since that day, I've been waiting patiently for Haku to come into the human world and find me. Even at the times I become very impatient and had almost about given up on waiting for him, my memories of him and my strong feelings for Haku make me think twice because he could appear anytime, possibly when I least expect it one of these days.
Looking out my bedroom window, as I thought about Haku, I decide to go out for a walk. Leaving my room once my light was turned off and I closed the door behind me, my mom said from t

The Death Embassy stood out the front of the school. It was dark and looked like it had had a fire through it. Willow whistled and looked at a small bunch of flowers outside the gate. There were little cards and stones next to each bunch. Willow picked up a flower that had escaped from the rest of them and broke the end off. She placed it in her chest pocket on her jacket before returning to the group, who had proceeded to enter the school.
The school was charred and black with flakes of burnt paint peeling off.
"Nice " Gabby said and nodded while examining the building.
"Focus people," Demise said and turned down one of the many corridors. "We're getting close."
"Geh! What's that awful smell?" Kelsey asked waving her hand in front of her face.
"Why do you think I said 'We're getting close'?" Demise said with an unimpressed look on his face. Taylor giggled a bit at this, making Kelsey and Willow smile. Taylor was always sad and didn't laugh at anything but seein

Willow laid on the train seat, with her legs hanging over the armrest. She was reading a book. The book had a red cover with a gold engraved, reading 'The Book of Lies.' After a while, Willow put the book down and sat up. She looked out the window and watched as trees and mountains went by. Willow turned her head and looked down the hall. There were no passengers in her carriage.
'That's odd ' Willow thought to herself. She sat back on her chair and lent her head on her hand. Just as she was about to fall asleep, she heard the carriage door open and close. She looked down the hall and saw a man with black, red and blue hair. He wore a black pair of suit pants and a black shirt. His shoes were white and his tied was striped red and blue. Willow watched as he walked down the hall and past her. He sat at one of the far end seats.
Willow pouted angrily and fixed her glasses. Willow was quite short person. She was only 63inches tall. Thoug

or music, or even trees,
but all that came out were visions of you.
So I guess I'll just confess that
your face splatters across my mind in pieces,
because they don't all come together until
your fingers touch my lips.
I don't think I'm crazy,
but you are singing every song on the radio
and you are whispering in my ear
while you stare at me in the mirror.
You must be magic to be everywhere.
The kind of magic that
makes trees reach up for celestial beings
while we curl up between their gentle roots.
I've always wished on stars,
but I now have a reason to change my wish.
We're still too young to understand forever,
and I know the lights will dim for a while.
(I know of plenty of sad songs to keep me breathing.)
But you know where my star lives
so come back to me when you're ready
to tell me that I can stop wishing.
it doesn't matter what I try to write about,
because you are embedded
in every image
in every sound
in every word.

It was a peaceful moment, and the woman closed her eyes, and leaned her head back. "Grandma, what were the Hunger Games?"
The old woman's eyes flew open with shock, then she sighed. It wasn't inevitable, she thought to herself sadly. She was bound to ask some time.

They had every sort of luxury you could imagine, while half of the nation was starving. Every year, 24 children, two from each district, a boy and a girl, were sent out to the Capitol, where they would fight t

There were foreigners on his land. Strange men that had a lighter skin color than he. And their clothes were so odd

Augustus, my father and by extension, their grandfather, and his wife were visiting us for the holidays. The kids loved him; as did I.
But of course, since we didn't see them very often, there was a lot of catching up for us to do. And unfortunately, for my children, the most embarrassing memories were the ones that got told.
For the most part, they tattled on each other, like Antonio teasing Feliciano for not knowing where the Korean war was fought, Or Feliciano mocking Lovino for the way he sleeps with his feet uncovered because he feels like the blankets suffocate his feet. Hell, my father even got in on the fun himself, mocking my mom for her love of zumba classes and the way she does the YMCA dance when they take their daily walk.
But then, sometimes they turn on me.
This car ride happened to be one of those times.

Okay, so that morning I had been on my way to pick up Annabeth from school and bring her to camp. She gets in the car and tells me to go to the JFK airport. He had messy black hair and green eyes, almost exactly like me. We could have been identical twins if it wasn't for his glasses.
As the three of them got closer Annabeth got out of the car and ran to meet them. She hugged the girl, who must have been her pen-pal and shook hands with both of the boys. She seemed to have a double take when she saw the boy with the glasses but then led every one to the car.
