Once upon a time, there lived a man. There was nothing particularly special or intriguing about him: he was just a man, living his relatively ordinary and simple life. In fact, the only thing in his life that was out of ordinary was that he was neighbors with two enchantresses--an apprentice and her master.
And the more skilled of the two decided she loved the man.
But of course, it wasn't a real love, but a warped, naive imitation of it. She tried to put herself into his life one day, never giving him a moment's peace. The man had only offered he the most basic courtesy and friendship, but he wasn't interested in any romance with her, so he tried to avoid her as politely as he was able. He would try to say he had prior engagements, he was late for an appointment, he was simply too busy to spend time with her...His spoken words to her were kind enough, but short and curt. With winter fast approaching, Hanana wondered if it would be a good idea to stop sleeping in the greenhouse. She understood the unfortunate consequences of trespassing, but she never disturbed anything. After all, she only slept there. To her, it was a warm, safe place to spend the night and it was filled with plants. She usually cleared out before the owners of the garden were awake.
Hanana didn't have enough for a hotel, let alone a house. What she did have had been earned from doing favors for wealthy people who had trouble with their plants. Hanana had the gift of a green thumb and enjoyed working with them. But when the winter came, nobody was really bothering with their plants. She'd saved some money for food, but it was only enough to avoid starvation.
The garden she slept in and occasionally tended to was owned by a lady named Samama, who seemed to be utterly unaware of her garden fairy. N

There was a little door in the soft pink wall. It was the last thing the platoon had been expecting to see in this weird place.
It was hardly threatening. Nothing in the candy coated dimension was threatening. Everything was a pleasant shade of pink, there were lots of flowers and there wasn't a single creepy noise to be heard.
The only thing that had turned up was a handful of enemies that were...hard to describe. They were like monsters in dreams: frightening while the dream was happening, but completely impossible to remember after they were gone.
So, the door really didn't worry any of them, even though there was some writing on it. It wasn't in any language they could recognize, so it could possibly be a warning. Not that it would have turned Giroro away from it.
