Fred & George: A Short Character Analysis
Right, so first off I'm a big fan of the twins: both twins, not just Fred. I've always appreciated both as separate characters and I've never really understood how so many people never picked up on their differences. So I decided to do what I do best - RANT (wayhey!). Keep in mind this is just my own opinion based on what I've read in books 1-7.
In the first place it's important to know and understand the twins' differences, especially if you're writing a story that puts particular focus on them. Yes, both twins are bonkers, fun-loving, flirtatious, stubborn and lest we forget both in the possession of a razor sharp wit. The books may describe them as identical right down to the last freckle, but this doesn't mean that they are one hundred percent identical in personality - no twins are. In fact, if Fred and George were the same they wouldn't make such a good team. Fred and George are a perfect double act and in any double act you

I heard a voice from behind me. Low, dark, cruel. "Avada Kedavra!" Please not be Dolohov's voice. A sinking feeling inside me told me it was.
I tried to focus myself back onto fighting my aunt but a nagging feeling inside me kept on reminding me that Remus has just died. Bellatrix's face was contorted into a mocking grin that confirmed my worst fear. I shot a few more spells at my aunt but the Great Hall felt like it was going to crash around me any moment now.
I couldn't give up. I have to keep fighting. Teddy needs at least one of his parents.
Suddenly, a flash of red light hit my chest. My heart felt as though it had stopped beating, but it wasn't painful. I was falling backwards and my life rushed through my eyes, specifically the last couple months I've gotten to be with Remus and Teddy. That was the best time of my life.
The moment before I hit the ground I realized what had happened: she killed me.
I only had one thought left.

Okay, so, its the summer after Order of the Phoenix and the Weasley's are having fun! The twins cause mayhem and Harry and Hermione visit. Fred and George may look the same but what happens when they disagree on something and have an argument? NO SLASH!
So um Hi! This is my first HP fic. I've only seen the films (I know, I know) but I'm working on getting the books so please be nice if I make a few little mistakes Anyway, I'm now obsessed with the Weasley twins! They're too cute!
This is set in the summer between terms after Order of the Phoenix
Chapter One: Morning
It was early morning in the Weasley household; the dawn sun poked through the threadbare curtains onto Ron's sleeping face. His eyelids twitched against the brightness and he groaned as he sat up, zombie-like, with his eyes still closed.
"Children! Breakfast's ready!" Molly Weasley's motherly tones drifted up the staircase, into Ron's room, along with the smell of sausages and slightly burnt toast. The
B is for Bat-Bogey HexGinny was flipping through the library books, searching for a hex that she could use for Lupin's assignment. It was not supposed to be harmful, but rather distract the attacker sufficiently. It could, however, be uncomfortable. Or a spell that facilitated escape. But Ginny preferred a more direct approach. They were supposed to master their spell and write an essay about its uses and disadvantages, difficulty, history, and other interesting facts about it.B is for Bat-Bogey Hex4 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
After the horror that she had endured the year before, Ginny had discovered a great interest in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Or maybe it was the way that Lupin was teaching it. Everyone agreed that you couldn't help but be interested when he was teaching. You took notes because you wanted to remember what he had said and did the assignments because you wanted to find out more of the subject.
She wanted to find a really good he

First, Finn seemed more or less shocked at the confession (though, to be fair, Kurt didn't waste time with a preamble before telling him). Then he looked thoughtful and said: "Do you mean like Rachel's family?"
That made Kurt stop short. He hadn't even thought that maybe Finn knew about Rachel's fathers. But then, when he thought about it, it did make perfect sense that Rachel told him. He was going to be marrying her one day.
"Yes," said Kurt after a long moment. "Like Rachel's family."
"Oh." Finn looked at Kurt for a long moment without blinking. "Well alright then," he said with a nod. "If that is what you are, I suppose there is no changing it."
"Really?" asked Kurt, still shocked. "You don't care?"
"Rachel's family is just fine and her fathers are like you," said Finn. "Does my mother and your father know?"
"For a while now," said Kurt. "I confess I was most nervous to tell you. I didn

In the lane
Snow is glistening
It was the brightest time of the year in Lily's opinion. Sure, the days were short and the weather cold, but in the blinding white of the snow, nearly everything looked perfect. It was this time of year that the shops of Hogsmead were glowing yellow light, with small displays of dolls, candy, new books, and cauldrons in the windows, freshly dusted and polished to rope in more customers during the heavy holiday season.
It had been six months since she had attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and a year now since she had finally fallen for James Potter. The boy in question walked beside her, cheeks glowing with a boyish quality that seemed to make him all the more attractive. Unruly black hair that Lily had learned to love was hidden beneath a knitted red and white cap, with the rest of him covered in jackets and pants and scarves and mittens and boot

"I figured I should get like a memory for all this. Y'know, like a piece of history," Ron smiled.
She sighed heavily. "What? Our faces plastered everywhere and interviews every five seconds aren't enough for you?"
Ron shook his head slightly and laughed. She didn't understand. He wasn't doing it for the memory of it. He was doing it in honor of her. Ron sat down in the chair and held out his left arm. The artist prepped his forearm and asked, "Where do you want it mate?"
"Right here," Ron said, indicating a line alongside his bright blue vein. The artist laid down the piece of paper, rubbed it firmly on his arm, and peeled it back slowly and evenly.
"But seriously? The Muggle way? I can easily do it with magic if you want it so badly! AND we wouldn't need to pay £30!" Hermione added, "Your mum is gonna kill me for allowing you to do this "

Kurt's face flushed and he pushed a strand of his hair out of his face. He had recently decided to stop dyeing his hair and let the grey take over. Blaine's curly hair was still mostly black, but he had the salt and pepper look going on on the sides.

Revealing a head full of flame - red hair and a ghostly white face, the Invisibility Cloak slid off him. His complexion was paler than normal. Dry tears marking him. It seemed as though the boy - perhaps around the age of nineteen - never stopped weeping. He finally took the cloak off and held it with a loose grasp in his shaking fist. His tall frame shivering. Pain... grief... fear... coldness... One could only hope that the boy was shivering from lack of body heat, and nothing else.
Looking around, he could not find what he needed. He needed the mirror - not just any old mirror. He needed the cruelest mirror he ever knew.

It had been a long hot day. James's hair stuck to the back of his neck as he walked down the path to the gate in front of his parent's cottage. He leaned over it, sighing, as there was no sign of life moving along the dirt road. The wind was picking up now, rolling across the field that bordered the road, rippling it as though it were a great golden ocean. Dark clouds were appearing on the horizon, framing the gold with dark blue. James looked over into Mrs. Wittle's yard, where the well endowed Mrs. Wittle herself was hastily pulling down her laundry in anticipation of the impending storm. She glanced at the clouds worryingly as she pulled down her last pair of pinstriped knickers, catching James in her eyesight and waving. James waved back, watching as she turned and collected her lawn gnomes and took them inside with her. James turned his attention back to the road, ruffling his hair in the wind. No sign of Sirius yet, but his excitement was mounting as the clouds approached. The da

I was really happy to be here, I got to admit.
