1:25 scale model box for my 1888 theatre set design. The room is inspired by living conditions of the Lambeth working class in the late Victorian era. The room is an authentic replica of the type of room rented by the theatricals and poorer working class living in the slums of Kennington. This particular room is a replica of Methley Street in SE11.

The floor was stained with tea bags and later details were hand painted on, the fire place is also hand painted, as is the street scene of the Kennington park road window scape.
This type of room is one of the smallest in the upper floor of the three story basement town houses typical of the area. I adore these houses and the area of Lambeth and the entire project was a real joy to work on.

I was inspired to use this particular street for it's connection to comedy legend Charlie Chaplin who lived at 39 Methley street with his mother and older brother as a child and my model is close to the conditions they and their neighbours would of faced in the Kennington slums at this time.

24mm scale (approx 1 inch tall) baby unicorns that will be available soon from Impact! Miniatures [link]

The unicorns were part of the kickstarter they ran last year. These were a special order from Impact to get the accessories (wings, flames ect.) at the smaller scale.  I had lots of fun painting these and am looking forward to getting all the rewards from backing their kickstart.
I think my favorite is the Black and Gold batwing .  I'd be interested in hearing what everyone else thinks.

A miniature model gypsy camp that I made for my Senior art final. Contained within a standard sized locker, I stood up painted matte walls and a ceiling with a moon and constellations illuminated by Christmas lights. These lights continue on inside the tent, lighting up my homemade pillows and carpet along with the thumbnails I made of my own pieces that line the walls.

I had the idea some time ago of building dioramas as a sort of "film set" that could be used and reused for photography with different casts of characters. This one is a visualisation of a street in Berlin in April-May 1945 with the last defenders of Berlin mustering against as yet unseen Russians. In the foreground is a Luftwaffe female auxiliary with pistol gesturing at an unseen danger; behind her a Volksturrm partol forms up in an alley. A dead Volkssturmmann lies in the stret. Building scratchbuilt using ptoprietary textured plastic card; figures from the Pegasus Miniatures "Germans in Berlin" set - a unique figure set depicting civilian levvies and female fighters in the last days of the Reich. 1:72 throughout.
