JUSTIN MALLER for THE DEPTHCORE COLLECTIVE CHAPTER XLII "OBSOLETE".

This is the second in an unfinished trilogy. I set about creating the machines that would hunt and exterminate humans that had fled the concentrated slaughter in the cities.

Very excited to announce the Depthcore relaunch, featuring the new chapter, a new site design, and a new content rich format. Check it out!

Illustration: Justin Maller

Created for Depthcore XL - MYTHIC.

Please check out the new chapter - it is brimming with great new artwork! This piece is based off a bunch of stories I used to read when I was a kid that featured Owls prominently - they feature in the mythology of nearly all cultures around the world as messengers of misfortune.... ominous!

Hope you enjoy!

Inverse-kaleidoscopic-ish flower. Plain, simple and somewhat metallic. :icondummydanceplz:

Felt like playing around in Photoshop again. I guess when you look at it there's no real point in putting a Stargate on a world like this...

Hey, it could be one of the Nox's floating city thing, only this time it's more like a park, lol.

Feel free to use it as your desktop wally paper. It's 1280x1024 'cause that's what size my desktop is, but it should work on smaller resolutions as well. And, you won't see my name in the bottom right hand corner if your taskbar is along the bottom of the screen. ;)

I've gone brush crazy! I'm inspired to create my own now. :bucktooth:

Thankies for looking folks!

Starfield(s): I've used about 3 different Deviant's brushes here... if one of them belongs to you please let me know!

I'm really sorry that I've forgotten some of you wonderful people who have created such awesome brushes. I've had a lot of them for a long time and have long since forgotten who created them, I'm not even sure if they came from DA or elsewhere ^^;. Please leave a message here or on my page if you recognise one of them.

I have been overwhelmed by work recently, and not able to draw new wallpapers. However, I wanted to share this photo as I think it makes good background - this is one of fountains in my town. Camera: Canon 400D, lens: Sigma 30mm/1.4.

The Fall Tree

I am quite happy with how this artwork turned out :-) Tree planted with ContextFree (fractal software), manipulated in Photoshop. Leaves gathered on the street and scanned :-)
