It's been a while since I posted the Yakuza Bodypaint images - tonight I remembered that I had these indoor shots after seeing the artwork that Pin Up artist Nicole Brune is working on based on this look of mine.

These were the first shot we took after completing the bodypaint. The quality of these indoor photos are low due to not having a proper studio set up, hence we went outside (hiding me nekkidness as much as possible from the public eeep!) for the really nice location photos (see below).

But you can see the paint job and colors really well in these pics!

About the project: In October 2009 I was painted up by Master Body Painter Nick Wolfe! We've been friends for years but never had the chance to collaborate before this bodypaint. Nick suggested something Asian inspired and I blurted out "Yakuza tattoo!" and the idea for this theme was born!

Nick did the painting in 4 and a half hours, using Diamond FX paint. He looked up the kanjis for "Dragon Queen" and painted them as well.
For those who don't take the time to read my Profile info, yes I am the model in these images.
I did the face makeup and hair, inspired by traditional Japanese Geisha, and modernized. I also bought traditional Japanese hair pins, and the over kimono was made by me, originally for my XXXHolic cosplay. I love being able to re-use costume parts haha. Close up of the dragon, painted by Nick Wolfe. The kanji in the golden sphere is "dragon" of course.

One of my favorite Sigma 6 figures aside from Lt Stone was the Battlefield Cobra Commander. So I decided to recreate him in 3 3/4" scale. His body is that of the Iron Man Mark V, Broken Arrow cast helmet, vest from POC Firefly, staff from POC CC, cape section from ML Dr Strange, Serpentor's skirt, and the from part of Spiderman Mandrin's armor.

I took some liberties in adding more red inside the armor where the Mark V had the scaled effect and even included his giant missile launcher and pistol. His helmet comes off to reveal...?

”We were amazed at the new technology that War Zone brought with him when he joined the Joe team. Most notable were the designs to build lightweight mecha that could be used in both urban and combat areas. The Iron Strike mech is one of the combat units used for long/medium range assaults. It's equipped with twin gauss cannons, a smaller laser cannon, and twin front mounted machine guns. Also it has a retractable claw for rescue or removing debris from its path, a great additon. Currently Scarlett has trained in piloting this version and she's loving every minute of it, crushing B.A.T.s beneath the Iron Strike's armored feet and blowing away HISS tanks from a distance! ”

The Iron Strike mecha was made from the smaller-scaled Sigma 6 Iron Hammer with new side cannons from a Kid Connections playset, neo shifters arm, and various fodder parts. The entire inside cockpit had to be yanked and redesigned to accomodate the 3 3/4" scale figures. Scarlett was the basic Scarlett given new pouch and armor accessories.
