Creating the new song of life
A storm is growing far away
And I'm still here but must leave
The last train is leaving now
Fades beyond the crystal lake
And my heart just goes with it
Leaves just keep falling.
The sound of this train reels inside
Bringing back memories of
Somehow I knew I'll end up as this
In this place I loved so much
That feels empty now, without anyone
A reminder of innocent youth.
Somewhere, beneath the waves
Maybe I'll find the peace
That I've always refused
I dream of you. I remember us.
Years passed me by, people came and left
Some taking parts of me somewhere
But in this night, oh, I still love
And maybe you'll whisper someday
"Come, hold me, love me"
And I will surely come.
Tears of autumn stain this old skin
And heal the wounds of time
I think of all of you
And I take faltering steps
In the rain.
RequiemRequiemRequiem4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
By: Adam M. Snow
The darkness blooms on this cold still night,
Loneliness I wait; I wait for time to take flight,
But loneliness I wait; lost forevermore,
Bounded by fate of my tomorrow, dying for,
Lost forevermore like my burden upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.
Awaken now by agony and greed,
But still alone in this time of need,
Alone, with but one desire,
To fly free, not stoke the fire.
Requiem on this night upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.
A requiem like any other, sung upon dreams, so it seems.
Broken through turmoil and bliss,
I give my dying kiss to a broken reflection,
A reflection, shattered across time,
By my one tormented prime.
Like my woes overthrown by ageless affliction,
But my dying curse, my only addiction,
Lost forevermore like my burden upon dreams,
Like my past behind me, so it seems, so it seems.

When you were lost; I was there to guide you.
When you were crying at night, I wiped away your tears.
When you were scared, I cast away all your fears.
When you had no one to turn to, I was always there.
When you wanted to give up, I was the hope inside of you; the one who truly did care.
When words scarred your heart, I took away the pain.
When your life was dull, I was the sunshine through the rain.
Whenever you lost your grip, I broke the fall.
When you cried out for help, I answered the call.
When life got you down, I gave you comfort.
When you stumbled, I made sure you were unhurt.
When you were weak, I was the strength that you found.
When you couldn't reach, I lifted you up off the ground.
When you were suffering, I saw you through.
When you needed to be held, I was the one who held you.
When you were in the dark and you couldn't see, I was the light that showed you the way.
When you lost all motivation, I was the one who got you

PrayerPrayer4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
They were just two nights
When the sun vanished in the sky
And no more warmth is in sight
Just the fading prophecy between her eyes
Shinning like a never ending star
Praying to the immortal oh he that never die
To guide her spirit through this sky
To lead her to the morningstar
For she has given him life
And without her no he cant fly up skies
A falling , lifeless and flaming star was my fate
But the prophecy revealed her to me
A beauty like no mortal have ever seen
Eyes filled with gold and her skin with hareer
Her tears giving life to the unholy screams
Releasing the captured souls of those who wept in fear
Eyesless cant even make the tear
But as rain fell , their eyes started to appear
Revealing more and more of that true prophecy
That made me fall back in fear
For I have sinned and no blessings can I see
A fool who thought he can betray death
And fly to where the angels weep
But as a prayer I can only speak
Hoping for mercy from the tree that tasted my steel .

"Deeply regret [to] advise you Titanic sank this morning after collision with iceberg, resulting in serious loss of life. Full particulars later." - J. Bruce Ismay's telegram to the White Star Line
Ismay was the man to confirm what had happened to the White Star Line's American headquarters in New York City. Before that, there was massive confusion around the United States and the world to what had happened. The Titanic sinking? The ship is supposed to be unsinkable! The wireless system was still a new invention around the world. Anyone who knew how to set one up could tap out whatever they wanted. Sometimes operators would even pick up a message from one person, but then it would be finished with the message from another person. In one case, a wireless operator asked if Titanic's passengers were safe. Instead, his message was broken up into declaring that all of Titanic's passengers were safe.
The White Star Line was so confident that a disaster did not happen tha

I am not a songbird
I am a raven
My voice is hoarse from all the tears I've cried
Despite my unwelcoming appearance I am a gentle creature
A loving bird
I am not evil
I do not kill for pleasure
My cry scares off all those who hear it
They don't even listen to what I say
I am a bird of meaning
A bird of love
I do not lash out in anger unless I have reason to
I am sweet
I am caring
I am beautiful
But I am sad
I am lonely
I am unloved
You look into my eyes
And turn your head in disgust
You see my tears and spit on me
You hear my cry and kick me away
A sweet fox beacons to you
Her luxurious orange-red coat attracts you to her
And while her eyes may be smiling
She sneers at the raven
As the fox draws you into her lair
And as you sleep in her arms
The beautiful fox you now love so much sneaks out of her den
All the way to where I live
She gazed upon where I slept
Curled her lips into a fierce grin
And ate the poor raven
Who had done nothing wrong
Who wanted nothing more than to be

My name is Ariel Athena Triton, I'am suppose to get marry with a very wealthy man named Gaston Hockley, he was my dream, my mom use to tell me but to be honest I don't think she's right.
"We are here!" My mother suddenly said. Then I got out of our car and looked up to, see that ship that was going to changes my life.
"I don't see what all the fuss is about. It doesn't look any bigger than the Mauretania." I said unimpressed, I didn't really care what kind of ship I was going with it wouldn't stop my engagement. Sadly.
"You can be blase about many things, Ariel, but not about titanic." My "Fiancée" said. I looked away from him, and began to walk into the ships input. "Your daughter is much hard to impress, Gothel."

Nick sighed with relief. She had never looked forward to a stop in port quite so much as she was looking forward to Niamath. She leaned back against the cabinet and pretended that she had a few minutes to spare for a rest, instead of a mountain of dirty pots and pans awaiting her attention.
Then suddenly, a whistle blew on deck. She recognized the shrill soundshe had been chased down often enough for having missed it that Jim had spent a week refusing to use her name and only blowing the whistle to call for her. It was the call for the cabin to be on deck.

The wedding was tomorrow. Oh how those six months flew by, though to Alistair, the time just seemed to crawl. His bride-to-be was ensconced within Arl Eamon's estate, surrounded by Leliana and Wynne, while he was stuck at the palace staring at the correspondence strewn over his desk but not actually seeing what was in front of him. By Andraste's flaming sword, how was he supposed to concentrate on his duties when the day he had been looking forward to was just around the corner? In just under twenty-four hours, Reagan Cousland was to become Reagan Theirin, finally his by the laws of state and country, under the watchful gaze of the Maker. Sighing, he pushed back his chair and stood, pacing a bit before finally walking over to the beveled window to stare down at the courtyard below. A Sweet Moment
America x North Carolina
A one-off romance piece, requested by SeeUtheVocaloid
Being called the United States was always and understatement and North Carolina understood that very well, just like some of the others because of the feuds of a bygone age and the separation caused by it. Sure, all of them were under the control of America, but that did not mean they all got along or agreed with one another, and sometimes it upset her, not that she would let anyone else know of course.
North Carolina was never one to back down and her natural energetic side had often led her into arguments with some of the older or more influential members of the states. It was not that she was unlikeable, everyone had a fondness for her, but sometimes she was outspoken and joked more to hide her vulnerability, and some like Ohio liked to nag at her about it to hide his own indecisiveness!
But if there was one person she was always able to calm down in front of, then it was Alf

In fact, it was the best christmas I'd had my entire life.
Y'see, the girl in the photo, one of them is me, the other is the one that got away.
Thing is, I was dumb enough to let it happen... letting her get away, because I thought she would be better off without me, and that my life needed to be sotred out before I could give her what she needed.
Since the day we first started talking online at the request of her family, I knew I liked her.
We talked about everything, from how she could come out to people, all the way to our deepest hopes and dreams.
I just didn't know I'd end up being this stuck on her.

And now, I regret every single last bit of it.
