High in the mountains, a boy just sat there, on his rock, thinking about what got him there. He had been a beggar in the town where he was born. His parents had died when he was 5, and he had always had to depend on others.
One day, he was begging for food in the town square, when the richest person in town saw him. This man turned to the town guard's men that were standing nearby, and ask them to remove the boy from the town. "Take him to the mountains," He had said, "Maybe an animal will get him." "We can't do that without a reason." Said a guard, the boy knew this guard well. "And he hasn't hurt anything." "How about this for a reason?" he said, holding out money for the guard. "No we can't take-" he started to say.
His buddy interrupted him. "Well this time I can make an exception." His buddy said, taking the money from the man. The guard walked over to the boy. "You there, get up!" he said angrily, "You're coming with m

What he wanted to eat young dragons. He had already eaten two, and was starting to crave a third. He knew it was bad, eating the young of his own kind, but they tasted so good! He sighed again, and looked out at the village, hoping something would happen. Then, he got his wish.
"Hey Roger!" said the brown, teenage dragon.
"Yes, Sam?" said her green twin brother.
"They just let the cows out to graze at the outer farm!" Sam said, licking her lips. "What do you say? Between the two of us, we should be able to lift one."

In the middle of a desert, or more like a sandy wasteland. A boy awoke, opening his eyes slowly. Panic starting to seep into his mind upon seeing the sand. He put his hand on the back of his dark brown hair, removing his hand quickly afterwards with a pained expression. He looked over seeing a backpack. Slowly he crawled across the burning sand and opened it, finding a half empty bottle of water, a bandage, and a note saying good luck. He let out a low growl crushing the note, tossing it aside, then he put the backpack on and started walking in a random direction.
A few miles away, a female dragon with vibrant purple scales flew, enjoying the desert heat.
The boy continued on, shielding his eyes with one hand. Dehydration was already kicking in, but he didn't want to drink the water 'till he absolutely had to.
He reached the top of a sand dune, letting out an irritated laugh as he saw miles upon miles of desert. He started shaking his head then pressed on

Kathro, another hatchling, was watching the mountain village. She observed the villagers as they removed the last of their sheep from the wagon. "Purrrr-fect." She said, licking her lips. "They've finished, and the stupid cave dragon has yet to notice. I don't think he will mind if I take one before he gets there." She jumped off her lookout spot, and flew towards the farm with the sheep.

In a cave, deep in a large forest covered in winter's snow, lay a large, majestic, black female dragon with silver curved horns, spikes and a silver belly laid there in her cave, sleeping the night away, when all of a sudden, "Hello?" called a voice from the entrance of the cave. "Is anyone in here?" it called again.
Wanting to know who or what was calling, she made her way closer to the sound, she stopped when she saw what it was. It was a small, male human hatchling about 5 feet tall and seemed about the age of 8 to 10 years old. He had dark brown eyes and short messy brown hair to match. He must have heard her because he called out again, "Is anyone there?" "Yes, I live here," she answered.
He must have been surprised to get an answer because he stepped back a few feet. "I'm sorry if I barged in on your home, I will leave," he said then started to make his way to the entrance.
"You don't have to leave," she said.
"Its cold out there and you will certainly freeze t

The teenager had lived with his aunt and uncle for about a year, continually receiving letters from his parents wishing him well and telling him how well the war was going. But then, one day, the letters stopped.

Deep in the tundra plains and snow-covered forests of Canada, there lived a small boy in a remote town, nestled in the heart of this vast country. This boy was only five years old when his mother dies from pneumonia leaving the child in the care of his uncle, the father having left years before. For nine long years, the boy's uncle treated him very poorly. Despite the child's best attempts to avoid his relative's wrath, many nights still ended with injury being placed upon the boy. Since their town was more remote than most, their tiny log cabin only had electrical heat for a few hours a day, and so the two were forced to warm themselves by an ancient wood furnace the rest of the time. A favorite cruelty of the uncle was to send the boy out into the winter's cold to gather wood and logs for the furnace that night.

The animal's final struggles died away as a claw poked into its neck. The limb body was placed on a large stone table as a large, pink tongue ran itself over the predator's lips.
"Now don't move," she said playfully. "I'm going to go get one of your friends so you can have some company in my belly, ok?"
With that the dragon turned and walked out of the cave, spreading her wings and taking to the skies. I waited several moments just to be certain she was gone before I darted from my crack in the wall, sprinting towards the table.
Life had been like this for me for several months. The world was once run by humanity, a utopia for the once-dominant men and women of my race; that had changed about a year ago, however.

There was a village many years ago, a village like no other for one main reason. Now as many people know, towns are fearful of dragons, they hide away from them, they try to protect themselves from them, but this town was different. Instead of fearing dragons and trying to kill them, they had them as pets per say. Many years before hand, many many years, one man somehow managed to train a dragon, and found him more loyal to any other creature there was. The dragon that man trained done anything for the humans, and all humans started to respect them more. That dragon had hatchlings, and wanted to let them raise with the humans and itself, so that in the future, all dragons and humans could live in peace. It seems to have worked because now, a few generations after that dragon died, dragons and humans do live in peace, with no fear.
Today was a day one particular dragon had to have a dentist style check up, as it recently had problems eating its

In a dense patch of wilderness, far from any civilization, was a village. The village, though self dependent, was a decent place to live. It looked like something straight out of the middle ages; the houses were built out of common materials, such as wood and straw, and many of the people in the village were farmers. The village knew about the world outside, but kept to itself; they found life in the wilderness appealing. There was no village leader; it was a completely democratic society, where they would join together and decide in issues in a clearing to the south. It was not paradise, but it was home.
In this village lived a young man by the name of Daniel. Daniel was about age eighteen, and not particularly athletic. He was very good with politics in his village, however, and his father was looked up to
