It's been six years since I've seen you. I miss you. George is doing ok I guess, he puts on a brave face for me and little Freddy, but he seems so distant. I think since your death he has only been half of a person, like he lost half his soul. He still has nightmares, he thrashes around moaning your name until I wake him up. Then he apologizes and goes into the bathroom. I know what he does in there, he stares at his face in the mirror and sees you looking back. I know he can't stand it, having to be reminded of you all the time.
He walks to visit you every morning, sometimes before I wake up, sometimes he takes Freddy with him. Freddy is about four now so when he comes home he tells me all the funny pranks Daddy and Uncle Fred used to do together. Once when Freddy was very little and we all went as a family, he asked George why we didn't just take you home so we could be together all the time. George asked me to take Freddy home, and he didn't come back all day. When he did

Fred & George: A Short Character Analysis
Right, so first off I'm a big fan of the twins: both twins, not just Fred. I've always appreciated both as separate characters and I've never really understood how so many people never picked up on their differences. So I decided to do what I do best - RANT (wayhey!). Keep in mind this is just my own opinion based on what I've read in books 1-7.
In the first place it's important to know and understand the twins' differences, especially if you're writing a story that puts particular focus on them. Yes, both twins are bonkers, fun-loving, flirtatious, stubborn and lest we forget both in the possession of a razor sharp wit. The books may describe them as identical right down to the last freckle, but this doesn't mean that they are one hundred percent identical in personality - no twins are. In fact, if Fred and George were the same they wouldn't make such a good team. Fred and George are a perfect double act and in any double act you

Mum suggested I write you this letter, told me it would make me feel better. I don't see how because you can't see it and I won't get to see your reaction to it, but I don't have anything to lose, so here we are.
It's been a year since you died. Everything is still the same, but somehow, it feels different. The joke shop is still as strong as it was with you here. Ron is helping me out but the little git doesn't appreciate my jokes and ideas as much as you did.
I miss you so much, Fred. I keep thinking about how I never got to say my final good-bye to you and tell you how much I love you. I do love you. I hope you knew that even though we never said it much to each other. Or anyone else.
I'm struggling. I'm not going to lie to you, Fred. I pretend like I am okay, I laugh, I joke around, but my heart is still hurting. I want to hug you, pull pranks with on Ron and Hermione when they start snogging, to hear you again. I pray every night hoping your having fun with Tonks, encour
Rose- ScorpiusRose flipped the pages of her book absentmindedly as she sat at a table in the far corner of the library. She was tucked between various shelves, hidden from the view of the hawk-eyed librarian, Madame Pince. Her stomach growled and she closed her book, sighing. Now, leaning back in her chair she let her hair fall out behind her. The bushy curls of her mother combined with the flaming red locks of her father always left quite an impression. But now, with no one around to see them, they merely hung there like hair often does. Rose sat forward on her chair and rest her head on her arms. She closed her eyes and waited a few more minutes before she felt arms snake around her from behind. She jumped slightly and turned around in her seat.
"What?" The boy who stood behind her now raised an eyebrow, "Were you expecting someone else?" H

He noticed how it came up to her shoulders, and was a fierce red. He noticed the way she tucked it behind her ears when she was studying. He noticed the way her auburn curls bounced as she walked.

He noticed how she studied in the library nearly every night. He noticed how when a test loomed, she barely ever left the library. He noticed that however much she studied, he always exceeded her score.

In Scorpius Malfoy's third year at Hogwarts, he noticed Rose Weasley's temper.
He noticed how many simple things angered her, like people bullying first years, and him calling her Rosie. He noticed how when she was angry, she would put one hand on her hip, and point at the person who had made her angry. He noticed how nearly everything he did anger
A Ghost and a BurdenPetunia Dursley sat alone on her bed and surveyed her bedroom. She had lived in this house for 20 years. This was the first house that she had bought with her husband. The house where her son had grown up into a young man. The house where 16 long years ago, she was told by a wizard, that her only sister had been murdered. Petunia never cried. Not until that day anyway. She was careful to stay in her usual stony faced posture around her husband, but when he had left the house, she broke down. She couldn't block out the image of those perfect emerald eyes. How she had tormented her about what she was. Maybe thats why she seemed to hate her nephew. Those eyes. An exact copy of her beloved sisters. When she glanced into them, a wave of guilt would wash over and drown her. Pure guilt.A Ghost and a Burden2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This

Through A Mothers EyesIt all started almost 7 years ago, when my youngest son left for Hogwarts. I knew nothing would be the same again. After his first year, he would rant for hours about his newfound friendship with a 'bossy know-it-all' girl. But behind his annoyance filled eyes, something had appeared, like a flower starting to bloom.Through A Mothers Eyes2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
He fought against his growing feelings for a bushy haired girl as the years slowly passed by. She soon integrated herself into our family, becoming a sister to Ginny and a daughter to me. I continued to look upon their blossoming love and the constant childish bickering, as an act of covering up their feelings. The year of the Yule Ball came, and I prayed that this would be the time that they finally joined together, but it in fact drifted them further apart, and my heart broke for dream that would never come true. Last year, Harry wrote to me and told me about Ron's grilfriend. My eyes welled up at the thought of Hermione's broken heart and part of it being lost with him.

Spinner´s End, Cokeworth, Northern England.
Severus put down the book and puffed heavily. It was the sixth time the bloody doorbell had rung.
Probably the teenage delinquents who were in the inconvenient habit of roaming Spinner´s End on occasion. During the past few years, they had been coming over to that abandoned part of town whenever they felt bored or were being chased by the police. As a matter of fact, with the street´s alarming state of decay, most of its houses deserted, it was rather surprising that the juvenile gangster-hopefuls didn´t come around to "visit" more often.
Spinner´s End was after all a perfect hiding place...Nobody better than Severus knew that...
But the fact was that Spinner´s End was ruined to such a degree that not even those little punks took a more than passing interest in it. Sometimes they entered an abandoned house to smoke, played some loud music (that is, if that godawful cacophony could be call

Severus didn´t want a child.
And yet...here it was...
Severus approached the cradle with feather light footsteps. It was a simple but elegant piece of furniture, made out of heavy and dark oak wood...an heirloom of Evelyn´s family, that her mother had insisted on giving them. A wealth of delicate white and blue covers and a veil of rich Irish lace protected it´s tiny occupant from the late October chill.
His long fingers drew back the covers to reveal the child to his sleep deprived eyes. A child who was no more than an hour old. A child that wasn´t expected. A mistake that shouldn´t have happened, as far as his father had been concerned.
He didn´t want a child...
Most people take parental instinct for granted...They imagine it´s only natural for parents to love their children. It just happened...But Severus knew better...In fact he knew from experience that it just wasn´t that simple...Nowhere near that simple...

My heart burns with all the flames from Hell
So deeply, you can see her

George had his eyes closed. He had decided that if he didn't look, he'd wouldn't get overwhelmed with emotion. But He soon came to realise that this wouldn't help. He could still sense Fred in his room. "Damn." George said under his breath as he slowly opened his eyes. A single tear left the corner his right eye. He didn't wipe it away. He just let it slide down the side of his face and roll off his chin.
"Where to start?" George looked around the small, crooked room. He walked over to the window that separates the two single beds and opened it. Only a crack. Fred hated it open all the way. Brought in a breeze, he'd say. "Maybe that'll bring the heat down."

I open at the close,
When It all began,
I had dreams of a distant land,
When the first word fell off the page,
I knew I was in this place,
Hogwarts was my second home,
I carried in a paperback book,
Everytime I got homesick,
I always took a look,
Nothing can ever compare,
To the books the movies,
And the potter wear,
I grew up with emma,
Daniel and Rupert,
Even Tom too,
We were all children when this began,
I know they cry as they leave this land,
Because whether actor or reader,
Hogwarts was a place,
Where when in need,
Help is what you received,
Dumbledore was my teacher,
And sirius my godfather,
Harry was my brother,
And I felt i knew him like no other,
This is not obsession,
Not a passing phase,
This is my childhood,
To the good old days,
Anticipation will never mount,
As high for another book or movie,
But harry potter will be in my heart,
It can't be removed you see,
And even though I can wear,
A dark mark with pride,
Dumbledores Army will be by my side,

We always caused trouble and together made it double, we were a packaged deal to the end of time. Fred you weren't my brother, you weren't my twin. No you weren't either of those, because you were my other half a part of me that I lost.

It had been a long hot day. James's hair stuck to the back of his neck as he walked down the path to the gate in front of his parent's cottage. He leaned over it, sighing, as there was no sign of life moving along the dirt road. The wind was picking up now, rolling across the field that bordered the road, rippling it as though it were a great golden ocean. Dark clouds were appearing on the horizon, framing the gold with dark blue. James looked over into Mrs. Wittle's yard, where the well endowed Mrs. Wittle herself was hastily pulling down her laundry in anticipation of the impending storm. She glanced at the clouds worryingly as she pulled down her last pair of pinstriped knickers, catching James in her eyesight and waving. James waved back, watching as she turned and collected her lawn gnomes and took them inside with her. James turned his attention back to the road, ruffling his hair in the wind. No sign of Sirius yet, but his excitement was mounting as the clouds approached. The da

It's been a fair few years since I've seen you and the others from the team. It'd be nice if we all met up to catch up with each other. So, if you'd like to meet up, come to the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade on the 16th. I know Harry and Angelina are definitely coming, so it'd be nice if you did. Hopefully, I'll see you there.
I stared blankly at the letter for a few moments. This is just like Oliver, trying to get the old Quidditch team together. But, not everyone would be there. There would definitely be one person missing. Fred. It'd been five years since he had been killed, and each day seemed lonelier than the last without him. Fred had been my twin, best friend, and partner in crime. He had run the joke shop with me, but I now ran it by myself, since Ron had stopped working there. I missed Fred, more than anyone else.
I decided that I would go to the Three Broomsticks to meet up with everyone. It would be nice to see everyone aga

I am sick and tired of hearing about this Harry Potter versus Twilight thing. The books and authors have nothing in common, except that they are well known and quite popular amongst many people. However even then it is stupid to compare the two. I first saw this comparison when they set up a section in our school library with a board that said If you love Stephenie Meyer, youll love and had a bunch of retarded vampire books underneath (All retarded but with the exception of Vampirates. Theyre vampire pirates. How much more awesome can you get?). There was a newspaper clipping of an article calling Meyer the new J.K. Rowling. By that time I had already read the three books that were out and I was like WUT?! I thought that the Twilight books were good but very overall mediocre and completely different to Harry Potter in every way. Comparing them seemed absolutely ludicrous. Since then my opinion of the books has gone

I personally feel that Harry Potter is SO much better than Twilight. I started reading Harry Potter when I was in the 4th grade and I really wanted to read something. I wasnt much of a reader at all. In my search for something to read, my Language Arts teacher recommended to read Harry Potter, I went home and picked up my sisters copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. I was hooked as soon as I read Mr. and Mrs. Dursley of number 4 Privet Drive were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. I read all the books until the 5th one, which was the latest book out at the time, seeing as Half Blood Prince would be coming out that summer, I reserved my copy of HBP at the local Barnes and Noble received my copy at midnight. Since I started reading Harry Potter, I have been an avid reader.
Twilight was simply something to read post-Harry Potter.

We should have been able to touch now. He should be there, smiling, stepping towards me, wrapping his arms around me, fitting so well we were like puzzle pieces... well, we were... are.
He is my twin.
But he wasn't there, smiling at me. The only thing I saw was the back to a mirror. Shards hanging on, dangling, spinning...I cast my eyes down to the floor and saw the rest of the mirror, broken.
I looked at my hand and saw it bleeding.
With a sigh, I flicked my wand at the broken pieces, and they reformed again, fixed themselves, and the mirror was restored, as if nothing had happened.
The person in there looked downhearted, defeated... broken.
That was me.
