Take me away.
Everything is dark.
Show me where to go.
Take me in your arms.
Let us escape.
Our life is fresh.
An eternity awaits.
Our love is forever.
I need you.
You need me.
Nothing can stop us.
We are one.

I'm lying again.
my hips are burning and I
shouldn't have but boy,
did I and it felt so BAD.
everything is good, though, for the
knobby-kneed soccer mom girls who
won't love, because they commit instead.
It's not so awful after all, living in
the land of smiles and
little kids without broken boys
on chandeliers and lovely girls with
hate in their fingers
(I will tear you apart and
grind your bones against
mine but it's just another
nothing because that's
how it will always be with
you and we won't see
each other again)
I will lie awake and intertwine your pinky with
mine because that's all
that I can bear to touch anymore
they haven't loved and
listened to beautiful liars
tell them that they're
flawless yet or heard
those noises in the night
of those who own it.
you have a lot to learn and a lot to lose
and you're going to hate but you won't LISTEN
The night beat you to covering your body in black,
and once again you're terrible at ending things.

The Covenant-Human war had ended. The false Covenant Prophet of Truth had been slain, the Ark lay in ruins and the Humans were at peace with the remnants of the Covenant. Though peace had been declared tensions were still high amongst the human remnants, aside from the scars of battle the UNSC had another problem left to resolve. The Spartans.
With the war behind them the UNSC had little use for their advanced super soldiers. With political pressure from UNSC leaders and even greater pressure from the ethical extremists in the public Dr Catherine Hasley was fighting an up hill battle to protect her beloved Spartans.
The elderly members of the UNSC war council sat at the raised desk before the military court. Each council member wore their military dress uniforms, their chests overflowing with medals of Honour, bravery and courage. They glared down at the two humans standing before them. On the right stood Dr. Catherine Hasley,

I feel a slight breeze ruffle the hair that lies across my face. I sigh, not wanting to open my eyes. My eyelids feel heavy. I let them open halfway. I look down at my body and see I am fully dressed. I raise my eyebrows, "Was it a dream?" I wonder aloud. I push back the covers and then attempt to sit up. The pain is immediate. I feel tears in my eyes for a split second. "Nope, definitely reality." I whisper and stand, slowly.
I take slow steps to the door and see the evident signs of Peeta. The window is wide open; and there is a tray of tea on the dresser with a small loaf of bread. I smile to myself and make my way to the bathroom and when I emerge, he is sitting on the bed, smiling at me.
"Hey, sleepy head." He pulls me into his arms as he says this. I feel his warm hands rubbing my back, "Have a nice night?" He whispers in my ear, playfully.
I bat at his arm and pull away, "No, I actually didn't," When his face falls, I smile and grab his hand, "I had an amazing night."
The Cat Returns 2 Ch2Chapter 2The Cat Returns 2 Ch27 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
Haru found herself floating high above the clouds on what appeared to be a cushion made of gray cats. They were all running on the air as easily as they might a field of lush grass, and with the same speed. Having gone through this kind of ordeal before, Haru wasnt all that frightened by the height or the speed of the cats. Rather, she was far more concerned about why she had been abducted again at all and whose bed of cats this was in the first place. Last time it was to marry Prince Lune, but since the Prince had become King now, there really was no point.
At least thats what she said to herself.
Also atop the cats in front of her was a single black cat sitting up on its hide legs and looking out over the horizon ahead of them. Haru was about to speak when the cat turned round and stared at her with eyes glazed over with a bluish tint.
Thats when she realized this was no ride sent from PrinceKing Lune.
Harus bag was propped up against the wall

Haru had never been a fighter, and though she felt trapped she let her good judgment guide her and decided simply to follow the cats wherever they took her. Every so often she would glance around at the cats, all with the same glowing blue eyes that the black cat in front had and all bearing cat sized spears, things she had no intention of finding out if they could actually wield. There seemed to be no real difference between any of them save their colours, which she didnt suspect mattered when it came right down to it.
It was a long walk; Haru hadnt had to walk this far during her first visit, though she suspected that that was because she wasnt riding in a cart.
The scenery had changed very little since her last visit to the Kingdom of Cats. The fields of grass were tall and the most perfect shade of green she had ever seen, the sun was still perched at high noon, casting its brilliant stare down upon the somehow moist earth, and clouds drifted slowly, laz

So profound in its complexity
Confusion rampant in my mind
Seeking still, but will I find?
Honesty drawn from deep within
To shield my heart from what is sin
Dark shadows fall to cast aside
To contemplate, but yet abide
I yearn for who I used to be
Filled with hope and so carefree
A strength apparent in every step
With stories told and memories kept
Upon the ground I kneel once more
To count the cost of what's in store
My prayers unanswered to this day
I beg, I plead, once more I pray
Tempered platitudes upon my tongue
To scream unheard to old and young
I quench my need to end it all
Before I take this endless fall
Again, I heed my inner voice
To stand again, and make a choice
To rid me from this place I see
This place of stifling perplexity..

Pouring from the amber forest, like a symphony of trees
Can you hear how they are singing?
Through those sanguine pillars ringing
Natures requiem is soaring, roaring up in full reprise
Its a chorus of the dying; its a choir of the damned
And the death-knells ringing out lament their passing close at hand
Can you hear the leaves are falling?
Can you hear their spirits calling?
Their enthralling anthem falters as they force their final stand
Now the final leaves are plucked away by winters whipping wind
All the colors of the forest slowly by the snow worn thin
Though by mist and cold encumbered
Thrive does nature here, not slumber
Midst a vast and frozen wasteland life refuses to rescind
Down from leaden sieves it drifts and paints the ground in pallid hues
Alabaster mist so fine it into everything intrudes
Not a death, a resurrection
Natures renaissance through flexion;

There lived a girl in Santun Bay
She was once a sweet girl, kind and pretty
But now poor and homeless, more's the pity.
It all started a few years ago,
this girl's piteous tale of woe.
Before she was a woman grown,
She lost all she'd ever known.
Her parents died in a house fire,
And with them gone her life grew dire.
She grew up begging on the streets
And never had enough to eat.
She learned to cheat and lie and steal,
Would do anything for one good meal.
So when she came across a man
Who offered food, she never ran.
She took his proffered arm instead,
And was led to an inn where she'd be fed.
And when the bountiful meal was done,
She was once again inclined to run.
But now he took HER by the arm,
And promised her he meant no harm,
But would she be so kind to sit
And speak with this poor old man a bit?
So she sat back down, quite nervous now
And listened as he told her how
He came to be in this small town.
Listening, she began to frown -
This man spoke of wond

Here in this sterile place her life was summarised into a few objects. And People. Her eyes fell on her husband, staring down at her. Pictures hung casually from the walls.
That time she'd slipped through a barrier of riot police to snap an award winning shot of carnage.
The day she climbed a foreign mountain in wind and rain because the sky looked better from up high.
I'm scared she confessed this silently, her voice failing her as it so often did now. His smile didn't crease as he pressed a cool hand against her smooth forehead.

I can regret it in capital letters
because we are born with our emotions
and no map to plot them out.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, keep your head above the water.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, keep your heart inside your throat.
you can't use GPS to sort this out.
your map is folded up and backwards,
and when you look in the mirror
I call you beautiful
but you don't understand.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, look behind you.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, there is a monster breathing down your back.
this is a feeling like
a Vesuvian complexity,
perfectly preserved in ash.
I dust you off.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, I want to peel the clothes off your body.
I say, "I love you,"
and it means, run away as fast as you can.
you take abstract photographs
and call them sensual.
I just call them sex with inanimate objects
that I can't keep under control.
