~Full Moon~Glistening specks of white floated against the darkness that blanketed the world above. A large, bright ball hid behind the silent gray whisps calmly passing by through the night. An array of inverted sunlight streamed through the flying pedestrians and spied brilliantly onto the land below. Threads of green sprouted up from the soil of which they were born on, and a crystal mirror reflected the looming scene above on it's icy surface as it gushed foward in a maze of movement. Tall, thick buildings of nature climbed their way up into the sky and presented flocks of warm colors upward one last time. But their fire did nothing to heat the icy atmosphere of Autumn. Instead, vibrant colors drifted in the air, waiting until a gentle arm swooped them off and carried them to an unknown destination. To one it seemed as though the enviroment was motionless, monotonous, and dead, but life gleamed with every step if the way as it had always been. I can see you.
I can speak to you.
All of you.
That's all I can do.
I can't be there.
I can't hear you either, sometimes.
I'll always have you in my pocket, although I can't touch you.
Always updating, always new versions of you at any moments notice.
But then the day I look for you, and you're gone.
It strikes me at first, and then the bigger picture sets in.
You'll never change again.
You'll never speak again.
Everyone talks to you, but you never answer.
I've said my piece, knowing I would never get an answer.
Hoping you were watching.
Weeks go by, and you're still not talking, although everyone speaks to you.
And that moment hits me again.
You'll never see us grow again.
You'll never breathe again.
I put you back into my pocket.
I know I'll come back.
I know nothing will change.
When I come home, I'll see you.
But everything will be the same.
I can see you.
I can speak to you.
But you'll never change again.
And you'll never speak again.
I paused just now, just for you

Tears will fill my life night and day,
When you'll be gone,
All I would do is mourn,
When you'll be there,
I'll be standing with regrets here,
As you can see,
You are very dear to me,
So please don't go anywhere,
Beacause if you did I will not care ,
And to myself dare,
To commit sucide since everything in love and war is fair....................

I open my eyes to find myself in a room. I sit up still drowsy from waking up I wipe my eyes to clear my blurry vision. My head is also hurting like it got hit with a baseball bat. Eventually my head stopped hurting but then i see that I'm naked and the only thing covering me is the blanket from the bed. I see my clothes scattered on the floor along with female clothing. I start to move out the bed when all of a sudden I hear a noise that sounds like it would come from a woman. When I look over to my right I see that I'm not alone in this bed. Still sleeping the female was covered in the blanket. Due to my curiosity I had to go ahead and see who they were. When I uncovered the blanket from the mysterious sleeping woman I find out to my horror that it's Heather the queen bee and she was sleeping peacefully like a newborn baby completely naked as well. I then immediately say to myself "what the hell happened last night". I try to retrace my memories from last night but all I can remember

Your owner, Karkat Vantas, sighed softly as your muzzle was digging a pit into the turkey, smacking the food loudly.

I write this to you,
This is not a prayer
Not such an inconsequential waste of air,
I can hardly breathe
From on all the prayers
Wasted on your ears,
From how long I've knelt at your feet.
This is a letter
Sent from a grieving sinner
Whilst still clutching the hand
You stole from him
Two hands ,in fact,
One so small
I hardly noticed
When it ceased clutching me.
I write this to ask
Not to pray
As prayers seem to have no worth to you
Surely not mine at least.
I ask only
That you return them to me.
Let me clutch these hands
Till they might return my grasp.
Because as I am right now
I doubt, I could ever let them go.
I write this
Not to pray but to beg
Give them back to me.
Give them back.
I can't let them go.

She was a dance of winter blue,
A determined flame of cold white dawn.
Her eyes, once a child’s, now deepened to an ocean,
A timeline of loneliness and suppression.
She’d become an adult.
All child-like desires restrained—
Seeing her this way makes my heart ache.
In her youth, she’d been a goddess,
An ethereal howl of biting winter wind.
Never holding back.
Now she stands,
A mere whisper choking the storm inside.
I want her to scream,
To let go of this tranquil heresy
And call forth all the corners of her wild heart.
I want her to be free.

“When is spring coming?” you grumbled to yourself as you walked home from school. Scratch that, it was unwillingly ‘school’ for the next week and a half. Your parents sent you to New York to get a life. Which you laughed at first, but they were dead serious. The streets were coated in snow and it was almost scary. Oops, it was. You saw a shadow dart in the snow and paused in your steps. You had a sinking feeling you knew who it was so you sighed and trudged on, soon getting a bunch of cans thrown at you. Luckily, they were all empty.
Except for one can. The green beans weigh a ton, so when the can went on your head, you fell face forward into the snow. The laughter of the boys who canned you faded off as you sat there, not bothering to move.
“Well, it looks like SOMONE’S being a pouty butt.” You heard a sharp voice coo from behind you. Groaning, you sat up and rubbed your head from where the can hit. You let your eyes adjust to what

Janice sighed, lowered her head and just stood there, hands still on the wall, her silhouette framed by the red sand outside.Trivela1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This

'A new school? Perfect.' A lavender feline cat thought sarcastic to herself as she stood in front of Chaos High.
This was her second exchange from high school. She hated going to school. Not because she didn't liked to learn something, more the thing with her being so anti-social and having no friends really.
However, Blaze decided that this time she would make a difference and try to make some friends this year.
She sighed and walked up the stairs with her schoolbag over her shoulder and through the doors.
Blaze wore a white t-shirt with black flower patterns on and dark grey short pants. On her feet, she had white converse, and her schoolbag was purple like herself.
As she walked down the hall, she saw different kind of students all with

South Boston High School wasn’t especially different from my last school, after all, aside from Savanna’s occasional guitar in the hallways, and Jonathan’s randomly slapping me on the back between classes. Alice had a habit of walking right into people whenever she walked down the hallways, her nose always buried in a book. Sarah was never to be seen without her baseball and mitt. She was always playing catch with herself; I wondered if they overlooked that during classes.
Alice had caught me staring a few more times. I couldn’t really help it; she had such striking features. Her expressions were priceless when she was reading; it was the only time she seemed to smile or laugh or even look sad. Other ti

Doll - Chapter 1The harsh winter was much too terrible for Mrs. Strife this year. Having a child to care for and supplies that wouldn't last the rest of the week even for herself, Mrs. Strife felt that she had no choice. The others in Nibelheim wouldn't help her; she knew that. Mrs. Strife decided to take the gamble.Doll - Chapter 13 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
She was going to ask the "Demon Woman" for help.
The natives of Nibelheim passed down stories from many generations ago about the Demon Woman. Mostly everybody thought they were urban legends to scare anyone away from trying to climb up Mt. Nibel, though Mt. Nibel was terrifying enough with its dragons, wolves, and other monsters that were very, very real. The legends of the Demon Woman all said just about the exact same thing: Somewhere in Mt. Nibel lived the Demon Woman, who rarely came down to Nibelheim and apparently hated humans. She could take the form of anybody, and that was one reason why nobody in Nibelheim took kindly to foreigners.
The Demon Woman was Mrs. Strife's only hope.
Ch 1~The Day She SnappedI was dreaming, or what felt like a dream. Maybe it was more like a nightmare wrapped in the allusion of a dream. I was curled into a fetal position swallowed by darkness and the only noise that played was the soft lullaby tune. When the words slowly spun around me like a spider’s web I slowly opened my eyes. He looked around, realizing quickly that he didn't know where he was, or, more importantly, where his mother was. He looked in all directions and saw nothing but unfamiliar, sleeping lions. The other cub's eyes softened. She came and sat near him.
"I'm sure my dad knows where she is. She must be sleeping somewhere. Moms and Dads like to sleep for a loooooooong time." She said, smiling. Khari sighed in relief. Looking up, he saw some of the previously sleeping lions starting to stir, most likely due to his new friend's w
