A grin spread across my face. We can sell this...and...and become rich! I yelled out loud.
But I didn't care, knowing no one heard me. But before I could do anything else.
A stabbing pain hit my the hand that was holding the gem. The gem turned black as I threw it
to the ground. It crumbled to pieces. I wasn't focused on that though. I was focused on my
hand. Spreading across it, were pitch black scales. I stared as the scales spread across my
arm...then onto my chest. Another pain hit me. as two of my fingers on my right hand merge.

I was absolutely horrified. The scales had just covered my whole body. When my teeth started

I woke up, a bit drowsy but i could tell someone was beckoning for me to wake.
I opened my eyes and my annoying sister was looking at me. "Hey Joe, its time for
your first day of sixth grade." My sister, Sasha said. Cant it wait until im not tired? I
replied. "Oh im sorry, I guess i'll just tell mom that you committed suicide." she said.
I sighed, hoping she could tell i was annoyed, then sat up. She then left the room, going to
get herself breakfast. I changed clothes. then went to get myself breakfast, then brushed my,
teeth, hoping that the day would be over fast enough. My name was Joseph...
When I arrived at school I was braced for bullies to single me out, and be assaulted by
insults, and names. Bullies never had a reason to pick on me, I never wore glasses, I wasn't

I sighed as the teacher finished talking. We were to have yet ANOTHER math test. As if my
after school life of being bullied for a living was'nt bad enough, I silently thought.
The bell rang, and the students left. Hey Carter where do you think your going? Asked my
seventh grade math teacher. Yes? I asked. This is the forth time you've been 5 minutes late.
If you dont stop it, you will be given a whole week of detention, 2 hours a day. He said
sternly. Okay sir, maybe i'll buy you a cola every day if you asked me to. I said
sarcasticly. I walked out of class. Before he could even make a remark. I eventually reached
the edge of the school courtyard, before I turned around and noticed the 4 assholes who
constantly pick on me for LITTERALLY no reason. I started to run faster, and saw my friend.
Run....I whispered. He quickly glanced, and saw the 4 of the bullies gaining pace. OH no.
He remarked. We both broke into a run, as they started after us. We pushed people aside

It had a large blood stain,....How bad can that wound still be? I carefully opened the bandage opened the bandage and was
shocked at what I saw. The spot where...taht thing hit...was entirely healed....even more shocking. There was blackness in

Have the doctors noticed already?? What are they going to do to me if they do find out?!
I was still racing my thoughts through my mind, when a single doctor entered a room. Ah, hello boy. The doctor greeted.
Ughh, hello. I replied groggily. So, how do you feel? He quistioned. Im feeling much better, but my head still hurts.

Someone was talking, a few weeps in their voice, and it was getting closer. I looked around
the cave, looking for an alternate exit. But to no avail. I quietly walked over to the end
of the cave where the darkness would somewhat hide me, and crouched there.
The voice kept getting closer, and I recongnized it now, it was my sister's voice. I saw her
enter the cave, and she looked around, not yet noticing me. I got as far as back until a
wall stopped me. There was also something else, there was a voice in my mind, trying to
pursuade me to kill her. And it almost did....
My dragon instincts made me leap into the air. She saw me, and her face suddenly, changed
into an expression of pure horror. She ran, but didn't make it far. I pinned her to the
ground with my paw and claws. I raised my one claw, preparing to impale and kill her.
But I was able to restrain myself, and let her go. She didn't hesitate, she ran but looked

I had not eaten all day. My black scales though would provide an excellent camoflauge.
I searched around the woods, looking for something that would suffice for me, when I spotted a lone deer, in a wheat field.
I proned, getting ready to leap after it. I sprang my back legs and soar into the air, but the deer saw me, and countered my

Jessie had always been obsessed with dragons, ever since he was a little kid, which is why he was overjoyed when he got a good deal on a cabin in a section of mountains known as "Dragon Alley" so called because more people had claimed to have seen dragons there over the years than anywhere else. He had to split the bills with his friend Will, but it was still great.
Everyone at work, at school, and even his friends and family told him he was crazy his whole life, but he knew dragons had to be real, there was just too much evidence to support it.
Another thing that made him really glad about the purchase was that the area was full of caves. Anyone who had done the slightest bit of research knew dragons preferred to live in caves, and as part of his research, Jessie planned on exploring every one on his 50 acre propriety.
In his new cabin, he was getting ready to head off for the nearest marked cave on his map "Just promise me you

Shaun was forced to look downwards and hold his head between his hands due to the pain from seeing a bright light at the entrance of the room, but he soon felt her soft delicate hands on his skull, and a bit of green hair made its way into his vision.

It was a year and a half ago when dragons started popping up in society. It turned out that most of them where once humans that became transformed into dragons and they just wanted to return home. Almost a full month after the first dragons started appearing a war broke out. They called themselves "The Clan", and launched a full scale war across the globe. The military

These questions ran through 16 year old Josh's mind. His friends had always said he was like a dragon, even earning him the nickname "Dragon Boy" among his group of friends. Regardless of his nickname, Josh himself loved dragons. Even at 16, he had always wished he could meet one. Oddly enough, Josh could actually sympathsize more with dragons than with most humans.
Some of Josh's "dragon-like" traits were the fact that he was a loner. He didn't have many friends. The reason for his having so little friends was because he was very skeptical about new people, even more so than most others. He also hated being around a lot of people. Whenever he was in a large group, even if it wasn't that many people, he always felt too cramped. His parents and teachers thought he may possibly have had some form of autism.

No, not because he wasn't going to enjoy this field trip to what was supposedly the cavern of the Dragon God Bahamut, but because he knew that he was going to be tormented by classmates the entire time. For some obscure reason, Henry was a target for his college's bullies and tormenters. To make matters worse, Henry's best friend, Jeffery, was roped into the torment simply because he was Henry's friend. As the group continued down the tunnel, a girl with long, black hair and glasses tapped Henry's shoulder, asking "Say, does this cavern look familiar to you?"
Henry took a moment to think, and realized that the cavern did look oddly familiar. "Sure does, Kim. Why do you ask?"
The girl, Kim, replied to Henry's inquiry, saying "Well, it looks familiar to me, also. Not too sure why "
