GoW: Baird's ChronicleBaird slowly made his way back home, hands smeared with grease up to his elbows along with spots dotting most of his light blue shirt. He scrubbed fiercely at it without making any progress in the attempt to clean himself. If he made it home with oil and grease on him again his father would be furious. His booted feet slowed further as his house came into view. In all his thirteen years of life, Baird could not remember being happy to come home when his father was there. When he reached the steps that led up to the front door he stopped and briefly wiped at his right elbow again.GoW: Baird's Chronicle6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
With a scowl, he took in a deep breath and trudged up the stairs. He hesitated again with his hand resting on the door handle, listening intently to see if he could make out if his father and mother were home. Hearing nothing, he turned the knob softly and entered the house as stealthily as he could. Once inside his home he

Baird was fixing whatever machine he could find to fix. Cogs were all over the place fixing the buildings and lands on Azura. There was one thing missing in the picture of peace. It was Marcus's longtime friend and brother Dominic Santiago. Marcus was still trying to cope over not only the loss of his brother but his father, Adam Fenix, as well.
"I wish you were here Dom," Marcus said to himself before sighing, "Everyone and everything is what we dreamed the end of the war would look like."
Marcus was still talking and was interrupted by the sound of footsteps on the sand. He looked behind him to see who it was. It was Anya Stroud.
"Marcus?" Anya asked.
"Yeah Anya?" Marcus replied.

Baird pulled out more parts as he inspected them closely to see what they were. When he had found out he laid them down in stacks of the same type of material. They were mostly wires.
Young Damon finally stood up and went back towards his rather large house that was bigger than what most people had in these times, his family was considered rich to most people that knew him. He walked in the back door that led to the basement where he looked around for more things he could take apart without his father scolding him for it. Unless he was caught.

Leonardo let out a small sigh, resisting the urge to simply stick his brush up the assassin's nose in an attempt to shut him up. "No, Ezio, I must complete this commission. I am already far behind on it. Besides, as wonderful and amazing as the carnevale is, I have never been one to attend it. Far too much noise and too many people."

Puzzlement, however, still remained. "You're out of work early," Alex supplied, walking over to him. It was barely nine o' clock. There was something there: Impassionate urgency, and that made their kiss feel robotic and manufactur

Was the sound of Sarge's shotgun as he fired it in the snowy mountain range.
Several of the scattered shotgun pellets hit directly on the side of the Meta's face. Unfortunately, the Meta was too far out of range for the shotgun to do any real damage. Instead his shields did their job well by absorbing the hit.
The Meta quickly turned to face Sarge right when he called out, "Come here ya big son of a bitch!"
The Meta had lost his brute-shot during the previous fight, but that didn't stop him. He had taken several stab wounds from Tex's knife as well as taking a direct hit from Tucker's sword.
The two started to slowly approach each other as Sarge continued to shoot the Meta with his shotgun. Each blast lowered the Meta's shields until they were completely depleated. But the Meta continued to advance on Sarge.
Both Grif and Simmons were watching the fight from a safe distance. "What is Sarge doing?" asked Grif.
"Looks like he's killing himself."

Hate Without ReasonPeace, justice, equality. Things Americans are proud to die for. But Communism? They don't even want communists around them, let alone die for their system. But why? If people actually read the Communist Manifesto, perhaps they'd find out that their government was tricking them. That they were being lied to. That the people who have been ripping them off and exploiting them are now scapegoating and forwarding hate and aggression to innocent people who want the best for their citizens.Hate Without Reason2 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
I'm of course going to refer back to Red Terror of the 1950's. The US was blacklisting accused Communists and doing inhumane things to them, but why? Because people don't do research. True, Joseph Stalin, the man who carried out the Purges and Five-Year-Plans of the 1930's, was a communist, but the things he did weren't for communism. But Communism, as set down in the Communist Manifesto, has nothing to do with what Stalin did. And the US government would've known that if they read the book.

RVB Season 9
Now that Season 9 of Red vs. Blue is over, I think it's time I give my thoughts on the season. Spoiler alert, if you haven't watched the season yet, you will get spoiled here.
I got to admit, I am sorta overall satisfied with it, but it's my least favorite RVB season. I think of the Blood Gulch Chronicles as one story, told in 5 parts, just like how the good (and ONLY in my mind) Star Wars trilogy told a single story in 3 parts. I also feel this way about the Recollection trilogy. Season 9 tries to balance the humor of the BGC with the mature storytelling and character development of the Recollection trilogy (the same thing Recollection did, balancing drama and comedy), but doesn't hit the level of humor the BGC did or the level the darker storyline and character moments that Recollections hit. It's not bad though, and there are some very funny scenes (the incident with the flashbang grenade for example) and some scenes that are very emotional.
