Dana huffed in and out as she ran down the street with her black backpack bouncing up and down against her back. Her short boyish brown hair was moving slightly with the wind rushing against her face, as her blue eyes darted back and forth looking for any infected monsters and at her watch attached to her wrist. She would be late to school soon. She quickly jumped over a rusty, broken old taxi that had crashed to a street light about a few weeks ago. She looked at her watch a second time, her little gray watch shined in the rare sunlight beaming
Don't Fall Asleep On MeMalik furiously dodged the sliver blade as it dashed toward his neck and stabbed the Templar's gut and withdrew his bloody sword. He watched as more Templars circled around him and was getting weary of fighting them all. His brown eyes scanned the brick wall to see his younger brother, Kadar, hop over a wall after another. Swinging from the low lit heat lamps form the ceiling. Trying to reach the Apple of Eden across the other side of the giant wall. Malik attention turned back to another Templar as it drew out its sword. Malik watched as it charged forward and he easily moved out of the way and sweeped the fool and stabbed him while he was down. Malik, the trained assassin he was, easily took more of them down but was reaching his limit. More and more Templar's were coming and it was all because of Altair. Altair foolishly tried a direct attack on the Leader of the Templars and failed at doing so. And just like that he left them to defend themselves. Malik ears perked up as he heard aDon't Fall Asleep On Me2 years ago in Drama More Like This

"ZEUS!" Dana yelled as she watched him growl in pain. She saw a silver blade stab threw his stomach and a black liquid pour out of his stomach. "These stupid Blackwatch." He snarled as he turned his arm into a blade and cut off the head of former Blackwatch member. She watched as blood shot out of the neck and the head falling out of the sky, cracking its head open on the blood stained sidewalk, letting out more of its red color. Dana covered her eyes at the gruesome site and felt like she was gonna puke. She felt her knees wobble as she loaded her gun and aimed it at other Blackwatchsoldiers, surrounding them. She watched in terror as she saw them lift up their machine guns and bazookas, knowing that all were aiming at them.
She felt beads of sweat form on her brow as she felt her hands feel slippery, she felt she was gonna drop the gun onto the floor.
"Dana....Be strong. I got you covered. Shoot for your life." He muttered as he got into a defensive stance in fro

Dana rubbed the sides of her temples as she stared at the computer, for the last 12 hours. She sighed as she rested her hand against her cheek. She kept on scrolling down to read the documents from Blacklight. Dana glared at the screen. "Nothing interesting in here that can help," she sighed as she leaned back against the seat and rubbed her head tiredly. "God I need to breathe." She mumbled as she turned off the laptop and spinned around in her spinning chair. She let her red sneakers drop to the cold, cracked ground as she stopped to gaze at the gray room. She scanned the cracked walls, the facts, maps, and pictures on them and the dried up blood splatter on the wall from previous Blacklight soldiers. She pulled her short brown hair back as she took in deep breaths. She felt cluster phobic, somehow the room felt cramped. She quickly jolted out of her seat as her feet sprang from the ground and dashed toward the old door. She let her fingers coil around the cold do

"I'm sorry, sir."
The historian and engineer teacher sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Take you seat, Mr. Miles."
"Yes sir " he mumbled.
He took his seat next to his friends Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings. "Second time this week, Desmond, and its only Thursday," Rebecca teased.
Desmond sighed. "Ezio and Altiar have me cramming for something called the Brotherhood, I think it's a family thing."
Shaun shrugged. "Well all you missed was the fascinating history of The Cold War, mostly just America's part."
"You three, quiet."
"Yes, sir," all three of them said at once.
"That's your homework for the night, get it done of detention for all of you."
The students just mumbled knowing that groaning would only get them either more homework or a check on their term work. "Mr. Miles, may I talk to you?" Mr. Malik asked.

What Malik Left BehindMalik sat in the Assassin's Bureau, twirling the end of a feather in his only one hand. The dried blood sat uncomfortably on the tips of the once bird feather. He could feel a breeze, but it was warm and not very refreshing. The memory he was repeating was clear as crystal water on a summer day. All the screaming. Altair being thrown out. The crusaders. Kadar. What Malik Left Behind4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Malik gripped the feather tighter, causing it to snap and flutter to the floor. He slammed a fist on the desk where his map lay as the feather so delicately hit the floor. His fingers dug into the palm of his hand and he found himself trembling. He squeezed his eyes shut and breathed in.
No, he was okay.
With this he lifted his head, waiting for the bells to chime that Altair had completed his job. The sleeve where Malik's other arm was supposed to be danced lightly with the breeze that ruffled his hair. He stared at the sky, watching the clouds being pushed slowly by the wind. Malik cleared his throat, finally hearing that same

There were days when Desmond didn't know what was worse: being strapped to a weird machine that could read his genetic code or constantly being tossed into the air by Alex whenever they needed to make a quick getaway.
It was funny how Desmond's life soon revolved around nothing, but apples, however the most important apple of his eye was neither golden nor all-powerful alright, maybe Alex was all-powerful, if he managed to get nuked and survive it.
Perhaps it was the bartender's inflection that suddenly did him in, but Alex had no troubles pouring his heart out after some good rum and company.
Somehow, they managed to leave New York to visit Desmond's friend out west, only to discover to their great horror that the town was utterly infested with zombies, mutant dogs and bugs really huge bugs; Alex vaguely mentioned while throwing a zombie away from Desmond

Malik shuddered. It wouldn't be long until those damned Europeans were upon them, waging war for an unjust cause. How many more innocents will die before the week's end? He slammed his fist down in anger. The sound echoed throughout the empty room. It was too quiet.
There was a crash of thunder outside. Malik started.
"Rain? In Jerusalem?" he wondered aloud.
Suddenly a voice came from the shadows behind him.
"Rain foretells doom."
Malik whipped around to face the shadows. All he could make out in the darkness were golden eyes, as cold as stone.
He growled. "Altaïr...What business have you in Jerusalem on a night like this?"
The assassin stepped out of the shadows, his face hidden within his hood. His left arm hung down by his side, revealing a blade dripping with blood.
Malik suddenly realized that the room

Siren must have flown day and night before she began to descend. Altair had been drifting in and out of conscious for most of the night and by the time the sun began to raise, his neck and back ached from the constant jostle from when the girl would back or increase her altitude.
The assassin looked over his shoulder as Siren lowered more and more in the sky, and noticed that were over another city. The buildings weren't as large as in New York, and the teen lightened down on one of the tallest of them. From the roof's door burst a small centaury of soldiers who were dressed in all white instead of black like the grunts back in New York.
When Altair looked at them with his eagle vision, he saw they were members of the Templars even if they didn't have the blood red cross anywhere on their uniforms. From the middle of the formation came an elder man dressed in a lab coat and brown slacks. He wore glasses, had a beard, and displayed a ca

SIX: The Siren's Confession
Another week and a half passed, and Alex would disappear again and again, only re-appearing once every other day or so to relay information to Dana or rest. But with each visit he always sat with Altair on the building's edge and talked with him. Even if it was only about half an hour of interaction, both men seemed to enjoy each other's company more and more as the days went on. Soon they knew a lot about one another, and were completely aware of the other's situation before the present dilemma.
After Dana had showed Altair how to use the internet, he used her laptop almost constantly when she was using the main computer to hack information about Blackwatch.
He was amazed with the devise, seeing an entire book's worth of information in just one website. Hours would pass as he read about the 800 years he had skipped over. Sadly, a lot of it sickened him. War, poverty, and disease still ravage many parts of the globe. But on the flip side, there were amazing

Alex had been awake all night. It was the constant screams and chattering voices that filled his head with every consumed individual, military and civilian alike. But it seemed that now that the virus inhabited his body, it was like he didn't need sleep. Not since he'd woken up in the morgue.
He wondered about what he heard from the military guards. Unexplained electrical currents had knocked out their virus detection equipment, and he was able to sneak right into a base and get some higher knowledge of weapons and plans for retaliation.
After that he decided to return to the safe house to make sure the stranger hadn't gotten violent with Dana or ran off.
When he began to see sunlight peek into the window shades he decide to get up and check on the man who had called himself Altair the night before. He opened his door as quietly as he could, and tip toed into the living room. As he stepped over the man's clothing and weapons, he saw that Altair was still sleeping o

A few more days passed and Alex had still not returned. Altair was beginning to find different ways to fill his time besides just watching TV. But the only show he seemed interested in was Loony Tunes and when it wasn't airing, he was either exercising with his weapons and armor on, or learning slang terms and more English from Dana.
After about a day he could speak it as if it was his first language. The girl also taught him more about common things in the modern era such as movies, video games, and music.
By the 6th day however, he had become so cooped up that he was determined to go outside.
"Please Dana," he practically pleaded which was something he never did, "Just for a short while. I won't even leave the roof."
Dana sighed and seeing as the assassin had been at this for a little under an hour, he probably wasn't going to stop till he got what he wanted. "Fine," she said pinching the bridge of her nose, "But you stay close." God she felt like Altair's fuckin

Lowering his hand, reality slowly crept back as he took in his surroundings, thinking his whole encounter with the black 'demon' was just a dream. But this was not the Assassin's bureau, and he wasn't lying on the familiar firm ground that was blanketed with rugs and plush pillows. He slipped his hood off to get a better look around and nothing short of confused. There a low table next to where he was lying, a few bookshelves lined the far wall, and a desk of some sorts supported a white panel that glowed a matching light like the sun.
"What in the name of Allah?" he slurred in Arabic before his ears began to pick up voices from down the hallway that was just to his left.

Altiar was defiantly the weirdest men Alex Mercer had ever met.
That was one of the first things Alex mercer found out about he assassin; though if he'd had his way he wouldn't have known anything at all because he wouldn't have taken the man into their hideout; it was Dana; his younger sister, who convinced him to help the other.
When they first met Altair he was wearing strange clothing he was severely wounded and was unconscious, Dana had insisted Alex carry the injured man to Ragland to be fixed up; she had a much kinder heart that Alex ever had and grudgingly he obeyed his sister, if only so they could get a few answers later.
Ragland had a hard time talking off the others outfit having seen nothing like it before, it seemed underneath every layer of cloth, there was a new weapon hiding underneath; a longsword a short sword, hidden throwing knives are just a sample of Altair's arsenal but what shocked the three of them, was the

I stared up from the book Id been reading with cold steel knot in my belly by the hour to see a ghost of a man standing in the doorway, leaning on the side with one shaking arm. The man was more scarecrow than human, the once vigorous frame racked with pain and wounds I could only imagine. And I had a share of my own too. The left arm still wanted acknowledgment of its ghostly existence. But the once empty place in my heart, where my brother had dwelt until his death, battered, sore, was now again filled. The walking corpse in the doorway to my chambers filled that void. It was Altair.
Out of a ravaged pale sunken face eyes gleamed like twin fires of the night watch, two black dots that sparkled with life where every other part of him was shrivelled. I heard the wheeze of his breathing, saw him lean and limp inside pulling the door closed behind him. Altair, once the man I hated above all for a few months. Now a month after the t

Chapter 5- Reconnaissance
Ever since the incident with Altair's weapons, the younger man had been more at ease and seemed more relaxed now that every time Alex went out on reconnaissance; he would allow Altiar to accompany him (Much to Dana's surprise; after all it was odd that Alex was trusting the other enough to actually 'hang out' with him after all supposed 'dislike' Alex had had against the other) and would jump from building to building carrying the younger assassin.
The mental image alone about this scene was comical enough but imagine Altair's frightened face the first few times Alex jumped around with the man in his arms and it gets downright hilarious. Altiar had known of course, that Alex wasn't human and other than changing his hands into claws he didn't know the full extent of the others abilities but it seemed jumping really fucking high was to be added to that list.
Once Altair got used to Alex's way of getting around he relaxed and even started to en

"How may I help you, Brother Altair?" Malik's calm voice sent shivers down Altair's spine.
"I'm so sorry....." Altair whimpered out. His voice was barely audible to himself, let alone Malik.

Altair looked at the horizon of Jerusalem with a soft sigh, the view from the roof of the mosque was beautiful, the golden sun shined down on the crowded city, bathing it in a light that was warm and pure...but Altair felt anything but warm.
His golden eyes flicked downwards as he watched the people below go about their daily lives so naïve of the war they were in the middle of...the assassin almost wished he were that naïve, that free. The golden eyed male frowned softly and shook his head at such thoughts; no, he had been born into the brotherhood, he had been born to be raised as and assassin to uphold the laws of the Creed.
Something he had already failed at.
The former master assassin brushed his fingers over his eyes as if trying to rub away sleep; the hood didn't reveal the weary look in his eyes, the tiredness he felt; he may have been spared death by Al Maulim, but in all honesty the demoted assassin wished he was dead already; and if he felt

EIGHT: Escape and Rescue
After about an hour, Siren and Altair had drawn out a plan to escape. It wasn't 100% full prove, but it was something to work with. The girl really had no boundaries as far as where she could go in the Abstergo facility. She began to tell Altair about before they had made her a prisoner. How she had apparently been a willing mercenary for them. She would track down Assassin HQ's and would trace hackers, seeing it as strictly business.
That all changed when Vedic had revealed the Templar's master plan for the pieces of Eden she turned on them and had to make with the trouble of explaining to the leader in the Assassin's Brother that she wanted to become a double agent.
Of course the Templars became suspicious of her when she was not around as much, and out of fear of being caught, she made up a story about how she was tracking rough mercenaries for extra money. They did not buy it, and put the girl on 24 hours watch as well as planted tracking devised in both th
