Here's my entry for the GOW art contest and first attempt at drawing anything Gears related. I couldn't pass up the opportunity on a contest involving one of my favorite video game franchises. Plus there's 100 prizes that are all pretty damn cool so here's hoping I win something.
I listened to the Gears 3 soundtrack the entire time I whipped this out and it helped inspire a ton, especially "Finally a Tomorrow". It's going to be sad seeing this series end but hopefully I'm wrong and there's more planned for the C.o.G. in the future.
I wont get too wordy about my process with this here, so if you curious about that check out my blog post about it here ---> [link]
Hope you all dig it.

This is my *Rift: Create a Colossus entry*. Just finished it so I hope you like it. Being sculpture I've included various shots to show scale in proportion to the referenced dummy playable character.
"Ancient as the very rock that first formed in the plane of earth, tall as the eldest mountains and tough as the hardest precious stone. Once freely his domain, now his again. Made of mineral and stone, gifted with life. Once again he roams".
My Possible ideas for It as a boss...
Defense properties: Incredibly hard exoskeleton of Crystal and stone making him fairly resistant to direct melee damage in all but certain areas. When low on life energy, If allowed to he can enter a fetal like position making him invulnerable for a short amount of time and allowing him to regain 20% of life force back.
Attack Properties: AOE - The life that imbues his body can be harnessed for a massive attack But leaves him temporarily drained shortly after. Ranged - Tearing off the crystals that grow in multitudes all over his body, he throws them at the party for a devastating single target attack. Melee - Using his colossal strength he stomps and pounds the earth crushing those beneath his aim.
Weaknesses: Attacking his joints. Attacking his neck guard when exposed in weakened state. The more ranged attacks he makes, steadily over time his Armour rating lowers.
- Planar Theme: Earth - Sculpture - Stands 60cm tall - Made with modeling ceramic clay and Super Sculpey. - no armature, balanced and free standing. - unpainted purposefully.
- (The small metal figure is used as a suitable reference to scale only for my sculpture and is not directly a part of my piece. I purchased it and hold no other rights to it nor claim it as my own work)
A last minute entry. Sirius the brightest Star in the night sky, is also known as the \"Wolf Star\" or the \"Dog Star\". Mirroring the constellation I've depicted what I believe Sirius the Constellation would look like based off of the Pawnee creation myth; the Milky way is known to them as Wolf road.
