Exile: Chapter 1Exile: Chapter 14 years ago in Fantasy More Like This
A half moon shone down on the moorlands of WindClan territory. On the border lay two cats, huddled together in the darkness. An Abyssinian-and-white she-cat raised her head, blinking the sleep from her bright green eyes. She rose and stretched, then raised one white paw to lick it thoughtfully. Tonight would be the night that she would be with the other medicine cats, meeting at the Moonpool. Then she hissed softly as she remembered how she was exiled from her own Clan, her and her brother falsely accused of the murder of Webfoot. The she-cat flicked her white tipped tail uneasily as she recalled how it had been Tigerstar who had killed

It constantly claws at my soul,
Ripping the life from it.
It scars my heart
As it rips its sheenful talons across it.
It rears its deceitful head,
Plunging its sharpened fangs into my soul.
Envenoming the very being of me.
My soul pours to the floor,
Drop by drop.
My life reflected on the shimmering melanoid tiles.
Cold, murky blood runs through the endless cracks.
Is this the way my life shall end?
I always felt it would be a relieving thing, a blissful thing.
That the sun would shine and the flowers blossom.
I was wrong.
It is neither relieving nor blissful.
Tis a painful thing,
The tearing of the soul from the b

I want him to train me.
Is that too much to ask?
To unleash my full potential,
Be the strongest woman of all.
He hesitates and ignores me,
No matter what I say.
But the simple fact is this,
I'm a saiyan and I'm his sister.
I don't want him to worry about me,
When we're on the battlefield.
If he will train me,
I'll have his back.
Two siblings fighting as one.

On a shiny summer day, somewhere in a distant valley, far away from us, fate was going to set the prolouge of a great story:
"Grandpa! I'm back! Look what I have found!! Yummy dinner today!" the young boy yelled out full of happiness and pride while waving with his arms to catch the glace of the old man. The boy had pitch-black hair, which were standing from his head like it wants to defeat earth's gravity. But that wasn't the most remarkable aspect of him. That attribute goes to the brown fury tail he had on his butt! To complete the picture of strangeness the boy was just carrying a big wolf!
"Good job, Goku! Good idea! Bring it inside!"

A Damning SecretI'm locked inside myself,A Damning Secret4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Only two choices are evident.
But which of these is the right one?
Which of these will free me?
One will lead to sure misery,
The other to a fate unknown.
I can keep the beast locked in the cage.
That is a clear path,
A path that will lead to certain misery.
But in this misery other things will be attained.
In this misery there is but the smallest twinkle of light,
The smallest spark of hope.
I can free the beast inside,
Let him run rampant.
Wondrous happenings can come from it,
What I dream of most can arise.
Or instantaneous damnation will ensue.
Would it be worth it?
Would the knowledge alone be

WonderingsWonderings2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Sometimes
I like to wonder.
You know
Just let any thoughts
I've had recently
Flow through my head.
They can be good
Or they can be bad.
They can be cheery
Or they can be sad.
It really doesn't matter
If it's a thought I've had.
Some thoughts I'll remember
Others I won't
Some I wish I didn't have
And others I just don't.
But enough of this jibberjabber.
The fact of the matter
Is that my mind will rot
If all it's taught
Is to sit around
With no ideas to be found.
Or if pointless rhymes
Waste my time.
So releasing it's shackles
I let it run free
No longer
Trying so hard
To make words fit
But simply accept

Drift Away
We can take a wandering detour off the ski slope.
Stray into the trees where no one
has skied before and powder is waist deep,
with the soft gliding sound of sliding skis
being all it takes to fill the thin empty air.
Release our feet and sit enclosed by the snow and each other,
angled perfectly, whiteness supporting us.
Unwrap the lunch we brought with us
and eat with icy fingers and warm hearts,
noses and ears so numb
that when I press my face against yours
I can only faintly feel the cool smoothness of your cheek.
Everywhere is the same picturesque evergreen,
embedded in an endless purity of snow,
beneath perfecti

You can help yourself
You ask for a love song
I give you a poem filled
with hate
You ask for pain
I give you a picture of you
You ask for me to agree
I only spit in your face and
scrape dirt on your floor
You ask for blood
I give you a pack of ketchup
You ask for love
and I only shake my head and say
"I already have..many many times"

Another announcement, another point added to the disaster unfolding
I'm here by the T.V, while its hope still that I see myself holding
The sun is but bright, but warm in the sky so blue
Clouds around here are rolling on by too
But by the towers, and by my husband are they blacker than smoke
Through the screen shows another veil, another form of hatred
But why? But how? Answers swirling in my head that I wish were answered
How could someone be so cold, to murder their own kindred
Why would someone believe, their life for sacrifice be achieving something?
Suicide they say, is a permanent answer, for a temporary problem

This tool of distortion
used to corrupt the
perceptions of reality
Comforted behind
unknown barriers.
The world as I see
through clear lens
has messed my senses.
My obsession with capturing
unsought beauty has seized me
though, frustrated with
unwanted outcome.
An image captured
for my collection of silly
things for me to ponder upon
Behind the camera
I feel safe, never
want to be the subject
of its eye.

How do you beat the Devil? How do you beat the Devil?2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
How do you beat the Devil
when he is everywhere
at the store,
in your bed,
and even in your shower.
he sneaks, he creeps,
he peeps, he leaps,
he's always all about.
Then how do you beat the Devil
when he is everywhere
you fight, you bite,
you kick, you scream,
you even cite the Bible,
Is this how you beat the Devil.
Then why does he still follow
and when you weep and wallow,
he seeps in your sorrow
but when you laugh
he steps back
and when all you love
comes from up above
You see how to defeat the Devil
you fight him at your spirits level.
