Coloring the WorldI color my own world,Coloring the World3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Find my happiness,
Find my joy.
Filled with sadness,
Find no hope,
Wishing someone would take note.
Lend a hand,
Maybe an ear,
To listen and show me, yes, they do care.
But nobody listened,
And I was alone again, unaware,
Of that tiny, tapping, caring sound.
I realize now I was never alone,
You were there when I had no hope,
You were there when I let myself fall.
I shut you out like the rest of the world,
But still you stayed,
You didn't let go,
And I'm glad I have you.
Because I think you've colored
My world too.

"You sound cynical."
"You sound paranoid."
"It's just honest. What worries you?"
"The fact that you are too self involved to notice."
"If I disappear."
"You idiot. Ofcourse I will notice if you disappear. I'd not
