"Look, look! He's walking! Our little boy is taking his first steps."
Bolin and Misu smiled as they watched Howl take his first steps. From the doorway, Mako watched and smiled. Him and Korra had reacted the same way when Mei took her first steps.
"MAKO! COME QUICK!"
"Korra, is something wrong? Are you okay? Is something wrong with Mei? What is-"
Mako looked down to see his wife sitting with his daughter in her lap.
"This is what you called me in for? You sitting on the floor?"
"No." Korra scowled at him and crossed her arms. "Watch, watch! Go to Daddy. Go to Daddy!"
Mei stood up and toddled over to Mako and hugged his leg. "Daddy!"
Mako smiled and bent down and picked up his little girl. He tossed her into the hair and kissed her on the forehead.
Korra stood up. "I can't believe she finally walked! I need to call my mom, we need to throw a party! We need-"
"Korra, we need a party for this?"
"I don't know, I'm just so excited!" Korra jumped into Mako's arms and they both surrounded the

You woke up early, still dazed from last night's events. You had been kissed. By both of the brothers. In a matter of minutes. You still couldn't believe it.
Dragging yourself out of bed, you looked at yourself in the mirror and was surprised to see that you didn't look too terrible.
After a quick shower, you got dressed into some casually-nice clothes and walked downstairs to put your sandals on.
You looked at Germany and Prussia standing by the doorway and couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Neither of them were dressed up, and both of them looked like they hadn't slept at all last night.
"Come on, vhe don't want to be late " Germany said quietly before he opened the door.
"West, I don't know what you're talking about! We're in no hurry " Prussia commented with little enthusiasm as he lazily wrapped an arm around your shoulders.
"Right." Germany coughed and started walking. The two of you followed.
The whole walk to wherever the three of you were going, you felt

Since the day I was born, my eyes have beheld the Ghostzone
The air was freezing. All around, voices whispered from shadows, their owners trying to catch a glimpse of what was happening in the abyss below. A silence fell over the area, a new cry echoed into the depths of the Ghostzone. The gathered spirits murmured excitedly. It had actually happened; the halfa's offspring had been born in the middle of the realm of the dead.
Sam Fenton held a little bundle in her arms as her amethyst eyes darted around, catching glimpses of nearby ghosts. Warily she clutched her precious cargo closer to her chest. Inside the soft blankets, two small eyes stared curiously at the surroundings. The child was a newborn, and the world he now saw was an awe-inspiring mystery to him.
The mother of the little miracle looked to her husband worriedly. "I still can't believe he was born her in the Ghostzone Doctor Patterson said our child would be born next week, not this "

The sounds of the break-in woke Mako instantly. He had already trained himself to be a light sleeper when his parents had hushed, worried conversations in the dead of night. These sounds were different, of course.
He practically jumped out of his and his brother's small bedroom, easily able to leave the young Bolin undisturbed.
His parents were already awake, and the three ran into each other in a panic. The crashes were louder in the hallway. His father kneeled before Mako, placing a hand on his tiny shoulder.
"Mako," he said, urgent as his mother bent a makeshift wall out of the ground to block the hallway from the intruder. "You need to get your brother and get out of here. Go and find a safe place, and we'll meet you there."
"Mako, you have to do this. You've got to take care of your brother. We'll see you soon. Just get yourselves to safety, okay?"

George Weasley leapt down the last flight of stairs, pictures on the walls shaking in their frames and glaring at him. He only grinned and flew out the door. Today was going to be a wonderful day.
He'd been forced to take off early, seeing as he had to get to his destination. He wasn't seventeen yet, and so would have to take the slow route. By broomstick. Still, it was bound to be a nice flight, the weather was wonderful. It was early, but the sun was shining and the sky was bluer than he'd ever seen, cloudless as far as the eye could see. Perfect.
He chuckled as he grabbed his broom from the broom shed, shaking it to dislodge a few spiders who'd already taken residence in its twigs since he'd played a miniature game of quidditch two days before. He thought they'd learn that the brooms weren't a good place to weave their webs. Though Ron's face when he was forced to get his own broom was always good for a laugh thanks to the eight legged creatures.

Teddy came through the door in a rush, his letter gripped in his hand.
"I got it! I got it!" he said, doing a jump in the air.
Harry and Ginny were at the breakfast table with Gran, and in seconds their faces split into giant grins. James let out a roar of approval. Lily, covered in jam, giggled and clapped from her high chair, thoroughly amused by all the sounds coming from her brother.
"He got what?" Al asked.
"His Hogwarts letter!"
Al quietly smiled. Even at three he knew it was something good.
"I'm so proud of you, Teddy," said Gran, dabbing at her eyes with a napkin.
"Me too," said Harry, giving Teddy a warm smile.
Teddy suddenly felt his smile begin to fade. His hand went to the back of his head as he looked at the ground.
"What is it?" asked Ginny.
"I just... I wish my mum and dad could be here, you know?"
"They are," said Gran giving a gesture around them.

I was reading the local paper, when I happened across an ad in the paper looking for a baker. I desperately needed a job since I got laid off at my other one for reasons I shan't explain. The person who was advertising was Arthur Kirkland. "Hmm. Where have I heard that name before?" Scratching my head I sat the paper down and took a sip of my tea. While I was drinking it, I turned my attention out to the giant window. It was covered with perspiration from the humidity and rain coming down from it outside.
When I finished my breakfast, I got dressed in my normal attire. A white long sleeved button down shirt, with a pink vest, blue bow and khaki pants. Don't question me poppit. Before I left, I put on my black leather trench coat and grabbed my resume I had made so many times before, my blue with pink polka-dotted umbrella, and headed out the door. I stopped at a stop sign and looked around me. I noticed it had

"Dios mío! Eso es frío!" Spain yelped when the water hit him. You got hit as well.
"Ohonhonhon... Look whose all wet," France chuckled, earning a glare from you. Prussia dropped the hose and ran like hell.

The captain stepped out of the bislug-drawn carriage and squinted in the early evening light. It always took him a few hours to get used to sunlight after months in space. Paying the driver, picking up his one suitcase and slinging his captain's uniform over his left shoulder, he looked up at the two-story country house. It was situated in the middle-class district on the crescent of the Haniput Space Port, where the Interstellar Academy was located. Though he knew more people on other planets, he and his wife had decided not to move far after getting married. He grinned and his heart skipped a beat at the thought of his wife.
Young and reckless, their relationship had had a rocky start to say the least, but they had sacrificed much for each other, and he had grown to love her more than his own life. Ariel stared blankly at the destroyed grotto, her body numb to the after heat of her fathers trident and her ears deaf to the inquiries of her friends.
All she could feel was the freezing cold of her fathers hatred towards the human species, and all her ears could hear was the brutal truth: merfolk and humans could never coexist.
So where did that leave her? She was a mermaid, she could not deny that. But a part of her was also not mer... not natural. So where did she belong?
Anger pooled in her stomach and boiled up until the heat built in her cheeks and tears bled from her eyes into the ocean. She brought her forearm to her mouth to muffle the sobs.
This wasnt right. The merfolk werent right. True, the humans may eat fish, and they might not be aware of the damage they do to the marine world, but they didnt even know merfolk existed!

Twilight Sparkle paused in the middle of raising a steaming cup of cocoa to her lips and stared at Carrot Top. "The world? Going to end?"
Carrot Top just nodded, her face a blank slate.
Twilight took a quick sip before she replied. "Well, hypothetically speaking-"
"No," Carrot cut in, then softened her voice. "No, not just hypothetically. Please, think about this before you answer."
Twilight shook her head. "But there's so much I don't know." She rose to her hooves and paced back and forth across the hardwood of the library's floor. "Would it happen all at once, like an explosion, or would it be a few minutes, or hours, during which everypony would be scared?"
Carrot finally broke into a small smile. "I should have expected this." The smile dropped away as she answered, "All at once. About three and a half hours from now."
Twilight stopped and looked back and forth between Carrot Top's green eyes. The cup of cocoa hovered

Am I crazy?
Slowly, I walked, feeling the eyes that didn't exist on his face watching me. Watching my every movement. His proxy failed to get me, I wondered why he didn't just come and get me now. Just get it over with. I guess he fed on the fact that he was driving me crazy. My eyes were so tired, but they were stuck open. I wondered what time it was. I wondered who that girl, Cassie, exactly was. When did she get taken? It hardly mattered anymore. She was dead, set free from the suffering. I didn't know if it was a good idea to kill her. She could've helped me.
It doesn't matter. I told myself. I couldn't change what I did. She was dead. I killed someone.

I didn't want to go home. I didn't want to be alone, sleeping alone. I needed to be with someone I trusted, a sleep over. I had no blood on me other than the bottom of my shoes, but it wasn't noticeable. I walked for what seemed like an eternity, trying my best not to just pull my hair

You were sitting on your (colour) sofa, rubbing your swollen belly contently. You were now almost 9 months pregnant with yours, and your husband, Gilbert's child. Neither of you knew the gender of the unborn child; you had opted not to take the test. You both thought that it would be a magical surprise to wait until your child was actually born to know their gender. Of course your husband was Gilbert Beilschmidt so he did tend to regret his decision and get a little impatient sometimes, nagging and occasionally poking your tummy. You would just shake your head, smiling, and slap his hand away.
At the current moment your restless husband was in the kitchen......cleaning. Nine months ago, Gilbert wouldn't even have known where the cleaning supplies were stored, but your pregnancy had changed all that. Gilbert had started looking after you much more, especially when it came to the third trimester, he insisted that he do most everything for you. He wouldn'

It was late at night, and Li Shang was laying in bed with his new wife, Fa Mulan; well, now it was Li Mulan.
"Li Mulan. I like the sound of that," Shang said, smiling. Then he looked over at Mulan, who was fast asleep.
She had a small smile on her face, and was facing him. Shang smiled at her, and then leaned over to give her a light kiss on her forehead, careful not to wake her. Afterwards, he got up and put out the candle, then he returned back to bed and continued to watch her sleep, as best as he could in the dark.
Sometimes late at night
I lay awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
Then a horrible thought hit Shang, what if he died in his sleep? What if he never woke up in the morning? Granted, t

Epcot (part 2): World Showcase
Mexico wasn't anything entirely spectacular, in England's mind anyway. There was a fairly cozy looking restaurant over looking the lake in the center of the World Showcase, filled with enthusiastic park visitors and employees. Across from this restaurant was a large "Aztec Temple", colored tan with accents of reds, blues, purples, and greens. Upon entering this building, one found himself in a large marketplace. While walking around, America's heart became attached to a warm blue poncho.
"Check it, Artie!! Cool, huh?"
"More like very warm "
After purchasing the item, England had to convince his American partner that it was much to hot to even think about wearing it around.
"I can deal!! If Russia can do it, why can't I?"
"DON'T- His name is Ivan. And I'm not entirely sure how he can do many of the things he does. In any case, I'm sure you are not impervious to heat exhaustion. Now give me that vile thing, so I can put it away." Arthur pulled the
