"That's his nickname for me. You don't get to use it." Kat crossed her arms and continued to glare.
Thom's shoulders slumped and he sat down in the seat beside her. "Fine, I won't call you Kitten." He looked away for a moment and Kat returned to her work. "How about call you Kitty?"
"No." Kat glanced over at him. "Why don't you do something more productive? Work on your aim, or maybe study some strategy?"
"Aw, you trying to tell me I'm not perfect?" Thom slumped a bit, becoming completely relaxed. "You know, why don't we have nicknames? I mean, don't most teams have nicknames?"
"Because we are serious soldiers. We don't have time for nicknames." Kat didn't look away from the screen.

Blind DateIno frowned. Sakura shifted her weight to her left leg. Ino blinked. Sakura put her hands on her hips. Ino pouted. Sakura sighed. Ino Yamanaka had a way of getting information out of people, even without her clan's abilities. The blonde pouted again, sticking her lip out further this time, "Please tell me." "That doesn't narrow it down much!" Ino groaned.
"I don't want to give it away. That's the point of blind date." Ino sighed and dropped her head in defeat. "Is he even cute?"
"Hmmm" Sakura thought on it for a while, "Sure." Ino gave a weak smile, she knew some of Sakura's taste in men. Sakura patted Ino's back, "Don't worry! He's great and you'll have fun, especially since Naruto and I will be there."
"So it's a double date?"
Sakura blushed. "No! I just accepted to tag along 'cause I'm actually in the mood for ramen." She stammered a couple times during her sentence. Ino shrugged and sighed.

"Are sure this is alright with Red Tornado?" Aqualad quested from the Sofa of the base's living room.
"Of 'corse it is!" Wally laughed from the kitchen. "I asked him myself! You can ask robin he was there too."
It was a normal day after school for the team. They all met at the base to hang out and eat afternoon snacks, or meals in Wally's case. The team was gathered in the Living room and Kitchen. Wally and Robin had been scheming the night before about wanting to have a party at the base. It was sure big enough.
Robin ate one of Megan's freshly baked cookies as he talked. "Yeah it's fine Kaldur, Red Tornado was completely fine with the idea!"
Aqualad was quiet for a moment, "I guess if he said it was alright then it could not harm anything." He said rubbing the back of his head.
Artemis leaned against the counter. Two-thirds of a cookie was clutched in her hand as she listened to the oh-so-obvious lies of Robin and Wally, she just hadn't both
Awake (PJO Oneshot)Annabeth arrived within the Underworld under the influence of an eerie calm that lasted about as long as it took for her to realize where she was- which was all of three seconds. The boat she was about to board should have given it away in an instant, what with the robed, skeleton figure peering at her through the black depths of his skull. He spoke, probably inquiring about her payment or making an observation about the fact that they’d met before, but Annabeth didn’t hear him. She just stood there blankly in confusion. She couldn’t be dead. She shouldn’t be here; she should be back out there, helping the others. This wasn’t right. Memories flooded her and she just wanted to block them all out, but she knew that she was overwhelmed and that she couldn’t process them all at once and so when she looked up- intending to tell the impatient ferryman to wait for a moment- and saw Silena Beauregard walking toward her with bittersweet concern in her eyesAwake (PJO Oneshot)2 years ago in Drama More Like This

Jill sat beside Chris's hospital bed. She held his unmoving hand and waited for him to wake up. He had fallen asleep nearly an hour before and she stayed the entire time.
She was starting to wonder why.
She had been his partner for five years now and she was tired. She put everything she had into being there for him, taking care of him, being his partner. And she no longer knew why. He was her world, and he was fading. She was questioning her very exsistence. Why love if not to be loved in return?
Her grip lessoned on his hand. "Chris..." she spoke. "I know you're asleep and that you can't hear me, but... That makes this easier." She rubbed her hand over the back of her neck. "I love you," the brunette whispered into the cold, dark hospital room. It echoed around her like it was taunting her. "But I can't anymore. It's... too much."
Chris remained unmoving on the bed, his monitor beeping quietly to prove his heart still beat. She swore at he

"And what were the other choices? There had to be something better than grass!"
"Yeah, mushrooms, wild onions, ferns, potatoes oh, and don't forget the ever exciting world of moss."
"So why did you even take this course? I mean, the description didn't even sound remotely interesting. You're a chemist, Mr. West, not an ecologist."
"Yes, Ms. Crock, but I told you, the university wouldn't allow me in any advanced chemistry classes and the basic level would have bored me to tears! Ecology was the only accelerated level science they would let me take and you know how I can't stand being bored in science class."
"And grass isn't boring?"
" Grass is boring. That's why I need your help."
"Sure, Wally, like I know anything more about grass than you do."
"No, but you can look it up, can't you? Two heads are better than one, am I right?"

The mountain was quiet, way too quiet. It unsettled Wally. He couldn't eat his sandwich in peace, he needed sound, and movement. The speedster couldn't be the sole person in the entire mountain, it was impossible. Grabbing his partially eaten sandwich, Wally pushed his stool back, and walked towards the hallway leading to the other rooms.
He reached the main entrance and checked the computer, noting that he was not alone! There were two other entry records, having arrived before he had. Strange that he hadn't seen them, but if they were training, or deeper inside the mountain, there was no chance of them having heard him coming in.
He passed by the library, and didn't find anyone. Not that he specifically minded it, he didn't fancy hanging out with someone in the library. When he reached the weight room, he finally heard sounds of struggles. He pulled the door open, and the sounds intensified, distinctly making out a male and female voice.

Gaz sat on the couch playing her Game Slave as the TV blared on with Mysterious Mysteries. She hated this show but it had become routine to end up watching it at this time every other night. The only problem was that her brother was an hour late now and his friend was over. She looked over to see the short haired blond mess with his phone while he waited for Dib. Grunting in annoyance, Gaz got up from her spot on the couch and put her game on pause for a bit. Her stupid brother was never late, maybe he had gotten injured or something more appealing.
"I'm going to kill him if he ever gets home." Gaz said making the blond look up from his phone. He gave a sigh and was glad that Gaz was not his little sister, what torture that would be. Xander kept his thoughts to himself and kept his mouth shut so he wouldn't face her wrath again. There was no way he would end up with his underwear mysteriously over his pants again. That had been a nightmare that he definitely didn't want to relive so he

Everything he told Dib is mostly lies. It just makes him mad to know that the one person who knows him the best thinks he's a failure. Zim sighs and stares angrily at the plans he has laid out on the kitchen table.
Why should it bother him what his enemy thinks, anyways?
These plans involve hacking into the government and well that's all there is so far. He could do something.
Involuntarily his eyes are to the clock. Usually he would have fed Dib by now, but the boy deserves to be hungry after his rudeness. Another sigh escapes him. In four hours Zim will feed Dib. At least then he won't have a body to dispose of. Probably.
Bored and confused, Zim stands to look out the window at the passing humans. His reflection mimics the smirk on his face. Dib really believes all of what Zim said. And he fears Zim. Zim chuckles triumphantly.

Zim kept to the schedule of feeding Dib three times a day and disinfecting him once a day. Since Zim decided that Dib could probably use the exercise, Dib was allowed to walk to and from the shower. He's also cooled down the water so that the strange redness doesn't come back on Dib's skin. Every time they see each other Dib asks "What's your plan, Zim?" It's almost become tradition.
So far the Dib-beast has been prisoner of Zim for a week and no one has come looking for him. Not surprising, really. Everyone considers him a crazy creeper and definitely not worth searching for. Thankfully its summer vacation so they don't have skool. But because there is no skool it gives the Irken too much time to think non-take-over-the-earth thoughts.

She claimed she wasn't scared of anything. She was fearless. Death itself didn't scare her. But the thought of marrying Wally- marrying anyone for that matter scared the shit out of her. She didn't know how to deal with it. She swallowed hard and looked at him again, prepared to tell him no.

A word described as "something that is kept secret, hidden, or concealed."
It meant a lot to have one. But it meant even more to keep it away from people. It could make or break a person, relationship or bond.
It was dark and heavy. It possessed the ability to suffocate someone not strong enough to wield it. It could build and build on a person's shoulder until they broke down entirely. It made a person want to hole up and stay hidden from the rest of the world. If they didn't have to see people, it didn't hurt as badly.
It was something that let a person know that they were their own person. That they had privacy. That they didn't have to share their entire lives with everyone around them. Everyone had one. Everyone kept one. It was expected from everyone.
Hell, it was weirder and far stranger if someone didn't have a secret. That only meant they couldn't be trusted.
If they have nothing to hide, they have nothing to live for.
If they have nothing to live for, they're foolish.

It was just another typical day at Mount Justice. Superboy was training with Black Canary. Robin was somewhere hacking something. And the most typical part of them all was that Wally was in the kitchen with M'gann of course. M'gann was trying to bake cookies, but Wally was blocking her way.

Displayed on the screen was a news reporter, who was slowly unveiling the proceedings of a botched mission by STARS in the now nonexistent Spencer Mansion. He watched her delicately work her magic on the piano's keys
