I had written this like... months ago. Before I even graduated. And I don't know why I felt so scared to put it up, probably because warriors is the only real fanfiction I've ever worked on. This was something I had done to make myself feel better, and I know there's hundereds of other fanfics where Larka ends up being alive, but yeah xD
If you read on, you'll realize how much of the original text I kept. A lot ^^
This takes place after the wolves leave Harja. This is my take on the scene where Slavka finds the pack again.
Kar was lying on his own one wintry night, though, when suddenly he looked up. A shape was making its way through the trees, approaching his family's resting place. The Varg stood and marched towar

Sonic, Tails, and Scourge tumbled out of the portal. The Warp Ring shrank and fell into Sonic's waiting hand. Scourge stood up.
Moebius. He was back. He looked around. He could see the palace on the horizon.
"You guys can leave now," Scourge said, turning to Sonic and Tails. "I'll be fine from here."
"You sure?" Sonic asked, him and Tails getting up.
"I conquered my planet by myself," Scourge said icily, rolling his eyes. "I can rescue Fiona by myself."
"You got overthrown," Sonic pointed out.
"By you and only because the Beryl Emeralds drained my strength!" Scourge snapped. "Go!"
"Whatever," Sonic said, shrugging. "Your choice."
He flicked the Warp Ring into the air. Scourge waited until the portal closed behind them to run off towards the palace. He ran across the ground, moving as fast as he could, nothing but a green blur against the grass.
"Hang on, Fiona," he murmured. "I'm coming."
Finally, he reached the palace. He stared at it. It seemed dark and ominous against the sky. Takin

Fiona's eyes shot open. She turned around. Alicia was standing behind her, hands on her hips, her whip clutched in one hand.
"You ready to talk yet?" Alicia asked, stepping forward.
Fiona glared at her in rage. "Never! I'm not betraying Scourge! Never again!"
"Oh, what a shame," Alicia said, sighing.
In a heartbeat, she had whipped out a knife and sliced it down the side of Fiona's face. She screamed, blood pouring from the cut.
"Where is he?" Alicia demanded.
"I don't know!" Fiona wailed. "I told you, I don't know! Even if I did, I'd never tell you!"
Alicia snarled and raised the knife. She sliced it down Fiona's arm. Sobbing, Fiona felt the blood trickle from the gash.
"You had better tell me," Alicia said, walking around so she was behind Fiona. "You better tell me now!"
Her whip dug into Fiona's back, reopening the whip cuts in her back. She screamed, her body racked with pain. She just wanted it to end.
The whip lashed time after time into Fiona's back, her wails getting

The whip dug into Fiona's back again. She screamed and dropped to her knees, the only thing keeping her up being the fact that chains were attaching her shackles to the ceiling.
"This is why you don't turn against us," Alicia hissed, stroking her whip. "Where's Scourge?"
Fiona fought to keep her tears at bay. "I don't know."
The whip lashed into her back again. Fiona wailed and let the tears spill out and down her cheeks onto the white gown they made her wear. It covered all of her except her back, leaving it open to Alicia's vicious whip.
"Alicia, I don't think she's about to talk."
"She will, Boomer," Alicia said, kneeling in front of Fiona. "She will. She betrayed him once, she'll betray him again. Won't you, Fiona?"
Fiona glared directly into Alicia's eyes, hate burning inside her.
"I betrayed him once," she rasped painfully. "I'm not making that mistake again."
Alicia slapped Fiona harshly across her face. She winced, her cheek burning from the hit.

It didn't take much effort for Andrew to avoid the dark figure that projected toward him. Andrew swung his torso and hands up toward the furry beast, grabbing on to the arms that were reaching for him. Even as a human, Andrew effortlessly swung the airborne werewolf against the wall, shattering the window near by. He could tell whoever this was, was newly turned, and incredibly inexperienced at attacks. A real werewolf would have done this much faster. He also discovered that the werewolf was a female.
Andrew stepped back, panting. The energy exerted to toss his enemy caused a break in his physical concentration, and it took everything he had to prevent from shifting again. Remaining human was key if he was to keep Mel on his side. Andrew could feel his eyes glowing and his teeth wanting to shift into fangs. Fiona slipped through the palace hallways silently and stealthily. Moonlight shone through the windows lining the hallway. She gripped her gun tightly. This was it. No turning back.
She stopped and peered around the corner. Two guards were in the hallway. She loaded her gun.
"The second I do this," she thought, "I can't turn back. I'll have to keep going."
Taking a deep breath, she leapt out into the hallway.
The guards didn't even have time to react. Within seconds they lay on the ground, bullets lodged in their necks. Fiona rushed past their dead bodies, panting with fear and worry. All she had was herself and her gun against a palace full of guards. She shoved her fear aside and raced through the hallways, determined to reach her destination.
Every guard she ran into met similar fates. She ran through the halls, firing bullets, killing guard after guard, and stopping only to reload her gun.
Guards dropped dead everywhere, blood oozing from the bullet wounds that killed

Scourge's eyes shot open. He leapt to his feet.
"FIONA?!" He shouted.
Without even thinking for one moment, he rushed off at the speed of sound to where her scream had come from. He arrived in time to see Alicia and Patch drag her through a Warp Ring.
He dove for the portal, only to do a face-plant into the dirt when it closed behind them. He lay there for a few moments, tears trickling down his face, then sat up.
"Fiona ," he whispered.
He got to his feet. What now? Should he rescue her?
"No," he thought. "She betrayed you for money. Let her suffer."
"But I still love her!" He muttered. "I don't want to leave her at the Suppression Squad's mercy!"
"But she betrayed you "
"I don't care!" He screamed at himself. "I'm rescuing her, and that's that!"
That was one problem solved. He had a feeling they would be keeping her at Moebius's palace prison, so that solved another. That just left one more.
Where was he?

Scourge leaned against a tree and closed his eyes, sparking Chaos energy between his fingertips.
"Glad I rescued you from the No Zone, huh?"
Scourge opened his eyes and smiled. Fiona was walking towards him in all her amazing, majestic beauty, her smile outshining even the sun.
"Yeah," he murmured as she stood next to him. "I'm glad you did."
He turned to face her. She was staring at him with her warm, gorgeous blue gaze. She slowly wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Smiling, Scourge wrapped his arms around her waist. They leaned forward, their lips meeting together in a kiss. Scourge pressed his hand against the back of her head, pushing her lips even more so against his.
"I love her," Scourge thought. "Oh, do I love her!"
Slowly, they pulled away, staring into each other's gaze. Neither wanted to move.
"I love you, babe," he murmured, stroking the side of her face.
"I love you, too," Fiona whispered, gently kissing him again.

"Thanks for saving me."
Scourge turned to Fiona and smiled. She was sitting next to him, her gentle blue eyes shining with love.
"No problem," he said. "After all, you saved me."
"Yeah, but you were captured in the first place because of me," she said sadly.
He kissed the bandaged side of her face. "One, I was mostly referring to you rescuing me from the No Zone. Two, I think you suffered more than enough for what happened."
He gently wrapped an arm around her, careful not to rest his arm on the area of her back where she'd been whipped. Which was almost everywhere. It felt weird to feel the loose, soft black T-shirt she was wearing instead of her black leather top, something she wasn't going to wear until her back healed, for her own comfort's sake. He pressed his head against hers.
"Think Alicia will come after us?" Fiona asked.

Scourge raced down the hallways, determined to reach the prison. He'd once lived within these walls. He knew where it was.
He finally reached it. Two guards stood in his way. With a snarl, he blasted them both with Chaos energy, sending them flying into the wall and blacking-out. He walked up to the door. One round-house kick broke it open. He rushed down the steps.
"Please let her be safe, please let her be safe, please let her be safe," Scourge pleaded mentally.
He raced past cell after cell. No sign of Fiona. Now he was scared. What if they'd killed her?
He reached the end of the cells. In front of him was a door, one he'd never entered but that Alicia had told him about.
The torture chamber.
He was about to turn around and leave when he heard a loud, awful wail. All of his quills stood on end. He recognized that pained scream.
"FIONA!" He shouted, blasting the door open.
Inside the room were two figures. Alicia was staring at him in shock, holding a bloody knife pressed up a

Fiona sat up on a hill, watching Scourge sleep. He looked so peaceful Her eyes filled with tears. How could she have made such a stupid mistake?
She pulled out the hundred dollars she'd received from Alicia. Tears slipped down her face. She closed her eyes. She DID love him. She loved him more than she could put into words.
But it was too late. She'd sacrificed love for money.
"I'm so sorry, Scourge!" She sobbed. "I'm so sorry!"
She wished she could turn back time, undo what she had done. She tore up the money and threw the scraps into the wind, tears flowing down her face.
"SCOURGE, I'M SORRY!" She wailed into the night.
She sucked in a fast breath when she saw Scourge stir slightly in his sleep. When he didn't get up, she breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't want to wake him.
She stood up and started to pace.
"What am I going to do?" She asked herself. "The man I love hates me and for good reason."
She sighed. "Maybe I should just give up."
"You're right, you should."

Andrew pulled up to the office building. It was already very busy with traffic going every which way on the corner street. Large crowds of people lined up at each corner to cross. "Do you want to come in with me?" Andrew asked leaning over to Rabeka, who was just waking up from a light nap.
"No, I'm going to stay here and sleep," she said, in between a few yawns.
"You're OK with being by yourself?" he asked, surprised.
"There's too many people around for them to notice me. The mob isn't that stupid. I have my phone on me though."
"OK, have it ready to dial me if there's something wrong."
"I will," she said, leaning her seat all the way back and throwing her jacking over her face.
Andrew ran his hand down her hair. She'll be OK, he reassured himself.
He cut the engine and hopped out of his Mazda. The air was thick with traffic smoke, rather difficult to pick up on any smells, but he doubted anyone from the mob would be in such a crowded place, however, if they kne

"Wake up, Scourge! Oh gosh, which key opens this?!"
That voice. Scourge's eyes snapped open. He sat up quickly and turned around. The woman that gave him so many conflicting feelings was furiously trying to open his cell.
"C'mon, where's the right key?" Fiona muttered.
He stared at her in shock and distrust. Why on Moebius was she trying to open his cell door?
Finally, she found the right key. She unlocked his door and swung it wide open.
"Hurry!" She said. "It probably won't be long until guards show up! They probably heard my gunshots!"
Scourge stared at her in cold distrust. Why would she help him? After all, she didn't love him.
"Please, Scourge!" She pleaded. "Trust me!"
Trust her? After she'd betrayed him for money? He turned around in contempt. He could never trust her again.

No. There was no way he was trusting her again.

He stood in front of Alicia, his angry gaze practically burning right through her.
"How could you do that to her?!" He snarled.
Alicia looked scared. Fiona didn't blame her. She was at Scourge's mercy, and she'd really ticked him off.

Fiona flinched. Alicia had a point. Why would he care?
