all about me
complaining and superficial explainations
they never seem to bring me anywhere
and its just the little things that keep wearing us down
put em all together and turn them round and round
keep on your wits together and try to maintain
the battle isn't fought alone
by myself nothing's slain

I don't know where they come from and I don't know why they're there
The mystery surrounds me and keeps my mind from despair
A beautiful beginning to a thought I dare compose
How long they dare to stay for remains the question no one knows
I hear them when I'm sleeping, and I've never been afraid
I met them when I was younger and for some reason they stayed
Fragments of a daydream I know that they must be
So real that I can touch them and yet can never see
A daughter of a giant, she dares to whistle on the sea
The first of all these memories, she smiles timidly at me
In the arms of a chosen one, she feels the safety she desires
Adopted into savagery, she challenges these swords and fires
Another girl runs fearfully from the powers she had cherished
Inside my heart she's safe, but in her own mind she has perished
Abandoning a love she's always known that was so true
Dressed in these rags a broken child wonders what she's to do
The last of these, my hidden friends, is a hero for them all

Pain and hurt,
just let me be.
One day I will be free,
as happy as can be.
Above the mountains
I shall soar.
The shackles of heartbreak
will be no more.
away into the sunset I shall fly,
free and happy as an eagle can be.
With the wings of love,
I will fly to the heavens.
The weight of my worries
continues to lessen
as I melt away into the light.

Bou and Rau: Mrs. Cuineill
When Tomas Cuineill returned to the castle keep with his mother close to his side, a flock of attendants was summoned to confiscate their effects from their hands so they may move about the castle with ease. The royal attendants leaped away in a flurry and informed the additions to the castle that their room was finished for their arrival. As well, they were reminded that King Alasdair was overseeing the project of fitting their adjoining apartments and was awaiting their appearance near the entrance to the servant's quarters of the keep. The blacksmith, still donning his apron and sullied yet becoming face, murmured to his mother that he would carry her to quicken their coming but his offer was refused and they continued at a slow and hobbling pace.
Mrs. Cuineill smiled and thanked the attendants for their enthusiasm, waving them on as though she were a royal herself. The Westren woman, now old and shriveled, had been fine-looking in her youth an

The West. That simple phrase conjures up visions of towering snow capped mountains. Vast pine forests and winding rivers. And endless scorching deserts. To some it was a no man's land which brought death and turmoil. But to our forefathers it was "The West". A frontier with endless possibilities. And there dreams proved to be correct, for the west truly was the place for our nation to grow and prosper. And one of the keys to this prosperity was the railroad. Before the 1860s the nation's railroads were limited to the eastern United States. Very few railroads, if any, were west of the Mississippi river at that point in time. But the railroad was paving the way west.
On May 10th, 1869, one of America's greatest watershed moments occurred. The completion of the world's first transcontinental railroad was completed. It was almost unheard of. A single stretch or track nearly 3,000 miles long linking together the east and west. What used to take m

When my stomach made such a terrible noise!
"What was that!?" I cried "Did you hear that, mummy?"
She smiled and replied "There's a rumble in your tummy!"
"A rumble!?" I asked, my eyes growing wide,
Is that something living inside my insides?
I didn't know what it was, I was scared!
Was it dangerous to let something live in there?
I really didn't know what to do,
But mummy said "Looks like it's time for some food!"
She went to the kitchen and got me a plate,
I was glad mummy knew what rumbles ate.
She gave me a sandwich and I ate it up fast,
The rumble started being quiet at last,
And then for a while everything was all right,
But then when I was in bed that night...
The rumble started making noises once more!
A sound like that is too loud to ignore,
And then my belly started to feel all funny,
The rumble was moving about in my tummy!
"He must be hungry!" I leapt to my feet,
"I have to find him something to eat!"

Last night I stayed up and talked to my friend, Dalton, who I haven't talked to much with recently. We could always keep going that way, on and on until something stopped us. Laughing and joking with him just like we used to do all the time. During our conversation my aunts cat, Dozer, had taken my seat, I let him stay there even though I had to stand. Dalton and I continued to talk and I finally gave in and picked Dozer up and set him on my lap. Dalton's family had given Dozer to us. He was a strange cat with his big paws, extra toes , strange markings and no tail. But we loved him even more because of it. Thinking of a time that seems so long ago, when we first got Dozer. I had compforted him on the way home, cuddled with him every night and played with him, I still have scars. Which part of me hopes never fade. I began to think about past times with my friends as well. Remembering that Dalton and his amily along with another pair of brothe

He puffed deeper and darted his eyes over at the other platform and saw what everyone was abuzz about.

I've been thinking that I think too negatively. Life is simply much better when you smile and enjoy it. Think about all the good things that have happened and never let go of them. Sure we get into loads of stress these years but who cares! We all go through it at some point so get it out of the way and never think about it again. Life is much better when the glass is half full (not half empty) so I think we should all drink a (half FULL) glass of water and enjoy it while it lasts. I keep on thinking about the song 'We're all in This Together' (by Ben Lee) because we truly are all in this together. You help me, I help you, you help your friends, I help my friends until the whole world is connected by this web of support and friendship.
I think that marks shouldn't at all affect how we act. It doesn't matter how bad you're doing in school. Theyre numbers! They shouldn't make you feel like your life is pointless... life is great! If universities look at just marks then th

He newly acquired 'Demon Eyes' the ability to see invisible beings and objects. The side effect of the 'Demon Eyes' was that your eyes turned bloody red. Jason's stomach growled and he turned his attention over to Lucy on the concrete floor. Little did Jason know Lucy was awake and prepared to fight. "There's no use in fighting me. I see your extra arms." Jason snickered. Lucy jerked her vectors up and picked herself up. "I don't want to stay here with the likes of you." Lucy whispered. "No, I want to make a deal with you." It was a cold winters evening.
The forest was a blanket of snow, with more falling from the sky.
A cold wind rustled the trees and pushed the snowflakes so they fell at an angle.
The serene wilderness was broken by only one sound, the sound of footsteps.
The snow crunched under her feet, giving way and letting them sink in, making it hard to run.
It wasn't easy to begin with, as she'd been going for days, even weeks without being able to stop for a good rest.
She was a young girl, only in her late teens, far too young to be out in the wild alone, but she didn't have a choice.
She was being chased, stalked, tracked and hunted.
Her hunter was relentless, unforgiving and merciless.
If she wasn't careful, she could be dead before sunrise.
After pushing through the snow she caught her foot on a stone, and was unable to stop herself from falling.
She fell to the ground and immediately clutched her hip.
Looking down she saw she had reopened the wound, as her clothes were starting to turn red.

Considering my inexperience, one wouldn't be wrong if they stated that I being nervous was an understatement. Heck, it would be the understatement of the century.
I spared another glance at the calendar I had hung by the mirror. It was late October, when all the movies on TV were monster- and slasher-flicks from the fifties onward. That was a good time in film, the fifties, but I digress. Again, the little symbol in the top right-hand corner of today's box told of my time limit for this date. "What symbol?" you may ask. A white circle with a black outline: the moon would be full tonight.
Again, I heard a deeper version of my own voice echo in my head, It's almost time.

She had found the clearing on accident, hidden away in the dense forests, tucked back away from a world that was becoming more and more crowded with people and technology. It was a sanctuary, only able to be found by those who knew where to look, or who stumbled there by chance, and didn't understand the meaning of the place. She was just a girl, in the only place in the forest that was clear enough where you could look up and see the blue sky. The light had hit the stones just right, and as she stood there, the gods had appeared. Owl faced creatures with grass-like hair, small, fat ones with moon colored skin, foxes with the eyes
