The entire story, characters, and style really resonated with me. So of course I had to create my own personal Woona to keep me company while I watch MLP, listen to music, and of course read Moonstuck.
This sculpt is made completely from scratch out of Fimo sculpting clay. It stands roughly 5 1/2 inches tall. It is not quite ready for paint, as I still have a decent amount of fine detail sanding and prep work to do, but I thought it had reached the point where I could share it as a WIP.
I would love to hear any comments, critiques, words of encouragement, anything that you may have to offer.
I will probably be finishing her up this weekend and will post finished pics then. Until then, I hope you have a great day.
One of my many "want-to-do"-projects is making marionettes. I started it a few years ago by creating two puppets' heads. This one is a blind old man, a seer or beggar. The material I used is some air-drying modelling clay. It is very light weighted and can be worked on after drying.
