new french interview and iceland trek review

Sylvain Girard : [link] was here during our Iceland Otherworldy Adventure .

This shot was done during our 1st day trekking the Laugavegur ( from Landmannalaugar to Thorsmork ) 55 Km . 4 days .

Hail tempest was coming from all around , I REALLY enjoyed the muted colors of the brown / yellow hills and the snow covered with ashes of the recent volcanoes eruptions.

View above Botnar Hut during the Laugavegur trek in my Workshop in Iceland . June 2011 - 20-29

There's an unspeakable feeling floating around .. This was almost night , a sort of long blue hour with ominous clouds and a very quiet atmosphere . I was standing in front of this Immense glacier , quite close to the Eyjafjallajökull volcano .. Covered with layers of Ashes ..

The upper part of the image (left mountain) appeared as a painting to me ( strange texture ) without any photoshop treatment .

I've used a 70-200 mm F4 L IS with ND grad filter . Warm white balance .

A new ID from one of my Favorite place around where I live .. Anterne Lake , approx 3 hours and half hike to reach this wild place ..

I love to backpack here , to wake up early and behold the light descending slowly on the green slopes . the clear mountain lake is very inviting but quite cold , in fact !

A strange mix of liquid & solid textures .

Some of these ice pieces are polished and smooth, and others are very crisp and structured ..

My advise here is to reach the point of view with naked feet there are always sudden waves coming .. mh mh . But you could imagine the coldness of the water .
