Chapter 1 - Unusual Village Visitor
Some may think I am some kind of stupid monster, not able to think by himself, and that only acts listening to his instincts. It may have a part of truth, who knows? I'm probably dumb, yes, but not as much as people think when they judge me only by seeing me. Of course, I'm a Gargun; I'm an eight foot tall bear-like beast with a barely human stature. I'm mostly made of strong muscles and I have big, deadly claws at the tip of each finger and toe. I can understand that some people just stereotype me as a mindless brute.
Though I'm more educated than a simple beast, and you have the proof by what I'm writing right now. I know how to write, I also know how to read and speak common language. I also speak Goliath, but that probably won't serve me often as I don't hang in the goliath territory often, or even my homeland where other Garguns live.
