I have punny titles. Or just really bad jokes. Not sure yet.

My Ame Comi Robin which I FINALLY got decent pictures of. Wore it to AWA this weekend and just threw it on for shiggles on Sunday since I realized I didn't have anything I wanted to post of this outfit.

Turns out my pretty bird is an AMAZING photographer. Holy crap, I look amazing despite my sagging boots. (They were just....not wanting to cooperate that day. Fashion tape or not.)

Ame Comi Robin costume was made by me. A labor of love I'd been working on since July of last year.

Still absolutely convinced that Ame Comi Robin is ALL THE ROBINS.

Except Damian...because...well...it's Damian.

My god interesting comic book poses are exaggerated and uncomfortable.

Costume by me

I am really sorry I neglected my deviantArt account this much lately, but my internship, university homework and costume making kept me terribly busy. I also caught a cold which put me out of action for almost one week.
I am glad I have almost recovered by now. I will do my best to be more active again in future.

Unfortunately I have to say that I will most likely not be able to present pictures of new costumes until March. My internship ends next week and there is a 30-page term paper to write. I also have to arrange my schedule for the next semester, etc.
I am planning to debut two new costumes at the bookfair in Leipzig. One of them (Ion Fortuna from Trinity Blood) is already finished. If you are interested to see what it looks like, feel free to take a look at my Facebook Account!
The second costume I will debut is Selina Kyle / Catwomanís outfit from Batman: Hush. The suit is almost finished, only the mask, the belt, the goggles and alterations concerning the boots are left to make. Up to this point I am still confident to make it in time. I hope I will be able to present some WIP pictures soon!

To bridge the time between the last shooting I did back in January and the convention in March have another picture of my Spoiler and Narakuís Robin costume! You should definitely check out her site! Her work is absolutely amazing.
To be honest I think this is one of the coolest pictures of the whole shooting. I hope you like it just as much as I do!

Catwoman Model/Costumer: Me!
Photographer: Angelwing! ([link])

I remember when the Ame Comi line of DC figures came out I adored them all! I especially loved the first version of Catwoman they had, but wasn't able to cosplay it. However, when the second version came out, I fell in love! I collected back issues of Catwoman when Jim Balent was the artist and appreciated that the Ame Comi artist used the original color purple in the figure.

Catwoman Costume: Top down....The wig is a pixie cut one from a previous cosplay. I created the blue clip in weft myself to resemble the figurine. The cap was drafted from a tutorial I found on the Red Headed Seamstresses website ([link]). The bodysuit was made with Stretch and Sew pattern f845 from metallic styled stretch fabric I ordered online. I free drafted the belts and stitched them on. The zipper had the cloth sides trimmed off and was stitched on-it's non functional. The neck has snaps on the back that allow me in/out of the costume. The gloves were from Vogue Pattern 7949-adjust accordingly, it's for people with small twig arms! The boots were made from Sarcasm-hime's tutorial at: ([link]) I glued on a silver strip on the boot to resemble the zipper....that was just a tad too complex for me to do!

I love how close to the figure I got! Although I had limited time, it came together quickly and rekindled my love for cosplay! If Ame Comi continues to make these beautiful figurines, I may have to do more of their cosplays!
