The Three Ages of Gwen - 2Elsewhen
Gwendolyn looked over at the same time as young Gwen was looking at her, the quizzical look in her eyes that she remembered so well from her youth.
"Ysshs," Gwen said as she looked down at herself. She had no idea how all three of them had ended up in the same place at the same time whenever that was but she had recognised Gwendolyn the moment they had carried her into the room. It may have been six years, but some things still stood out in her memory.
Gwendolyn turned to her and mumbled "nidewhsdngts?"
"Nnn," Gwen replied as she shook her head. She watched as her older self started to wriggle her upper body, trying to work loose the bands of tape that were holding her arms in place, but with little success.
"You can keep struggling all you want," she heard a voice say as a door silently opened, "but you won't break free and so long as you are silenced, there is not a thing you can do about

"Tsntpsble," Younger Gwen said as she struggled to get free, looking at her sixteen year old self as she was also held. "It just cannot be possible," Gwendolyn finally said, "We cannot all be mmmdgsmdgm" Her voice was silenced as a thick cloth was tied into her mouth, pulled back so that the corners of her mouth were pulled against her cheekbones.
"Get the three of them out of here," Eon said as she stepped forward, "I will decide what to do with these three doppelgangers of myself in due course." The three redheads were led off, struggling as Eon turned back to a monitor.
"Who was right?"

"Come on, you dweeb Grandpa will be waiting for us."
Gwen Tennyson laughed as she ran after her cousin towards the Rustbucket, the old camper van that her grandfather had been using to drive them around the country all summer. When she had first heard about the trip, two things had upset her more than anything. Firstly, been stuck in a vehicle that looked like it was been held together with duct tape and not much else. Secondly, having to spend the entire summer not just with her grandfather, but also with the idiot that was her cousin, Ben Tennyson.
She was dressed in her usual clothing a light blue top with darker blue sleeves that came to just over her elbows, white Capri pants and trainers, with her red hair held back by a single clip. The top had her favourite cat motif on the front. As for Ben, he was wearing that shirt and shorts combo again.
The holiday had started badly, and had threatened to get w

It was night. Carol lay on her back in her own bed. The lights were out in her room, leaving everything in darkness. The room was closed, leaving the room unpleasantly stuffy. The ceiling fan spun, doing little to alleviate that.
She started up at the ceiling. Periodically, passing cars headlights would throw a bar of light through a crack in the window blinds up on the ceiling. Carol watched the yellow bars lazily crawl across the ceiling as the cars drove by.
If she turned her head to the left, she could see the red numerals on her alarm clock glowing in the darkness. The last time she checked they had read 12:35. The time before that had been 12:34. Carol had a sneaking suspicion when she checked again it wouldn't have broken 12:40. She could tell it was going to be one of those nights.
Had circumstances been different, this might have been an altogether normal night for Carol. Spring was turning to summer, and she always had trouble sleeping on warm nights like this. Then a

"This isn't good!" Yoruichi stated as they were both quickly swallowed up by a dark abyss that emerged from the destroyed floor.
"Where are we?" Soifon asked as she slowly came to and stood up to see Yoruichi do the same.
"Where in a thick forest of some kind." Yoruichi pointed out as they looked around and in the distance saw a village surrounded by a huge wall.
"Are we, in the world of the living?" Soifon asked.
"I think so." Yoruichi said as she walked onto the main road. "Soifon, lets look around."
"Right, we won't be seen so we can easily gather intel." Soifon replied but before they could take off a old woman walked by them saying hi.
"What, what was that?" Soifon asked surprised.
Totally Widowed"You totally won't believe what they've got on sale in the mall right now!" Clover announced the instant she opened the front door of her apartment. The number of shopping bags she was carrying meant she had to walk through sideways. Bulma's Bad Binding DayIt was another standard day at Kame House: Boring. "It's just a uniform Clover" Penelope laughed as she tied her white lace apron behind her back.
Clover stared at herself in the staff room mirror, turning in circles as she inspected every inch of the maid outfit she had been supplied with. It was an all in one skirt outfit that buttoned at the back, black save for the white collar and white trim on the short, wavy skirt that reached just above her knees. Her legs were clad in opaque black stockings and on her feet she wore dark four inch heels. The outfit was completed by a white apron and a black headband pulled through her shoulder length blonde hair.
"Ok, I know you Brits really like the uniform thing, but this is kinda ridiculous" Clover remarked as she continued to examine herself.

Of course. Raven replied coolly with a genuine smile on her face. But, you remember last time Starfires eyes lit up a bit after a moment.

Gwen Tennyson bit her lip as Kevin's ride neared the abandoned factory.
"There's something fishy about this," she muttered, almost to herself.
"C'mon, babe, this one's a cinch," Kevin said, cocky as ever. "Maybe my tech picked up signs of radiation out here but my sources tell me there's no trace of Highbreed activity in the area, which means they're probably not involved. We got nothing to worry about."
Gwen crossed her arms and looked moodily out the window.
"Doesn't that make you wonder what it is we're looking for?"
Kevin shrugged. "Probably just some missing plutonium. Nothing we can't handle. Right, Ben?"
Kevin smacked Ben good-naturally on the back. The Omnitrix-wearer, clearly not paying attention, nearly choked on his chili fries.
"Womph?" Ben answered, his mouth full of fries.

She flipped it open and pretended to examine herself in it, but instead of a mirror she stared at the screen of a small personal computer, showing the layout of the entire mansion.
"Rogersons personal quarters are located in the east wing, and there are a number of offices on the ground floor to the right" said Sam. "We should split up and look for clues when we get an opportunity. I'll check out his personal quarters while you explore the offices."

Carol glanced at the clock. It was near 11:30. She'd been bound nearly three hours now. Her gag had gone from annoying to very uncomfortable in that time. The inside of her mouth was dry as a desert and her jaws were beginning to ache from the large knot lodged between her teeth.
Carol's arms and legs had fallen asleep after being bound so long. Every twitch sent little needles pocking into her extremities. She'd been sitting so long; she could no longer feel her butt at all.
Carol glanced over at her mother. She was dozing a little. The two captives had had little else to do during their captivity. For his part, their captor had sat on his chair as still as his captives, occasionally turning a page of his book or chuckling at some joke in the story.

Carol threw off the sheets of her bed to reveal her light blue pajamas. She quickly changed into a t-shirt and some shorts and pulled her hair up into a loose ponytail. She could take care of everything else after she'd gotten something to eat.
