Yeah, it all started with Jesus when he said "God is loving and forgiving" and God was like "What? Since when?" but it worked out quite well, and God's been trying to keep up to date on what is considered the right thing to do ever since.
Niels doesn't get seriously jealous easily, so I needed 300 and 250 to do something fairly intimate. I thought about various things but ended up thinking "Fuck it. Dancing is cliche, but it's Agent 300's style"
Also, there is no such thing as "just a background character" to me. I actually have back-stories and personalities for even Niels' bodyguards.
Uh, yeah. Lot's of text in this one. I just wanted to write some dialog between Agent 250 and his ex-wife to show what kind of relationship they have now, and it got a little out of hand... I thought about keeping 250's sexuality more ambiguous, but it would just have disappointed the people who were practically begging me to keep him straight in the long run. I almost feel sorry for those people, because 250 was always meant to be gay (he hit on 300 in the first comic he appeared in) and on top of that he is the only gay man in the comic. Everyone else are hetro or bi, so he was really the wrong horse to bet your hetro-money on.
By the way, I did a count yesterday to see how many hetro, homo and bisexual characters there are in the Niels universe. I was really surprised to get these numbers: Homo-2. Bi-8. Hetro-21. Apparently it isn't as overpopulated by bisexual characters as I thought. It just seem that way because I tend to focus on the bi and gay characters.
EDIT: Oooops! I had forgotten that her name was Irene. I changed it.
Don't worry 250. That's what it's always like at the beginning of a relationship. You'll get stronger.
EDIT: Pff! Calm down people. 250 told 300 that he won't tolerate him manipulating his family, and 300 understood that and apologized, then showed a little chest to lighten the mood. Besides, 250 said in another comic that Britney had been wanting to move in with her mother for a long time because she was sick of living with her dad, so 300 was just the last little push.
Too bad you didn't see Agent 300's revenge, cause it was awesome!
Anyway, I know some people will think I chicken out and brought him back from the dead, but the truth is that he was never supposed to die. I just needed something drastic to happen, and thought, "Why not be evil and toy with their emotions a bit?" >:}
Originally their conversation was a lot longer and explained how Niels was able to survive a shot to the head and 300 and 250 talked a bit about family, but it was too boring so I decided to do it like this.
Heh, I've been sick for the last couple of days, and all I've been feeling like drawing is 300 and 250 being cute.
I actually don't know exactly how old any of my characters are. All I can tell you is that 300 is somewhere in his late 30'ies, and 250 somewhere in his late 40'ies. He looks older though because of the hard lifestyle he used to live back when he was out in the field.
