I am a whisper in the wind, i am a flower in the grass
I will always be with you in every day you pass
Please, do not cry, not with your eyes so fair
Just remember i'm always with you, no matter where
You will mourn for me, like all people might do
But just remember in your heart that i loved you
I'm afraid we will never cross again until you come with me
But, i know in your heart you will keep our memories
I will try to move on, i will try to say strong
Because i know the road i travel will be so long
I will watch you, i'll watch you from afar
May it be the rising sun or the only falling star
I know you will miss me and i'll miss you too
Just know that i was meant to forever be with you
It's getting darker now, it's starting to rise
All the light i made for you is gone from my eyes
Now, i'm slowly slipping into the dark
I can hear the sound of my slowly breaking heart
And now in this meadow, where i lie
I bid you adieu, auf wiedersehen, despedida and a special goodbye...

Drought -Vallei-The sleek-furred meerkat gave a soft sigh as she sat up on her back paws for what seemed like the hundredth time that morning. She strained her eyes around, feeling them slightly burning from the sun's heat up ahead. Her fur felt completely sizzling as she moved around to bite at a tick on her belly, before sitting back down and angrily shuffling yet again. She wished she hadn't been put on guard duty on such a hot day, but she had to keep the den safe and sound just as she was instructed.Drought -Vallei-1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This
The sun's burning rays were cascading onto her very strongly, so strong she could barely keep her eyes half-open. Part of her wanted to hide back into her den and sleep soundly until the others got back, but the mature, rather smaller, part of her told her she had to keep a lookout.
She'd wanted to go foraging with the rest, but she'd been going almost everyday, and it seemed she to tend to some other duties. Despite her nagging headache, she tried her best to keep her eyes open as much as she could.
SAVANNAH- CHAPTER 5A distance away Kamili was waiting in hunger for her mother to return with todays prey. She hid in the tall grass waiting to be greeted by her family.SAVANNAH- CHAPTER 52 years ago in Profiles More Like This
I stood there silently waiting in the tall grass for the rest of the family to come home. I could hear some one approaching our range. If it was anyone but mother I would probably end up dead. I slunk low to the ground and cowered.
"Were back!" I heard my sister Vittani shout. Out of my whole family only did she have the courtesy of greeting and giving notice to a blind cheetah like me. She ran up to me and I nodded my head in greeting. She guided me to the clearing and I heard the slam of a light carcass hit the ground. I went up to sniff it and it had Heri's scent all over it.
"Walaani! Back away! It is not your turn to eat you greedy little thing you!" hissed mother. She seemed more irritable than usual. Then again whenever I was around she could be very irritable. The antelope mother had caught had already been chewed up by Heri and

SAVANNAH-4I crept stealthily among the tall grasses and came upon open ground like yesterdays misadventure. I looked both ways for predators before crossing the Savannah, as mama always said. There was no one in sight. Just that same familiar forked tree in the distance. I jetted out from the tall grass and hurtled at full speed to the tree. It took me a minute or two to get half way across the open ground and a minute more to get to the tree. Not one huff or puff of exhaustion was let out until I got to the tree. I looked behind me and the tall grass was nearly visible in the distance. I turned forth and moved at a nice pace. From here on until the village I, could walk.SAVANNAH-42 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Once I finally arrived at said village I quietly crept around the edge of the village. I entered some tall grass and tip-pawed to the same spot I met Mischana yesterday. I sat down and got comfy. Now I wait.

"Heri, was it your Idea to do it?" asked my mother.
"Yes" replied Heri "but it was Vittani's idea to go near the humans!" blurted Heri.
"Heri, never go exploring again without mama alright? And as for you Vittani, how could you do something so foolish! That human could have killed you and if you had stuck around any longer it probably would have! Now, I was going to take you both with me to show you how I hunt but because of what you did Vittani, you are staying here. "
"Wait mom this isn't fair! How come Heri gets off so easy and I get punished?" I yelled to my mom although she already started to walk away with Heri following. Heri turned around and stuck her tongue out at me. Grrrr....

SAVANNAH prolougeAs long as 4 Million Years ago, the first cheetahs originated. A story of the beginning of their kind is handed down from mother to cub. First there were two, sent down from Mbinguni, the cheetahs word for heaven. At this time all the animals lived in harmony. They were all friends. Even if the predators needed prey, the prey wouldn't mind giving it's life to help a friend survive. It was truly peace. The two sent down were Moja and Mbili. They were the first of their kind. Moja, was a strong and caring female cheetah. Mbili, was a brave and heroic male cheetah. They both thought they were the only ones of their kind on the Savannah. The two would frolic among the tall grasses and sprawl out to relax in the sun. They had all the prey they could eat and all the water they could drink. What a horrible nightmare! she thought instantly. She looked around with the same dreaded feeling in her gut she had every morning recently.
Oh no wait... The nightmare is real.
Akita's new home had been taken from her. The place where she secretly had hidden in the shadows all her life until a few moons ago was drowned in a sea of salty death water, water that opened wounds and made them raw. Even Strelka had lost it with her, as if she wasn't even his friend, or even just an acquaintance. Even Matone, of all cheetahs , had simply padded in Strelka's path and not even turned back to look in pity at her so-called sister.
On top of that, Akita's mentor had died.
She had been waging a war that could not last any longer inside her. She had been a bold cheetah all along, it was just that living in darkness had made her a creature of camouflage, and it had given her no

After so long.Marco sat in the large window doorway that let out to a view of the lights and the sounds of cars swooshing by, his eyes lazy on the surroundings below as his tail slowly wagged and his eyes started to droop and doze into slumber, though this hushed calmness was quickly cut short by a soft knock on his door. He ignored it for a moment hoping whoever it was would not be too determined and not be anyone that was not happy with him, though with another knock on the door and a soft scratch Marco pulled himself up from his comfortable lounging spot and dragged himself to the door, whoever it was at least was not the type to knock his whole door down, so he might as well see who the persistent fellow was. After so long.4 months ago in Short Stories More Like This

Ninjacheetah said the following:
Vumbi's one remaining eye glowed emerald in the darkness as he sneaked through Crooked Tree territory. In his strong jaws, the Chief held a bundle of fur that swayed as he walked.
When Vumbi was happy with the landscape that surrounded the area, he dropped the cub from his jaws, not bothering to place it gently on the ground or catch it with his paws. It was here to train and work, not be treated like he was Chief.
"Attack me." Vumbi growled.

Chafu walked under the sparse acacia forest on the crooked rocks border, scent marking. This was the area where she usually met sunning rocks cheetahs, and she was feeling particularly excitable today. If she found one, she was just dreaming of what fighting moves she could pull on them. Good practice. She thought as she walked through the underbrush, loudly stomping down the weeds.
Nyeusi grumbled, as he walked along the boarder. His mother, brother and sister were a little bit away from where he was pacing at that moment. His mother thought it would be good to get the cubs out for a little bit, and though he didn't mind, his siblings were annoying him just a touch. He didn't think much of the boarders at the moment, his ears flattened to his head in annoyance. He did, how ever, hear loud crushing amongst the dry weeds near by. His orange eyes narrowed, as he was able to identify the scent to belong to a

Isiyo Na Kafani walked with light footing and perked ears listening for prey, his eyes slits focusing on any movement that brought itself into view under the soft light of the moon lit sky.
Uchafu sauntered in the dimly lit plains of sunning rocks. She had made it her goal to trespass successfully into the rocky territory at night. The burnt landscape was transforming into a newer and greener landscape, the ashes nourishing all the newly sprouted plants. This rendered her steps silent as she traversed under the white moonlight, and as she entered light underbrush, she smelled the fresh and near scent of a sunning rocks cheetah. She chirped hesitantly, then listened for a reply.
Kafani heard the call and moved in its direction though flattened himself down against the nearest shrubbery as a light breeze sent wind of crooked tree. He peered out and focused his eyes in on the Uchafu for a moment looking her over before deciding he may be able to get b

Kibanzi stood up and shook the dust off her, "I'm fine," she said, "You're Mchanga right?" she asked, hoping she had remembered his name. She looked over his shoulder, the butterfly had escaped, I'll get it later, she thought devilishly. "I'm Kibanzi!" she said smiling broadly.
