X-4

The X-4 acts as an middle-close range assault unit and as support for the X-1 by providing cover firings. Attached to an armed module which armed with 2 large beam sabers, machine guns and grenade launchers, she is capable of massacre of a small company of enemies. One important thing is that this unit also serves as an ECM unit to conduct electronic warfare and jamming communications to 'cripple' the enemies in major battles.

Most of the time, the X-4 is paired with the X-1 to penetrate enemies in the front line and due to it's sizes, the X-4 has limited spaces for actions unless she detaches from the module. Nevertheless, she can still uses a variety of hand-wield arsenals to provide fire supports for the X-1.

In February I submitted this entry for :iconudoncrew:'s MEGA MAN TRIBUTE book, and it made it in! Now that the book is about to be released, I have permission to post the piece online.

I'm honored to be featured among so many fantastic artists. For my piece, I wanted to focus on a relatively unusual character: Tengu Man. The illustration depicts my own Tengu Man design in his stage from Mega Man 8, accompanied by a Tencrow and a trio of Metall SVs.

Here's how you can get your own copy:

MEGA MAN TRIBUTE LIMITED EDITION HARDCOVER

-The book is premiering at the San Diego Comic-con at the UDON booth (#5037), July 20-24

-For fans not attending the show, you can preorder the book at UDONstore.com ([link] )

MEGA MAN TRIBUTE SOFTCOVER

-The standard softcover edition is also available for preorder on amazon.com ([link] )

XRX

When the 4 X-machines combine, they formed a larger mobile humanoid weapon called the XRX which is meant for WMD and taking down larger enemies like warships and large mobile weapons. With 2 fusion reactors from the X-2 and X-3, the XRX is 3 times powerful than the previous SRX and emits more energy output. In addition with better coolants, energy optimizer and refined T-link systems, the XRX is proved to be more efficient and packs with powerful blows.

Normal form:
Like the X-1, the XRX can also channels and harness TK energies to her fists and chops to deliver deadly blows to enemies her sizes. With the laser cannons from the X-2, she can mounts barrage of attacks on smaller enemy groups. Finally, with the refined G-sword divider from the X-4's module-the XRX's utlimate close-range weapon which can slice a warship into 2 halfs.

Solid form:
After the XRX's TK field and gravity field override, the XRX's armors change into shades of black due to increased electromagnetic field. In the Solid form, the XRX is twice more powerful and twice stronger at endurance but slower than the normal form. There's also a short time limit to maintain in that form as the pilots can only endure the gravity pressures for only 10 minutes.

Well, that's all the X-series combiner units for now and boy, that was fun back then. Hope you enjoy it:rose:

The X-KLV1 Pelleas, a Knightmare Frame using a similar frame to the Constantine Mk. III, but is otherwise a completely different and stand-alone unit. Not part of any particular generation of KMFs, it's referred to as a "Round Generation" as if to denote the fact it's a machine rolled out and intended for the Knights of the Round. The first of around twelve X-KLV units.

Finally finished. Even though this only took a few months to make, the first attempt at this that eventually became the Constantine Mk. III took three years! Damn I'm a lazy bastard. Comments and questions always welcome.

This is a Franken designed by me and thus not an original, from-scratch creation, though it includes some original tweaks and parts in the design. Arts used belong to their original creators and not me.

Finally got this one done. The CRD-3R Crusader, intended to be the original model everyone loved and played with in the original Battletech (or Battledroids) sets. Better than the Reseen version, and serves as an alternative to the rip-off artwork that got FASA in trouble.

One asterisk for the design is the fact that, logically, the SRM ammunition in the center torso cannot service the weapons mounted in the legs (nor can the machine gun ammunition for the arms!). The original Crusader artwork (if you can call it that) arguably has the SRMs mounted in the left and right torsos instead of in the legs. Since I figure this was perhaps an artistic oversight (or something) I just left it as is. If anyone (like Catalyst Game Labs, current holder of the Btech license) has issues with it, they can pay me to change it.

More or less, a complete overhaul of my original G.U.N mecha I had posted a while back.

Original version: [link]

Originally I didn't have a name for the unit type but I feel the name paladin applies nicely to the design. ^_^

color wise I wanted to spice it up a bit by adding a urban camouflage pattern to it's exterior to add a bit more realism and to also try out some new painting techniques.

Nothing much was changed with the armament save for the addition of a back mounted grenade launcher that is more akin to a MK19 grenade launcher in terms of firepower.

Was thinking of adding a type of close range weapon as well but given the overall design it's more suited for long to mid-range combat. Also to increase mobility I redesigned the heels of the feet to support wheel like gliding foils to allow it to move very quickly across the battlefield. (in terms of movement it is akin to a standard knightmare frame from the code geass anime series)

enjoy :)
