Infinite Journey, Left Fork of North Creek, Zion National Park, Utah. Life is good in Utah so far this fall! I hiked the famous Subway on Thursday with perfect color, light and water flow. It was a long and strenuous day, over 9 miles of tough canyon hiking, and then in the water for over 5 hours shooting. It was worth the exhaustion. Did the Narrows this afternoon with Ian and Alex and will be going up again tomorrow with a few clients.
Great Falls National Park, VA. This is a location along the Potomac I have been waiting to capture for many years. Finally got the right combination of water level, clouds and light to make it happen. Taken on Sunday morning at sunrise.
Here's an older shot I found on my hard drive whilst cleaning it up. This shot was taken 3 years ago on a family vacation to the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. This actual spot though is found up Mt Tamborine in the Curtis Falls National Park. I've given it a fresh edit ready for my website.
I am now back home from a whirlwind autumn tour that took me from the High peaks of the Adirondacks through Vermont and finally to the mountains of West Virgina. I spent 20 days on the road leading 2 week long photo workshops and shooting personal work. The color was so-so this year in New England coming on early and strong, but ending in muted colors after tropical storm Nicole blew up the coast and hammered new England. Over the next several weeks I will be sharing new work from my travels, so stay tuned!
