Nightmare Before ChristmasA local theatre director is putting on a Halloween show in our town, and this year it is a medley from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Tonight we had formal auditions (even though we've already had a few rehearsals). I have the height advantage, but I am also not male, and my two attractive, talented male friends were also auditioning and the singing parts are a bit low. So tonight, I decided to try something different (though I was nervous to do so). I decided to sing as Jack does in the movie, more by using voice intonation, exclaiming, and speaking rather than singing exact notes.
