Also, just a reminder that following the SRU Facebook page is the easiest way to be updated on every new piece of art, work-in-progress sketches, and previews of chapters as I write them.
I know there's a lot more of you than I hear from, so I just want to take a moment to thank all of you people I know are taking the time to read. Even if you don't leave a comment, I still am grateful you're still with me. After this chapter there's fifteen more to go until the story is over!

Chapter 85 - Penguin

"Have a good walk with the mutt?"
"Hey, Bolin. Yea...It was good," Korra confirmed, wandering into the parlor, still dressed in her boots and jacket.
"Yarr-Yarrp! Yarr! Grrrrr..."
"Haha," Korra looked down at the pup, still att
Remember AR TG part 5 Once at home I was really hungry and happy that we left the park. Then at that moment my belly began to growl. It was so loud that Samantha could hear it, it was so embarrassing. I flushed red at the noise my stomach made; Samantha held me up in front of her and said, "Are you hungry?" I shook my head saying no even though I knew I was. She grinned and said, "Are you sure?" I began to weigh the consequences and began to hesitate. That's when I lost control I shook my head no again and tried to push myself to her breast's as close as I could. She giggled and separated me from her; why would she do that there was no reason to it and for some reason I could not comprehend why she did so. I began sniffling a little but when I saw her taking off her shirt I stopped. After she was done undoing her bra she picked me up and held me close enough for me to latch on.Remember AR TG part 52 years ago in Settings More Like This

Samantha." I tried to say it a few times till it was correct in my ears but I had no Idea how it sounded to her because it might have only sounded like baby noises, I couldn't tell the difference only that the way Samantha spoke I could understand and yet I could not talk back. That was the last thought I had before I noticed where we were. My mouth fell open with surprise we were walking through an ordinary park. But there was something off, then I noticed there were TWO sun's in the sky. Other than that it looked really normal for a park there where dogs, birds, runners and even lovers it was just like a park should be.
Out of no were this dog came running up to my buggy started licking me for some reason I found it very soothing and so I went along with it hugged its head. On the other hand Samantha was freaking out she was pulling and tugging the dog to get off. When the dog got off Samantha sta

Waking up again, I was again in another place and it felt like I was moving. When I started opening my eyes I was surprised to see green grass and trees and flowers. I wanted to go feel the grass and sit while looking at the sun like I always did when something was getting me down. I tried to stand up but something held me in place, I looked down and saw that what happened wasn't a dream. I was wearing a pink baby suit one of the dresses that I saw on the closet. My butt also felt dryer which meant that my diaper has been changed by that woman. Questions started to pop in my head like who was that woman, where I was, and what did she do on her arm. I thought I'd start with to ask her who she was when I saw her.
Other than the pink dress I saw a little seatbelt going over my sides and over my crotch and fastening over my bellybutton. I started to struggle against the restraints even though I knew that it was futile. At that moment the moving object stopped and the same wo
Persephone 500 INTROThe date is August 21st,2055, my name is Frank Johnson, and it's my 18th birthday. My house is in ashes and my folks and I are in a large bunker with a few hundred other victims of the war that this planet had been looking forward to since the Cold War. I'm in the bunk with Frisco, my best friends yellow lab. He should be with my friend and his family, but they didn't get to the shelter in time. Frisco had been at the groomers, of all places, and they heard the alarm early enough to come. As I'm falling asleep with my arm around his thick neck, I see two men in some sort of armed forces uniform enter the thick metal doors. I've seen them a lot these last few months, they're building a crew of people to colonize Persephone, this planet's last hope. It's a moon in the Hadean galaxy, and is supposed to be enough like Earth to sustain human life, but no one wants to leave their homes to some alien rock a thousand light years away. I drew my eyelids apart slowly, feeling as if they'd been sewn together, and stared at four red numbers. They indicated that it was noon, not that I understood that before I'd been staring for a minute or so. My head felt as if it had been stuffed with cotton, but the spider webs cleared as I heard people cheering down the hall. I pushed myself up out of the compartment I'd been sleeping in for three months, and found myself running toward the sound. I recognized my father first, who had Frisco beside him, and I ran to him with wide eyes.
He just grinned and set his wide hands on my shoulders, saying with excitement and joy, "Son,we have landed!" At that moment my heart sunk in fear, yet speed in excitement as I ran to the nearest window. Looking around avidly, I barely registered that the yellow lab had gone after me, and ignored him as I recognized that we had landed in a jungle, though the colors were strange. The trees and what seemed to be grasses were all s

"Because, every word that comes out of your mouth is a lie!" she yelled again.
"Why do you always make me out to be this terrible person?" was his reply back to her.
"YOU ARE ONE THAT'S WHY!"
"OH MY FUCKING GOD! ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" he yelled back.
"No I'm not fucking kidding you." Jean said in a monotone voice.
"Why are you so calm all of a sudden?" Aden asked.
"I'm tired, I'm just done Aden." She sighed into the phone. "I'm done with you and all of your lies."
"Jean please don't do this." He begged her.
"I have to let you go and move on now." She said reluctantly as tears filled her eyes. She didn't want to really let this man she had secretly loved for so long, go. But she knew she had to break her own heart before he could break if for her. "I have to go now." She said in a rush and hung up without saying good-bye.

Since the hour you vomited forth
From the gaping wound of a woman,
You have done nothing but drown mens' soaring desires
In a deluge of sanctimonious morality
Your pain on the cross was but a splinter

I will drive deeper the thorns into your rancid carcass,
You profaner of the Ancient Gods
I will never bow before you!

America was tending to his spice garden which was sadly beginning to wilt and die. In fact, his whole house was beginning to drastically fall apart. The air conditioning was in need of fixing, his stove kept catching on fire, and all the water pipes were rusting. Unfortunately, the current recession he was going through prevented him from fixing all of these things.
Lately, he had spent the days by himself. Lithuania had matters to deal with in Russia's house and England was too busy to be bothered. America hadn't given an "I'll be the hero" speech in weeks. With a frustrated sigh, he walked into his large kitchen that he never used and opened the refrigerator. Inside were many left over Big Macs from the night before, and next to those was a large bottle a wine that was a pick-me-up gift from France. America knew his brothers always tried to be somewhat nice to him when he was in debt, but he couldn't help but feel like they pitied him.

Ala MoanaHow I loved this place. I sat at a little round table by the railing of the top floor of the Ala Moana Center, Honolulu's open air shopping center, a latte before me, looking down at the shoppers below me on the interior promenade.Ala Moana1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
I came here as often as possible, usually with a book, which gave me the option of reading or people watching, as the mood took me. On this particular day, I picked up my book, opened it to the marked page, and within seconds was deep in the latest exploits of Jack Reacher, my favorite hero of the moment.
I was dragged back to reality when the chair opposite me scraped across the concrete floor, I looked up and Jack Reacher faded away, for sitting down was a girl with a beautiful, wide-lipped face, long red hair and emerald green eyes that seemed to flash as she looked across at me and nodded.
Oh shit, I thought to myself, please not a hooker. Hookers were known to frequent this level of the shopping center from time to time, but usually accosted men. Was sh

Listening to the voice of his potential new boss as he read off his application, Alex Stryker shifted in his seat and straightened his back a bit. Trying his hardest not to adjust the clip-on tie on his neck, he let his eyes wander a bit, looking around at all the stuff in the room. Boxes of comics, both new and old, stood stacked near the walls. From a number of them, he could catch the very familiar scent of comics that were yellowing and aging.
“So, Alex, what can you offer me as an employee of this shop?” asked the person interviewing him.
“I'm not sure yet,” Alex replied. His voice was one of those that would have sounded right at home on a talk radio station. Deep and clear. Thinking the initial answer sounded stupid, he continued on. “but I'll offer everything I can provide. Food and drinks if that's what it takes.”
The final remark got the perso
LAVENDER TOWN: Chapter 9During this past weekend and the Monday following it, I spent most of the time by myself sulking after what I'd experienced with Chris. I locked myself in my room. I barely ate. I didn't talk to a soul. I'll be the first to admit that it's not exactly healthy behavior. In fact, I would go so far as to say that my extreme response to Chris' actions, which were practically harmless in nature, surprised even me. Yes, I can't even believe I reacted like that.LAVENDER TOWN: Chapter 94 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

I'm kind of embarrassed to still be dwelling on it. Is this normal? I don't know. I've never known anyone else in a situation like mine. Although, I would imagine that even if I did, they'd be putting in just as much of an effort to keep i
LAVENDER TOWN: Chapter 8I didn't see or hear from Amanda all weekend, following that day. I tried calling her on Sunday as well, but most times the phone just rang and rang. Even when I did speak to a human at long last, it sounded like it was just her mother or something. She just told me that Amanda couldn't come to the phone at the moment. She then told me she'd let Amanda know to call back, but I never did hear back. I don't know if that means she was never told, or if she never bothered to get back to me.
I can't help but worry that this is my fault somehow. Was it something I did? Did I bring her some sort of misery? Is she suddenly regretting that she ever initiated a relationship with me or something?

There's no denying it. I really care about her like no one else I've ever cared for. She makes me happy in ways I've never been. Furthermore, and most impressively, she never pisses me off. Plus, after our first and only kiss a few weeks ago, I can't help but notice that she really is quite pretty.
But have I always felt this way?
It's funny. We've been a couple for two weeks, but I've only really known her for three. We don't exactly have a long history together. So why I can't remember whether or not I thought she was pretty before then is a mystery to me.

The florescent lights gave off its daily flicker, halting Vincents hand motion until the lights wigging came to a steady stop. He looked up and smirked, placing the 8 of diamonds over the 9 of spades.
Just like clock work, Vincent muttered, brushing back his slick gelled dirty blond hair as he searched through his deck for the next usable card, gunning for a win at his game of Solitaire with only going through the shuffled deck 5 times tonight, 7 being his record. When crime wasnt as much of a problem in a quiet woodland town you had to come up with your own entertainment to pass the time until the end of your shift. Gloria had an ample amount of romance books to keep her company while Terry brought his portable DVD player, his action and horror shows to keep him warm in the night. It was cold. Colder than most people can remember. The glass in the streets cracked with the impurity of water, either by absorption or condensation. Spit, if spat right, would come out the mouth as a liquid and land as a droplet of ice. The pavement and roads were covered in snow and ice making the going incredibly slippery. This has lead to the breaking of more than one bone in more than one person. Everyone had retreated to the sanctity of their houses, either lounging in front of the fire, warm socks firmly on feet, or cowering in bed waiting for the fierce wind to cease its bite and release the city from the jaws of cold. The atmosphere in the streets was still, like someone had pressed pause and the scene has frozen. It was broken only by the sporadic snowflakes, and the slow shuffling of the nights only visitor.
She crawled along slowly, making progress that insulted a snail. Her skin was paler than paper and frozen from frost. Her hair, once a magnificent b

I cant believe that I did that. That Im still doing it. I suppose by popular standards, its not what one would call a passionate kiss. Its pretty much just my lips touching hers. However, its not exactly unpleasant either. I just cant seem to stop. Neither does she.
Ever since the other day when she kissed me on the cheek, I suspected that she might be gay. And whatever. Shed already done so much for me; I wasnt going to sell her short on account of something as petty as that. Especially not on some blind assumption. But then when I was over at Lavies place last night, I did overhear her and her grandma talking to each other. Her grandma seemed to believe I was her latest conquest or something. Earlier that morning
The morning sun made its way over the tips of the trees, its rays cascading over the rippling stream of the river. A thin mist began to disperse, clearing to better view the rivers trail up a mountainous valley, supported by a valley of pine and firs. All manner of wildlife began to stir in favor of the new day. One creature was already active, bathing in the cold waters of the rushing river.
Patricia broke through the waters surface, gasping for air while she laughed. She paddled against the current to keep her balance, not to be taken adrift from the rivers speed. Wiping off the droplets from her bare shoulders she looked towards the sky, gazing towards the morning sun with a smile. She closed her eyes and inhaled, letting bristling warmth swell inside her.
Her throat tightened, an unmistakable urge begg

A young woman was walking through the forest towards her house, blissfully unaware of the potential danger she was in. A silver pair of eyes was watching her every move. A hiss echoed from the branches above the woman. Startled, she looked up and saw nothing but autumn leaves in the branches overhead. The creature overhead had hidden behind the trunk of the tree as not to alarm her. The forest was too open, too free, and not safe enough for attack. The creature made a note to ambush her in her own house.
The young lady arrived at home and quickly made for the shower, the creature snuck in and moved around to her bedroom. The bedroom was dark and the shadows hid the creature wondrously. The shower flow stopped and the creature got ready for another meal. The door opened and strangely the woman did not turn on the lights in her room. Instead, she dried herself in the dark.
Fully nude, the woman jumped on her bed, narrowly missing the creature hiding behind the book

Anna smiled as I fell and she opened her mouth to let me see the cavernous maw. I did nothing on the way down and I felt Annas hot breath on my face. Anna suddenly flew forwards and I saw a blur of silver hair and light purple tail. A hand caught me and it belonged to Crisis. I sighed in relief and lay back. Anna had been tackled, quite spectacularly, by Vivian. They now fought on the ground and Vivian held down Anna until it passed.
This happens to Anna quite a few times a week. Her predatory instincts break free and ravage rampant. Crisis explains. It came now because it hasnt for a while and there are lots of people that Anna cant eat. Her instincts are going mad. I nod. The struggling stops then Anna groans as her head hurts.
