Come in, come in...
Why go back home, why turn around?
The forest calls.. Can’t you hear the sound?
Come in, come in...
There is nothing to lose, and everything to win;
for this, this is not like anywhere you've ever been.
Here the trees twist, the branches twine
the twigs crack, the leaves rustle.
You won't get far, not moving a muscle.
Don't be afraid...
You could always stay
just till darkness falls?
Move.. come on, the forest calls!
Go on, and don't look back
Just follow the track, step by step.
No need to bring water, no need to bring bread
The optimist and The pessimist"Why are you crying my dear?" He asks with worried eyesThe optimist and The pessimist4 years ago in Philosophical More Like This
"I'm not crying, I just have something in my eyes."
"You can't lie to me, tell me. I thought I was your best friend."
"It's nothing, leave it"
"Tell me, what seems to be bothering you"
"And what would that be?"
"I don't know."
"Come on you can tell me."
"Life is hard"
He smiles and says "is that what's bothering you?"
She nods sobbingly
"Well, it's your life isn't it? Your life will be the way you see it. Go on with life
with a positive approach and nothing will be difficult. It's your life, take it where you want to go."
Hearing this, the tears stopped.
"My friends betrayed me."
He didn't even have to think before he answered.
"If they were really your friends they would of never betrayed you. Isn't it a good thing? You finally learnt who your real friends are."
He was right, she thought.
"My boyfriend dumped me for another girl."
"He might have never loved you dear. It's better he is gone or he would of hurt you mo

Black smoke spirals high into the sky,
Like demonic fingers reaching to grab the clouds.
Ash descends like fiery rain
Onto the sidewalks of New York City.
An explosion is heard,
And Tower number two is hit.
The planes had driven their wings into the Twin Towers,
And the terrorists drove their stakes into the hearts of Americans.
People stood and watched,
As their loved ones became trapped,
And it seemed like there was no hope
An earth-shattering noise,
And Tower Two collapsed.
Dust and debris swirled in a suffocating tornado;
Endangering those who were around.
People cried and ran,
For they knew people in the Tower.
Another horrifying noise,
And Tower One came down too.
Now there was nothing left but rubble,
And the time it took to clear it away.
Now I stand on the edge of Ground Zero
Just ten short years later.
The chilling ghosts of the bravest voices in history
Echo softly around the site.
The pain we've endured over the course of these years
Is permanently etched into

Your memory carried me through countless nights
Nothing more than a glorified incubus
Your serpent words wrapping there way around my heart
We both need to move on, fellow lost soul,
The coming dawn waits for no one.
I'm only your princess when no one else is looking
A pet trained to come when your lonely.
I can't wait forever for you to make up your mind
The fading night leaves everyone behind.
I would have been your everything if I only had a chance
But we are young and your heart wanders while I look on
My wounds heal, your poison drains away leaving a clear mind
With my face to the rising sun, I am born.
It is your turn to wake up Lord of dreams and wishes
My hands once reached out to you, craving the feel of your skin
Bitter reality waits to greet you as I walk away with few glances back
The moon sets and a young girl dies.
Hours spent missing what never was is a heavy burden
My shoulders feel free once again and I pray you find the same peace
The fissures and cracks in a young he

sometimes like we've never met,
at times i find myself remembering,
the things i know i should forget,
sometimes i sit back and wonder,
why I'm still around,
but i know theres gotta be something,
thats lost but will be found,
A confused heart,
cant love for sure,
a confused love,
is something that we endure,
a confused girl,
who's stuck in a state of hate,
cant love a confused boy,
who's apology came too late

As I kiss her into the bed.
Her mouth is parted,
Inviting me in.
She's never acted this way before.
Always alone, always sulking.
But now she's opened up
She's shown me her scars, her tears.
I lick her neck right under the chin
She squirms under me, sighing for more.
But I don't.
Laying down besides her,
I kiss her on the head.
She may pout in protest,
But I just pull her closer.
Until she's wrapped in my arms.
She fits me, like a puzzle piece.
I'm not ever letting her go,
Not even if she dies.

'We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts.'
-"The Pursuit of God" by A.W.Tozer
Her fingers don't trail across the spine of her Bible the way that they used to. After the wedding, it was the most amazing year long honeymoon until Sonya's father passed away. No, they hadn't been close, but somehow it rocked her boat so horribly that even her comfort zone was uncomfortable to remain in. Arms wrapped around herself; she hid within a darkened corner and rocked herself back and forth until she calmed down only to stand up in a rage and scream until her lungs gave out.
Anger. Fury. Rage. Blind, unsettling rage. It rocked her boat yet more furiously and, yes, her eyes were on the storm. Not just the storm that He'd allowed, but at the storm she was creating by looking away. The storm she allowed to swell by not focusing and taking back her all for herself. Her rage slammed several holes into her

First and last,
I know the color of your eyes,
And how they take me aback,
I don't know your favorite flower,
But with it I want to fill your room,
I don't know your favorite movie,
But I hope to see it soon,
If it takes a lifetime to know you,
Let's start today,
Because if today is all we have,
I have only this to say:
I like you.

Made a wrong turn, once or twice.
Dug my way out, blood and fire.
She put her face in her hands, ignoring the raging thoughts in her head, the constant screaming of that little voice that tried to show her just how worthless she was. Now was not the time to start paying attention to the annoying little creature.
Bad decisions, that's alright.
Welcome to my silly life.
A tear rolled down her cheek, and she growled. She hadn't crawled out of the States custody as good as she was now. It had taken years for her to get over the bull, to move one more step forward and try to live that extra day.
Mistreated, misplaced, misunderstood.
Miss, "No way, it's all good."
It didn't slow me down.
The molestation. The rape. The suicide attempt. The lie
Our Secret PlaceThe meadow stretched as far as the eye could see; the thin blades of grass waves softly in the gentle breeze. The light scent of flowers floated in the air. The sky was a deep shade of blue and there was not a cloud in sight. Our Secret Place4 years ago in Romance More Like This
In the centre of the meadow was a tall tree. Sitting against the trunk of this tree was a blond teen. If he were to stand he would be tall and slightly muscular. If he were to open his eyes, they would be the same colour as the sky. In his arms, rested another teen however he was completely different to his companion. His unruly blond hair blew in the wind lightly and his thick eyebrows were drawn into a slight frown. His emerald eyes looked forward to the horizon. What made him different to his companion were the large white wings that were folded against his back.
His companion shifted his position slightly, the arms encircling him tightening their grip slightly. The angel let a small smile grace his lips at the sense of protection he felt from sitting with the
