They were just two nights
When the sun vanished in the sky
And no more warmth is in sight
Just the fading prophecy between her eyes
Shinning like a never ending star
Praying to the immortal oh he that never die
To guide her spirit through this sky
To lead her to the morningstar
For she has given him life
And without her no he cant fly up skies
A falling , lifeless and flaming star was my fate
But the prophecy revealed her to me
A beauty like no mortal have ever seen
Eyes filled with gold and her skin with hareer
Her tears giving life to the unholy screams
Releasing the captured souls of those who wept in fear
Eyesless cant even make the tear
But as rain fell , their eyes started to appear
Revealing more and more of that true prophecy
That made me fall back in fear
For I have sinned and no blessings can I see
A fool who thought he can betray death
And fly to where the angels weep
But as a prayer I can only speak
Hoping for mercy from the tree that tasted my steel .

My Eyes Have Been Soiled
My Cheeks Are Tarnished
Most Foul Face Known
Have Streamed Their Way
Newly Soiled Eyes
They've Tarnished My Cheeks
Made My Face Hideous
They Flow Throughout My Body
The Same Way My Cold Blood
Flows As Well
Through My Heart
Through My Soul
I've Been Told
We All Have Flower Hearts
We've Been Born With Small Seeds
They're Inside Us All
The Only Way For Them To Grow
Is To Make Tears For Them
The More Tears We Make
The More Powerful
Our Flower Hearts Become
My Flower Heart
Will Become Stronger Too
And All These Tears I've Cried
Will Make Me Beautiful

"Arghh, what horrible day," groaned Fionna. She trudged along the path to her tree house. The sky was dark, the sun was setting really quickly. On her back she carried some books in her pack Cake had requested she find. She had spent all day trying to find them, searching about every library in the land of Ooo.
She kicked at little pebbles as she walked. Some squirrels were chittering in the trees, but Fionna secretly wished they would shut up, for she was beginning to have a head ache. She stopped at a tree stump on the side of the path and sat down, rubbing her temples. She tried to meditate. Her mind began to clear, and the pain in her head began to dull. She got up again and was about to continue when she noticed something.
Everything was dead silent.
She felt a chill go down her spine, a she sensed she wasn't alone. Something was behind her. She gulped and pulled out her sword, and slowly turned around.
"YEEEE-AAAHHH!" she yelled as she swung her sword, b

That stone hard look
Shows how much of a monster you are
You don't care what losses you bring to these people
You took away their happiness
Their hearts once were filled with love
Now they are empty
The childhood you took away from these kids
Their happiness, their joy, their trust
They're so young but faced more than any person has faced in this world
You destroyed their homes, their lives
You killed their families
But you don't care
They will never be the same
Living a life in fear
You don't hear their cries
You just left them starve to death while you destroyed their homes and made yours

I was not a mistake.
It’s strange to think that exactly half of my DNA comes from you, and yet we could pass each other on the street and not even recognize each other.
I’ve never really believed in searching for you, my biological family. I never asked my parents the heartbreaking questions that Hollywood makes small, blue-eyed orphans ask: “Why didn’t my real mother want me?” I’ve never believed in any of that, and I don’t expect that you’d want me to, anyway.
But if we ever did meet, what would we even say to each other? I don’t speak Chinese, and you probably don’t speak English. But, in case you’ve ever wondered about me, here’s a little about myself:
I look different now. When you last saw me, I weighed less than fifteen pounds and could fit inside of a kitchen sink when I needed a bath. But today I am 19 years old and I’m probably taller than you – the nutrition in America is dif

Jeremiah 1-17/19 Get yourself Ready!!! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land-against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. They, will fight against you but will never overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the LORD. What this means is the believer's need to listen to CHRIST. He will prepare you to go out and do what he say's. Whatever the circumstance may be. Do not care what others might say or do to you listen to GOD!!!!! wholly surrendering to God is totally going out of our ways even if it hurts even if something bad might happen we cannot be afraid. It will not happen if we just sit and look around in a box all conformed to what we think is true w

Juliana. His Juliana.
In his mind, he could still recall the flecks of gold in her hair, those almost green eyes that gleamed when she laughed, the dimples at the corner of her mouth as she teased him, the familiar feel of her hand in his, her thumb caressing the back of his hand..
He bit his lip.
But what if she didn't want him? Every day they had been apart seemed like a lifetime. His mind kept going over the memories..

Be the crutch in my pain.
Be the laughter in my sorrow
Be the smile along this frown.
Be the song within my cry.
Be my heart when I feel so empty.
Be my love when all else fades away.
Be my feet when I can't walk.
Be my arms when I can't reach.
Be my skin when I can no longer feel.
Be our faith when we lose hope.
Be our eyes when we are blinded.
Be our ears when we can't hear.
Be our mouth when we can't speak.
Be our mountain in this valley.

Tell me how you are.
Let the wind be your words;
The sun being your arms.
Leaves that blow can be your happiness,
And raindrops; the tears,
Show me what your Heaven's like,
Please, sizzle out my fears.
I miss you, beautiful,
The smile upon that face.
I love you, beautiful,
Without you life's a waste.
Before I leave,
I'll kiss your stone,
Like I used to kiss your cheek
Then I'll stand and walk away;
These feelings I no longer hide.

Creating the new song of life
A storm is growing far away
And I'm still here but must leave
The last train is leaving now
Fades beyond the crystal lake
And my heart just goes with it
Leaves just keep falling.
The sound of this train reels inside
Bringing back memories of
Somehow I knew I'll end up as this
In this place I loved so much
That feels empty now, without anyone
A reminder of innocent youth.
Somewhere, beneath the waves
Maybe I'll find the peace
That I've always refused
I dream of you. I remember us.
Years passed me by, people came and left
Some taking parts of me somewhere
But in this night, oh, I still love
And maybe you'll whisper someday
"Come, hold me, love me"
And I will surely come.
Tears of autumn stain this old skin
And heal the wounds of time
I think of all of you
And I take faltering steps
In the rain.

RequiemRequiemRequiem4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
By: Adam M. Snow
The darkness blooms on this cold still night,
Loneliness I wait; I wait for time to take flight,
But loneliness I wait; lost forevermore,
Bounded by fate of my tomorrow, dying for,
Lost forevermore like my burden upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.
Awaken now by agony and greed,
But still alone in this time of need,
Alone, with but one desire,
To fly free, not stoke the fire.
Requiem on this night upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.
A requiem like any other, sung upon dreams, so it seems.
Broken through turmoil and bliss,
I give my dying kiss to a broken reflection,
A reflection, shattered across time,
By my one tormented prime.
Like my woes overthrown by ageless affliction,
But my dying curse, my only addiction,
Lost forevermore like my burden upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.

I saw you today. You were walking down the street, and you looked sad. I smiled at you, but you didn't see. I know you didn't mean anything by it, but it made me sad. I know that you would have a beautiful smile. You look nice in blue. Love, Thomas.
He carefully folded the letter into thirds, walked to the door, and pushed it through the slot. Then he smiled, and turned back to his work, hoping that it might help her find her own smile.
The next day, he saw her again, walking down the street. He smiled again, and this time she saw him, but she merely nodded a hello, and kept going. His expression of joy slipped a little, and he sat down on a park bench nearby and pulled out a spiral bound notebook.
Dear Alice, he wrote.
You were sad again today. The sun was out and a butterfly flew past you, but I don't think you saw it. It was pretty, just like you. The sky matched the colour of your eyes. I think they would sparkle as bright as diamonds i

When you were lost; I was there to guide you.
When you were crying at night, I wiped away your tears.
When you were scared, I cast away all your fears.
When you had no one to turn to, I was always there.
When you wanted to give up, I was the hope inside of you; the one who truly did care.
When words scarred your heart, I took away the pain.
When your life was dull, I was the sunshine through the rain.
Whenever you lost your grip, I broke the fall.
When you cried out for help, I answered the call.
When life got you down, I gave you comfort.
When you stumbled, I made sure you were unhurt.
When you were weak, I was the strength that you found.
When you couldn't reach, I lifted you up off the ground.
When you were suffering, I saw you through.
When you needed to be held, I was the one who held you.
When you were in the dark and you couldn't see, I was the light that showed you the way.
When you lost all motivation, I was the one who got you

You once said that we were made for one another. You once said that the world was built for us to destroy together. You made me believe every lie you told.
(But you can't spell believe without lie,
or at least that was your excuse)
When you said my name, that half year or so ago, I still remember it. When you decided to take everything into your hands and jump, I still remeber how my tears tasted. How hot they were when I cried for you.
(Now I can't even bear to look you in the eye)
Remember when I used to give a shit? Well, I've got something better than you now. Remember when I used to look at you, just to make sure you were still alive. Now, I just hope I get an invite to the funeral. I'll be sure to bring flowers.
(But I still can't really hate you,
even after you've torn me apart)

"Darling, you have nothing to fear"
So I hop onto his motor bike
Nearly invisible in the night
And it seems it knows where to go
That is, until I find myself on an unfamiliar road
I wonder how I got here
How did I forget to steer?
How did I forget to control my life?
My mistake stabs me like a knife
As he lifts me off his ride
And finds his way up my thighs
My mind is swirling
I do not know what is up or down
My mind is swirling
I think I might just drown
It finds its way into my soul
Captures me without invitation
Holds me down onto my back
Making me pay the reparations
It washes away all thought
There is nothing as far as the eye can see
Please, God, please
Rescue me from the Black Sea of Eternity
Now all alone and strolling through the park
Everything I see is overshadowed by the dark
The crumbling of the ground beneath
Is like a dagger to my feet
But I continue down in my trance
While the wild animals take their stance
To defend their homeland

The coloured lights pulsed and reflected off every surface, every cocktail and every bottle showcased in the shelving behind the bar. The sweaty throng of dancers flocked together, twisting their bodies to the rhythmic shapes of the music in the humid air. They worshipped the DJ, elevated on his podium. They were his disciples and we would join in their cause.
"What do you reckon?" I raised my voice to ask Chris.
"Seems alright but I want a drink." He responded and turned to the bar
"Nah, no, no, get out there and scout the war zone. I'll get the drinks."
Chris raised his blonde eyebrows once, glanced towards the bar longingly and then finally spun on his heels and trudged towards the dance floor. I swaggered up to the bench, looking around at the other people eagerly awaiting service. I ordered two beers for Chris and myself. Turning abruptly, I accidentally knocked the arm of a dark haired guy who was carrying three drinks, causin
