I Am Octus Chapter 2
Octus (still disguising himself with his "Newton" hologram) stared at his reflection in the bus window, vaguely aware of the conversions the other people on the bus were having.
"Newton," Ilana called. She was sitting on his right in the same bus seat as him.
When she got no response, she tried again. "Newton," she said, a little louder this time.
"What?" he asked, some-what annoyed, as his blank expression turned into a glare.
"You've been a million light years away since we left the art institute. Are you okay?"
she asked, concerned.
"Sure," he said, still glaring at the window.
"What's going on?" she asked.
Just then, Lance, who was sitting in a seat by himself behind Ilana and Octus, heard the radio.
"Meanwhile, in southern France, a series of strange occurrences" The radio reporter said, before being cut off as the volume of the other students conversions became louder.
Lance stood up and leaned over the top of Ilana and Octus' seat. "What are they saying?"
City of Heavenly FireAlec closed the door behind him gently, hoping it was enough to keep Jace asleep in the Infirmary. The blonde haired, yellow eyed, golden skinned shadowhunter claimed he was feeling a lot better, however the silent brothers thought it would be best if he kept it easy for another day or two until they could figure out how safe it would be for him to be up and walking, considering the fact he was filled with heavenly fire, and essentially a human bomb. Not that he minded being waited on hand and foot by his adoptive siblings, but he was certainly getting restless with nothing to kill. Luckily Clary was now able to sneak into his room on a daily basis; it wasn't that Alec wasn't pleased about this, nothing made Jace happier than Clary, but it meant that he wasn't needed anymore. Not that Jace had ever really needed him. So with no more Magnus Alec had spent the last couple of days moping around the library, searching through books to find a way of catching Sebastian.City of Heavenly Fire2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

Twist of Fate
It had been a pretty normal day so far for Simon, well, as normal as a day for the one and only Daylighter vampire could be. Jordan and Maia were spending some time together, so Simon was on his way to Clary's, for lack of anything better to do. He figured it would be a perfectly normal walk. Looking back on it, Simon wondered how he had been so naïve.
"Daylighter," purred a cool, unfamiliar female voice from an ally as he passed. He paused and looked down the ally. In the darkness a strange creature stood, watching him with golden eyes. It looked a bit like a woman at
Across the Realms-Chapter 1: Date Night"I've missed date night." I grinned, reaching out and snagging Alec with my arm to pull him closer.Across the Realms-Chapter 1: Date Night2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
He smiled a little and settled into my side as we walked, "I have to. Well. I've missed it when it's successful." I felt his elbow jab playfully into my side.
"Hey, I didn't know you'd be allergic to those flowers! Are you going to hold that date against me forever?"
"Potentially. I mean, it was our first date."
"Personally, I don't count that as our first date. I count that little Italian Restaurant downtown as our first date because that was the first time we went out after you came out to your parents."
"And because you didn't nearly kill me with plant life that time."
"I just can't win, can I?" I threw my arms up dramatically, scattering a group of pigeons from a near by ledge.
"Not on this."
"So stubborn." I poked him in the side and laughed as he jumped nearly off of the sidewalk and into the street. "You're so sensitive."
"I'm a demon hu
