Es, Ch. 20: Without Peace She reached home; still happy to share Flame's house; and searched for Flame. She couldn't find him anywhere so she went to his door and knocked No response. Opening the door, she found him asleep on his grand bed, completely at peace. She was uncertain whether to wake him or not. After all, he had no sleep last night, but she figured that he should know immediately. So, reluctantly, she woke him.
Flame wasn't angry; he was tired, but not angry; and he listened closely as Ember explained the fight that occurred between her and Soria and where she was at now.
Flame got out of his bed and Ember led the way back to the cabins where she left Soria. During the walk the rain stopped, as to be expected from the length of the journey, and Flame yawned while Ember's stomach growled; she still hadn't eaten anything.
As they reached the two cabins Ember found Blue off the roof and not in sight, with th
Es, Ch. 4: Flames of a Date Deep in sleep Ember dreamed of a flame in a meadow. Ember was standing in the field of flowers as the flame approached. The small clump of fire came closer to Ember, not leaving burnt flowers nor a trail of fire, and as it came Ember began to feel a happiness she has never felt before. Soon it formed into a young red dragon, about equal to the age of Ember. "Hi Ember," It said.Es, Ch. 4: Flames of a Date5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Hello, I've been waiting for you." Ember replied. But just as soon as it came it started walking away. "Wait, where are you going?" Ember said questioning its action.
"Away." It said.
"You just got here!" Ember cried out.
"No, I never came." It said, now in the voice of Spyro.
To that Ember woke. Here pillow was lightly wet with tears. 'What time is it' Ember thought. Rubbing her eyes and looking at her clock which read 11:37 so she t
Es, Ch. 3: Departure In the early morning of Dragon Village the pink dragoness Ember was curled up on the cold ground when a slight gust blew, catching a few leaves and taking them off, letting them scatter, with one of them landing on Ember. "Uh," Ember said in a yawn, while brushing the leaf from herself. 'What am I doing out here' Ember thought to herself while looking around. 'Oh, yeah. I must have fallen asleep after talking to... dang! Spyro's suposed to be fighting Nasty Gnorc today, and then he'll be traveling to the other realms... I hope he didn't leave yet, this could be my last chance to see him in awhile!' So off Ember went, running as fast as she could to Spyro's house.Es, Ch. 3: Departure5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Reaching Spyro's house she knocked on the door several times... no answer. "Well maybe he just left." Ember said to herself. 'Maybe I can catch him before he the fight or before he reaches the teleporter.' Ember thought running to Nasty Gnorc's cave.
Es, Ch. 1: Short lived Joy It was the day after Spyro left for Crocovile Swamp. Ember, still near the entrance to the swamp, was worrying about Spyro when all of a sudden he emerged from the cave that connected Cocovile Swamp to Dragon Village. Quickly Ember ran over to Spyro's side. "I was worried sick about you!" Ember exclaimed. "You easily could have been hurt!"Es, Ch. 1: Short lived Joy5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Well I'm fine." Spyro replied. "There is no need to be worried about me; I've done this kind of this many times before." Spyro said, trying to comfort her, if possible.
"I know" Ember said, still worried for him. "But if you have a chance to be hurt, and then I might never see you again."
"I'll be fine." "Besides, who else would save the world?" Spyro said, still trying to get her to understand.
"If you die, or are captured, I'd miss you and the world would still be in trouble!" "You can't go and leave
Es, Ch. 9: Reunion A few days after Ember had met Soria, Ember saw her again in town. Ember was out grocery shopping, trying to decide which fruit to buy from a fruit stand, when she saw Soria. 'Hm, is that Soria?' she thought; and so she walked up to her, not realizing who she was with. "Hi Soria, how..." She started to say until she spotted, "Flame?"Es, Ch. 9: Reunion5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Ember... Hey, been awhile." Flame said, awkwardly.
"Yeah it has been." Ember said, trying to remember how many years it's been.
"Wait, you two know each other?" Soria asked, looking from one to the other, confused.
"We were childhood friends... and we dated for a bit." Flame said, slightly blushing.
"After we broke up I moved here."
"To find Spyro?" Flame said, with a smirk.
"Spyro..." Life seemed to freeze as pictures of Spyro came back to her. Times of them playing
Es, Ch. 8: New life In time Spyro left Dragon Village, maybe to save another realm, or perhaps to find a land with more dragonesses his age. Regardless, it left Ember with only Flame, which she couldn't date or even talk to since their break up. With no one left for her to talk to, Ember left, going to the nearby city of Spiritgrowth. There she found a job as a florist's assistant and became accustomed to the city, which was much larger then Dragon Village. She found plenty of boyfriends, though none really worked out well.Es, Ch. 8: New life5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
One day Ember was out looking for blue roses when she came to a tan, white, and silver dragoness, about Ember's age, standing near some fast-growing, blue roses. Stopped immediately by the flowers, Ember stared, watching a couple dozen roses bloom to full growth in a garden. After the flowers grew the dragoness stood up and turned around to see Ember standing there.
"Oh, hi; can I help you?" the dragoness said, as
Es, Ch. 10: An ember's Envy She knew what she had to do. Not a night of sleep could be achieved until then, last night proved that much. So gathering what strength she could muster, Ember found her way into Soria's gardens. She knew only one way to meet up with Flame, and that was through Soria.Es, Ch. 10: An ember's Envy5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
And so she came upon Soria... and Flame, sharing a kiss. Nothing longer then a peck, but envy still boiled inside Ember. Yet right after it broke Flame turned, Ember hiding to avoid Flame's path of sight. Flame walked past Ember, not noticing her hiding and continued, while Ember emerged from behind him and approached Flame, almost innocently.
"Hi again Flame!" Ember said, with her most innocent voice.
"Oh, hey there Ember, where'd you come from?" Flame asked, even though there was only one way to come from, high grounds and a lake surrounded the majority of the garden.
"That way," Ember said, pointing t
Es, Ch. 17: After the Flowers Sunlight hit Ember's eyes and she awoke. She sat up, not remembering what happened yesterday until she got a shot of pain across her body. She fell back down as she remembered yesterday's events. 'Curse those fiendish apes,' Ember thought, surprised she thought that aggressively. She also remembered about being fired, and was sad, despite being freed from her jerk of a boss. She figured she should look for a new job today, but as she tried to get up again, another wave of pain struck her. She quickly changed her mind and fell back asleep to let her wounds continue to heal.Es, Ch. 17: After the Flowers4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Over the next few days she searched all around town for a job that would pay her good enough. After awhile she even came to Soria to help her, who swiftly denied her too. She found many jobs that would actually hire her, but all gave a significantly low pay. After searching the entire city, she finally settled on a job as a smelter.
It gave low pay, me
Es, Ch. 13: To Dream a Jewel She found herself in a dark, candlelit chamber, with ascending stairs behind her. Within the center of the chamber lay a stone pillar, atop it a beating red jewel. The chamber shook as Ember stood in it and the pillar swayed, causing the gem to fall. Behind the pillar ran a colorless and faceless dragon, reaching out a hand to catch the jewel. It fell down into the dragon's hand, and passed through it, hitting the ground and breaking into a hundred shards, each one skidding across the stone tiles to fade into a small flame. The flames grouped together into a fire and extinguished themselves, with them the candles. In pitch black the chamber shook, with crashes of rock falling everywhere. Scared and blinded, Ember ran up the stairs and out of the chamber, into a field of light.Es, Ch. 13: To Dream a Jewel4 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Es, Ch. 2: Return In a tropical forest Spyro and Ember were running through the brush, chasing a Crocovile. They ran through the forest until they reached its edge. There the Crocovile was cornered against a canyon, trying to scramble up its wall. Spyro asked.Es, Ch. 2: Return5 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"You know I'm not one to fight." Ember replied.
"Fine suit yourself." Spyro said charging at the Crocovile. As he did so a few small rocks landed near Ember. Looking up she saw some Crocoviles pushing a large boulder over the side of the canyon, right to were Spyro was attacking the Crocovile.

Es, Ch. 15: Ever so Bleak As she expected, the flight was as short as it always was. Ember came upon the large wooden house that appeared in a small clearing from its surrounding forest. Grenwell is a short, grey, and old Aardvark. He was good at his profession, but it took a good amount of time for him to complete his tasks.
He led Ember inside his house and pointed to the vases, he wasn't much of a talker. As Ember figured, there were a lot. After paying the potter, Ember headed out, with multiple vases in her arms.
The path back to the flower shop went like this: first she follows a trail through the forest, which leads up over a small set of mountains, to fall down into a marshland, opening into a prairie, and leading bac

"Thanks for the blankets, but couldn't you take me to a bed, the floor is horrible for my back." Ember said, while stretching, to Flame, who was sitting in a chair.
"Oh, I see you're awake. And I knew would be fine. The neighbors heard something from my house and checked it out to find my entire living room burnt and you laying there one the ground. They wanted to take you to a hospital, can you believe that?"
Ember fell back into a chair, tired. Then sarcastically said, "Well thanks for not saving me when I could of been seriously injured."

Eight months have passed since Soria fell into her coma. Ember checked in on her regularly or at least, she used to. Time had just faded away almost all hope that she had for her.
A lot had changed in Ember's life during those eight months. Ember and Flame became mates, after finally realizing that they were each other's one and only true love, and Ember gave up on her job search, seeing as Flame could easily support the two of them. It was the first of those that Ember was thinking about as she lied in her bed with Flame, who was still sleeping. She recalled it perfectly, the story of how, a month ago, Flame and her became mates; however, her mind also wandered to what else happened that day.
Ember was walking to the cabin where Soria was still being taken care of; Soliace was caring for her even after all this time, in her own

It was hard for her to believe that this would be her room; she had never lived in such riches before. Finally, after having a good look around, she left the room and traveled back downstairs to meet Flame again.
"Hey, done now?" Flame asked Ember, as she came down into the living room.
"Yeah, I finished moving everything. It's a really nice room, I love it!"

By his word and mine alone, this is the story of my brother. I trust his word, regardless of the choices he has made and the hardships he has endured. He is pure in existence, halfway through a journey of searching for a purpose that others could never define for him. If only he would understand.
He spoke to me in a shaken voice, as if he once again was in the shivering cold of Broken Talon Point with his division, "Zoe they always told me I needed to hate you."
I ignored the blood stained battle claws that adorned his feet, grabbing onto him in an effort to bring comfort, "Nix, you need to tell me what happened. You can't just-"
Nix's eyes glassed over once more, his entire body shaking in emotional turmoil "I I can't.

The only sounds that could be heard were the nightly animals moving about, the cool summer breeze blowing though the trees, and Terador walking slowly. "Ah Cynder, my former prized apprentice. Out of all people, you should know how I am controlling him." Aaron replied back, and his answer only brought more fear into Cynder. "And now the same way I am controlling him, will be the same for you." He said as he raised his hand. Cynder looked away as she felt darkness swirl around her, but to her and Malefor's surprised the darkness disappeared.
"How is this possible, you should still be influenced by the darkness?" Aaron asked.

In Spyro and Cynder's room they were sound asleep. Cynder's head was atop Spyro's chest as they slept. The only thing that could be heard was their soft breathing. Sighing, Spyro thought, what if this is the time? The time to tell her I love her too?

Flame - the happy out-going little dragon he used to know had matured quite a lot. His scales were now a deeper and richer colour of red. His yellow underbelly looked thicker almost like battle armor. His horns were now less brittle looking and longer, making them look almost like Ignitus'. He now had musceles in those arms and legs, and his wings were strong and fully grown. None of this bothered Spyro, except the fact that Flame was an inch taller than him.
Ember on the other hand had a skinny body like Cynder's, except it was softer and not as tight. Her scales were the same bright pink like he had remembered. Her eyelashes were longer, making her look almost beautiful if not for her obsessive personality. Her paws were small and her wings were very fragile-looking. Her horns were
