It's been a while since I posted the Yakuza Bodypaint images - tonight I remembered that I had these indoor shots after seeing the artwork that Pin Up artist Nicole Brune is working on based on this look of mine.

These were the first shot we took after completing the bodypaint. The quality of these indoor photos are low due to not having a proper studio set up, hence we went outside (hiding me nekkidness as much as possible from the public eeep!) for the really nice location photos (see below).

But you can see the paint job and colors really well in these pics!

About the project: In October 2009 I was painted up by Master Body Painter Nick Wolfe! We've been friends for years but never had the chance to collaborate before this bodypaint. Nick suggested something Asian inspired and I blurted out "Yakuza tattoo!" and the idea for this theme was born!

Nick did the painting in 4 and a half hours, using Diamond FX paint. He looked up the kanjis for "Dragon Queen" and painted them as well.
For those who don't take the time to read my Profile info, yes I am the model in these images.
I did the face makeup and hair, inspired by traditional Japanese Geisha, and modernized. I also bought traditional Japanese hair pins, and the over kimono was made by me, originally for my XXXHolic cosplay. I love being able to re-use costume parts haha. Close up of the dragon, painted by Nick Wolfe. The kanji in the golden sphere is "dragon" of course.

The Baroness is part of a line of redesigns that place the Joes and Cobras in WWII on the sides of the Allied and Axis powers.

She has her classic feel with a slightly retrofied outfit. She is wearing the outfit of female Nazi, the outer corset is reminiscent of her older outfit and fits with her "domineering" demeanor. The red tie and tread are intended to hint at her classic cobra logo. She still has her hair bun, glasses, and form fitting attire. She comes with a German Lugar pistol.

my pride and joy. I entered this in the State contest(didn't win though...dont care either, because I was in the newspaper!!!!!) the design on the back of the glove might seem familiar to those who play Zelda, since i borrowed it from Link's shield in OoT. I first went out and bought a pair of leather gloves(Harley Davidson) and then cut out three triangular pieces of nickel silver for the plates on the lower part of the glove. I curved the three pieces to fit along the glove and had them overlap each other to make them look scale-like(that, and they make a kick-ass clanking sound everytime i move it!!!!!) the metal is attached to the glove by hand-made rivets(lost count of how many times I cut, smashed and jammed my fingers doing it). and the final piece is a bird claw that can be slipped on and off any time. i had another idea in mind for the fingers, but i was on a deadline at the time, so i came up with that. I will hopefully have a pair by the end of next year, only if i can get into a jewelry class at the North Seattle Community College in the fall. if you have any questions, just ask.
