Entrance To The Dark ForestEntrance To The Dark Forest6 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Come in, come in...
Why go back home, why turn around?
The forest calls.. Can’t you hear the sound?
Come in, come in...
There is nothing to lose, and everything to win;
for this, this is not like anywhere you've ever been.
Here the trees twist, the branches twine
the twigs crack, the leaves rustle.
You won't get far, not moving a muscle.
Don't be afraid...
You could always stay
just till darkness falls?
Move.. come on, the forest calls!
Go on, and don't look back
Just follow the track, step by step.
No need to bring water, no need to bring bread

"I'm not crying, I just have something in my eyes."
"You can't lie to me, tell me. I thought I was your best friend."
"It's nothing, leave it"
"Tell me, what seems to be bothering you"
"And what would that be?"
"I don't know."
"Come on you can tell me."
"Life is hard"
He smiles and says "is that what's bothering you?"
She nods sobbingly
"Well, it's your life isn't it? Your life will be the way you see it. Go on with life
with a positive approach and nothing will be difficult. It's your life, take it where you want to go."
Hearing this, the tears stopped.
"My friends betrayed me."
He didn't even have to think before he answered.
"If they were really your friends they would of never betrayed you. Isn't it a good thing? You finally learnt who your real friends are."
He was right, she thought.
"My boyfriend dumped me for another girl."
"He might have never loved you dear. It's better he is gone or he would of hurt you mo

As I kiss her into the bed.
Her mouth is parted,
Inviting me in.
She's never acted this way before.
Always alone, always sulking.
But now she's opened up
She's shown me her scars, her tears.
I lick her neck right under the chin
She squirms under me, sighing for more.
But I don't.
Laying down besides her,
I kiss her on the head.
She may pout in protest,
But I just pull her closer.
Until she's wrapped in my arms.
She fits me, like a puzzle piece.
I'm not ever letting her go,
Not even if she dies.

Black smoke spirals high into the sky,
Like demonic fingers reaching to grab the clouds.
Ash descends like fiery rain
Onto the sidewalks of New York City.
An explosion is heard,
And Tower number two is hit.
The planes had driven their wings into the Twin Towers,
And the terrorists drove their stakes into the hearts of Americans.
People stood and watched,
As their loved ones became trapped,
And it seemed like there was no hope
An earth-shattering noise,
And Tower Two collapsed.
Dust and debris swirled in a suffocating tornado;
Endangering those who were around.
People cried and ran,
For they knew people in the Tower.
Another horrifying noise,
And Tower One came down too.
Now there was nothing left but rubble,
And the time it took to clear it away.
Now I stand on the edge of Ground Zero
Just ten short years later.
The chilling ghosts of the bravest voices in history
Echo softly around the site.
The pain we've endured over the course of these years
Is permanently etched into

'We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts.'
-"The Pursuit of God" by A.W.Tozer
Her fingers don't trail across the spine of her Bible the way that they used to. After the wedding, it was the most amazing year long honeymoon until Sonya's father passed away. No, they hadn't been close, but somehow it rocked her boat so horribly that even her comfort zone was uncomfortable to remain in. Arms wrapped around herself; she hid within a darkened corner and rocked herself back and forth until she calmed down only to stand up in a rage and scream until her lungs gave out.
Anger. Fury. Rage. Blind, unsettling rage. It rocked her boat yet more furiously and, yes, her eyes were on the storm. Not just the storm that He'd allowed, but at the storm she was creating by looking away. The storm she allowed to swell by not focusing and taking back her all for herself. Her rage slammed several holes into her

First and last,
I know the color of your eyes,
And how they take me aback,
I don't know your favorite flower,
But with it I want to fill your room,
I don't know your favorite movie,
But I hope to see it soon,
If it takes a lifetime to know you,
Let's start today,
Because if today is all we have,
I have only this to say:
I like you.

As the days grow cold
And the nights dark
It's your sunshine that
Keeps me at ease
Even on the gloomiest of days
when the clouds reign the skies
And a bitter breeze brushes by
So paint me in your sunshine
for me to follow hand in hand
Remember me by your side
So I can keep my ray of sunshine

Falling like the autumn leaves,
Gracefully to the ground.
My nervous chest pounds and heaves,
And my cheeks flush red.
You were the breeze that picked me up,
And threw me through the air,
Sending me spiraling and spinning around,
Although you never said you'd play fair.
Soaring through this uplifting high,
Changing hues at your smile,
Dizzying spins throw me around.
My composure's now abandoned me,
It's been gone for awhile.
My crimson heart floats through the sky,
Propelled by the autumn breeze,
Plunging through the crisp, clear sky,
Not making a single sound
One question haunts my weary mind.
"Will you catch me before I hit the ground?
Or will I end up like the rest,
Dead and shriveled on this cold autumn ground?"
Final Fantasy Afterstory 10Lightning had trouble sleeping, her mind swirled as she thought of all the possible scenarios that would play out the next day, Serah might not be angry and may have accepted it... although that was quickly dismissed, Serah would banish her away from her and Snow never to see either of them again, maybe Snow would be cast out as well, every single possibility brought different emotions and feelings, all of which prevented her from sleeping. "You know where I am..." the words of a friend she had thrown back into the night as if he was a stranger. "I love you..." this time it was her own words that caused her pain. She winced in guilt and regret. Then for the first time in days her true feelings exerted themselves, if only for a moment, his face, his bright, cheerful face, flashed across her mind causing her heart to burn painfully for him, it was a sin and she knew it, but she couldn't help it, she couldn't control who she loved, could she? Licks of fire, burning paper
Where they etch and score their
Meanings with absolute passion.
The faint, illusory scent of make-believe
Smoke surrounds me like a shroud:
An ensorcelled cloak, its hem stitched with a
Magical thread that imbues me with the
Power of words, its fabric dyed
Dark, shimmering with shades of ambition.
Creatures of all forms and ages begin to
Flit across my page with alarming clarity.
Voices - strident and shy, tenacious and meek -
All attempt to make their stories heard:
There are adventures to be spun in
Stimulating hues of royal blue and jade;
Romances to be told in the
Swelling notes of a sweet serenade;
Downfalls to be declared by the knell of
Death as he leads a doleful black parade.
Day after day, my Muse leads me from
Forest to meadow to coast to city, opening
Portals through which I can glimpse
Alternate realities and different lands altogether,
That I may understand the

but there's so many lyrics that its too long
So I'll write a compilation of music instead
and make sure to say all thats been in my head
Track one will be how we came to be
At first so wild, young, and free
track two will be to romance you
with just enough rhythym to dance to.
Track three will be as sensual as a lustful night
But still like a love ballad done just right
Track four, a melody for lovers who follow their heart
and will try to stay strong even while they're apart
for now track five will remain unwritten
but one things for sure is that I'm smitten
Even if the rest of the lyrics become sad
I'll still remember the songs we had
The harmony we have i could never regret
and the sexy tango we dance to i could never forget
So i'll continue singing you every note in my soul
with the hopes you'll keep making my songs whole
for your heart is the beat i need to hear
and your love is the melody that i hold dear.

Like I'd loved no one else
You were perfect in everyway,
Nothing out of place,
I wanted to hold your hand,
Until I was forced to let go
Your smile brightened my day,
And made those rainy days,
Go so far away,
I'd never have to see them again
The feel of your skin against mine,
Sent shivers up my spine,
At how warm your touch,
Come closer to me,
And make me forget all that is wrong,
So I can love you,
And only you
They've broken me,
To the point where these pieces,
Are going to be hard,
To piece back together
You never gave up hope,
Of making this heart of mine,
Feel so warm once again,
It's like a dream come true
I never knew that you could,
Make me feel so whole inside,
It's so warm in here,
And it's all thanks to you
I've made a place here,
With your name tattooed,
On the outside,
For all these people to see
Tonight lets break free,
Of all of out regrets,
And lets hold hands,
Like we used to do
Lets sit on the couch,
And watch a movie,

Into every single life
A little rain must fall
but why, oh why is my life
the wettest of them all?
Drowned by strains of hurricanes
of poxes, plagues, and pests.
Or a certain missing pencil
for a certain vexing test
My assets all are squandered
My fortunes soon deprived
And when I think it's ending
It's only just arrived
My spirits bare are lonely
and I haven't any friends
Thank God for Revelations
or I'd think this was the end
Through all the tribulations
of trials, tests, and woe
One wonders if our very lives
Are nothing but a show
A play that is a comedy
For laughs they watch our pain
I know this all for certain
Cause I know it's bout' to rain...
