After quite some time I managed to paint a picture for children illustrator's monthly topic [link] This time it was "Night Creatures". I tried to create interesting lighting, but I think I made to many mistakes. Maybe using a reference would be a good ideaXD
This is my contribution for the contest. I was really in a rush, because I started very late (two days ago). This was done in Photoshop and Painter (mostly overpainted photos with some additional painted elements). I made a photo of my kitchen and washing machine for this and also used the stock from this contest. Working time was between 18 and 20 hours, I think.
Edit: Wow, my fourth DD! Thanks a lot to Astralseed and wdwparksgal for chosing and also thanks to all you people for your nice comments!
I painted this just a day after finishing my "bubbles" picture and it has been waiting on my desktop ever since. I love Halloween, even if it isn't really celebrated here in Germany. I wanted to keep up my tradition of uploading a new Halloween picture every September, but I knew I wouldn't find the time to paint one once my new job started, so I did this one in advance.
I really haven't had time to do any more paintings lately. I had to move to another city for my job and have been pretty busy these past days. Things will probably get even busier soon, and I didn't bring my tablet along anyway so don't expect any more pictures for a while. Sorry about that.
Hope you enjoy this one nonetheless Jeremiah
Wow, thank you very much for the DD and all your comments and favs. Happy Halloween to all of you!
This is my 2011 Halloween wallpaper. I created 10 cute classic Halloween characters and made them interact with each others in a typical trick or treat wild adventure.
Everything is crafted in loving vectors and is also released as a Halloween vector pack with pumpkins, bats and our 10 cute characters (demon girl, skeleton guy, pumpkin head, Frankenstein, Jason Voorhees 13 killer, Dracula, mummy guy, werewolf guy, witch girl, and some classic 16 bits ghosts).
