This is one of the two cheetah brothers from the zoo of cologne. I'm sorry that I can't tell you the name of this one because I've seen them just once from a distance.
Cheetahs can easily be recognized by the black line which runs from the eyes toward their mouth.

Lets celebrate the International Cheetah Day with a cheetah photo spam :D
If you care about these magnificent felines you should support the Cheetah Conservation Fund!
If you like cheetahs, have a look at this folder containing mainly high quality cheetah photos: [link] more cheetah photos will be posted during the day ;)

Ever seen a cheetah running in slow motion? [link] It's like visual poetry. And you can see how hard the cameraman had to work to keep the cheetah in the frame. :XD:

This is my submission for the International Cheetah Day Challenge!
(Though I treat every day like it's Cheetah Day. 13 hours of sleep, woo!)

Cheetahs are some of the most amazing animals on the planet. I had the honor of seeing one lead her cub through the trees in the wild. If I have kids, I want them to be able to experience that too.

If you'd like to learn more about what cheetahs face and how you can help, visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund. Then honor them with a well-deserved nap.

This is my contribution to the Gaia Vim Naturae charity book to help Colombia's flood disaster.

Many great artists are part of this project organized by :iconleaglem: , and their works are absolutely amazing! You can take a look at the some of the previews and order the charity book here [link] and of course all profits will be donated to help Colombians in need.

Thank you!
