The Pegasus HCV (Heliborne Combat Vehicle) is a light, 6 wheeled IFV, capable of being transported in, and air-dropped from, a C-130 Hercules transport aircraft.
Armed with either a 30mm chain gun and 7.62mm machine gun, or in the Pegasus Brimstone (left) a four-round Quicksilver ATGM launcher, and capable of transporting a full squad of infantry, the Pegasus is a highly versatile fighting vehicle.
Its most distinctive feature, however, is the ability to be carried by the CH-35 Atlas heavy lift helicopter using the two attachment points on either side of the hull. This enables the Pegasus to be quickly transported across terrain that would normally be impassable, at speeds greater than any land-based combat vehicle.
This capability gives Pegasus mounted troops a blend of the mobility of Aerial Cavalry and the firepower and armoured support of Mechanised Infantry.
... and here's Gotham's 'heavy armor' SWAT guy... once again, my thinking is that these poor bastard's equipment dates back to riot gear from the 70's, but at the same time it has a very durable, and almost 'death squad' feel to it... the small goggles hopefully take away it's 'soul', making the wearer just look like a mean-bastard shock-trooper!
...in hindsight, I should have made the weapons look older too... oh well!
Design for Ace Combat Assault Horizon's F-15 paintscheme contest. The design came out as the final grand winner (both by the public vote and Project Aces judging panel), and will be featured in Ace Combat Assault Horizon as free post-launch DLC.
Thanks for everyone who voted and supported this design!
Ok so as of late i've been completely hooked on Spartacus, both the series and the game.
This piece is a fanart/portfolio piece of the game itself, i challenged myself to make a fanart and keep it within the style of the series/game.
So i decided to paint one of my champions, Sequitus, the man only fell once in the arena and has already over 220 victories and counting, truly a force of nature this Carthaginian. He was one of the first gladiators of my Ludus, and even saw the death of former champions like Vinnicius and Ermot. Right now he's facing the threats of rising gladiators like Baronius (140 , Galvannicus (120), Taran and Skilurus the newcomers.
ok sue me sometimes i like making these side stories to make things interesting and develop my creativity skills. It helps alot when im taking breaks from Hubris.
I'm planning one more piece for Baronius, this time a little more action from him, this was more of an homage piece for Sequitus, well deserved due to his great service and he'll never be forgotten not even when he has been surpassed in skill by his fellow brothers. really had a blast designing this and painting it and i hope the next one is as fun, if i ever do it it's gonna be gory
Unused character paintings for a Nuclear Dawn promotional wallpaper from earlier this year - The final piece used in-game character models over a background I painted but I wanted these guys (and girl) to see the light of day as I had put a lot of work into them.
The full game is out now for Mac/PC at a budget price of around US$25.00 and it's been getting some very positive reviews.
