Put your best art forward
You may think you want to offer everything you can for sale and that is understandable. However, think again. It's likely that not all works you offer for sale are ones that an art buyer might actually want to buy. Just like a potential buyer has to make a choice of what to buy, a seller is better off specifically selecting what to offer for sale and what not. While the saying "Quality over Quantity" is not a sure way to a sale, it's definitely a good strategy to get there.
It's better to offer only your fewer very best works for sale rather than all of your works.

Recently, I announced changes to Daily Deviations in this journal and I'm happy to say that the response has been favorable. To review, we have made the following changes:
a> The "3-month rule" is now the "6-month rule" meaning an artist cannot receive another DD if they have had one in the last 6 months.
b> Daily Deviation selectors are limited to a maximum of one selection per day. This has been put in place to focus on quality vs quantity.
The hard-coding of these new guidelines is now in place (special thanks to $ZombieCoder for that).

I wanted to thank everyone for the responses on $Thunderstatement’s Blog Pro Tip: Don’t Wait to Report a Problem. There was quite few concerns about the state of our Status forum and we are working to address this because it is most definitely a valid concern and we greatly appreciate those who brought this to our attention!
For quite some time we tried to reserve the Status Forum to the most urgent issues which resulted in parts of the site being completely unusable resulting in high counts of tickets and concerns, to make sure that everyone was made aware of the issue as quickly as possible.
